I went to Ink Spot for my first tattoo a memorial piece for our baby who passed on. I was a bit nervous as typical stereotype I am a corporate america worker and the artists are tattoo'd and different. However I knew better that you never judge a book by it's cover.
Every Artist has their unique space which is really cool, needles they only use brand new and they are very clean. I was amazed about how much they are experts on infections, pathogens and the care they take.
I met Ike and we setup an appointment. I brought him some ideas or my thoughts. However I made it clear he is the artist and man he delivered. It took about 4 hours and it was a big tattoo for my first. Everyone is so nice at that shop, they are all about customer service and respect.
Ike and I talked the whole time he is a great guy and he took his time to explain the entire process even when I asked the same questions it seemed over and over for clarification on how to do the aftercare.
I would say ask for Ike because I am wearing a piece of his art on my arm, but I'm pretty sure anybody there would be a perfect fit for you if you are looking for customer service and are nervous, new or just unsure. There is no pressure and they don't charge you for just talking about the art until the needle hits the skin.
Sadly I'll be moving but when I come back home (Tacoma area) I will be making those holiday trips extended if I want more work done just to visit the Ink Spot. read more
