I had high hopes that this nail salon would be the last one I needed to try in Butte. Unfortunately…read moremy appointment was rather interesting and I won't be going back. They called me several times to change my appointment around. When I got there, I was asked to pick a color. Then waited 10 minutes past my appointment time. Not because they were busy or working on another client which was kinda confusing. Before the woman started (drilling/filing) working on my acrylic fill she pulled out a page of the comic section from last Sundays newspaper instead of a paper towel. I was pretty surprised, hadn't seen that before. Didn't seem like tools were well sanitized. When she put the liquid on so your nails don't lift it burned. When I went to wash my hands (when she told me to) it was the last step and after she had applied polish and a top coat. In the past I've usually washed my hands after the filing/drilling was done and before polish. The fill was $60 which is more than I've paid at a more sanitary, clean salon. So my search continues to see where I can find a salon that I won't be reading Calvin & Hobbs, worry about getting an infection and not have to use nail polish remover to clean up the excess nail polish around my cuticles. I would hope the health department or someone mandates the cleanliness of salons.

Okay I just have to say this is a beautiful barber shop!! They have alot of potential here if the…read morebarbers were competent. However when I got my hair cut it was poor in my opinion for several reasons. The primary reason being that I was rushed through my haircut. The line work was significantly worse than I had expected. When giving someone a haircut things should be straight. It's so common it's beyond common sense. Secondly, there's uneven parts of my haircut. Which proves to me that this barber is not here for cutting hair, but he is here for the money. When I come into a barber shop I am expecting a visit that is simple and not over complicated. However, with their checking and receiving system it took me over 5 minutes to simply pay for my transaction. This is a small part of the overall process but it plays quite the significant role to me. I am expecting a smooth transaction rather than an unexpected detour in the process. Overall, I would rate this barbershop 2/10. With that being said there are some bright features of this barbershop that make it unique. However, I would not recommend this to others seeking a haircut. Simply because I received a bad haircut my first trip here.
