My email stated going forward we will only communicate via email as text messages are not good documentation for a $3K project (it is what he gave me without seeing the project). A week has past and no response. I had another very bad experience last year with another concrete person and Ramos seemed to follow the same path, so I am backing off. The $3K did not include materials. It is not a big job, and I have done this myself in past homes. As you can see in his response below that he never intended to follow-up yet lead me to believe he would send an estimate and to send him pictures. Why say that with no intention to follow-up. amazing how a negative review gets immediate attention.

Professionalism Abounds!…read more I am a professional photographer and have been preparing for the construction of my building/studio for some years now. (Current projections are for me to break ground within the next 18 months.) I have always been looking at the best & most cost effective way to to build my studio without the need to redo / rebuild / refloor / rewhatever something within the next few decades. I want to build it to last. When I've talked with them, they've been very professional. They've answered my questions. They also have one of the most amazing show rooms I have ever seen in my life. My grandfather and uncles were contractors, I've seen my fair share of show rooms. The ACS show room goes right up there with the high end furniture stores that I've been to. It is absolutely beautiful! The creative process is something that I can appreciate and the wide range of finishes they can perform is astounding. From marble to wood to almost anything and everything in between, their floors just, well, floored me! From when I've talked with them, I've gathered that David is the one that oversees EVERYTHING in the field and Heather is the one that does the business and books. It is a "Mom & Pop" operation with the quality of an artisan shoppe. I know many who work do work with them and I've never heard a complaint from any. They showed up on the agreed-upon date and prepped the site, digging out excess dirt AND removing it, then laying base and tamping it by machine rather than trying to "stomp it in". They returned two days later (due to rain), set the wire mesh and poured the concrete. Couldn't be more pleased - they cleaned up their work area at the end of EACH day, and when they were done the site looked like it had always been that way.

Unfortunately, they only do the landscape portion, so we hired another company for the deck. They don't do sprinkler systems, either. In the end, we went with another company that could do the landscaping and the in-ground sprinklers together in the same project. If it was landscaping only, I would have been happy to try them. Kellye came out to our house even though it's an hour from where she is as soon as she could, took measurements and answered all the questions that we had at the time and listened carefully to what we wanted. I would certainly recommend considering them when you want to get bids on a landscape job.
