There was also no communication from the driver to keep me updated. I didn't hear anything until 1:37 PM, which left me concerned about whether my ride was actually coming. Since I couldn't risk being late to my destination, I had to arrange another transportation service instead. I understand that delays can happen, and I appreciate the work that goes into coordinating rides. However, timely communication is just as important as arriving on time. A quick text or update about a delay would have made a big difference and helped me plan accordingly. I hope South Bay Yellow Cab will look into its dispatch and notification system to help prevent this from happening to other customers. I would appreciate seeing improvements in both pickup reliability and communication. Thank you for taking the time to consider this feedback.

We considered leaving our car at lax but parking prices were around the same price. So for convenience of not having to park and take a shuttle to lax from the parking lot didn't sound better than paying and getting a lift. I'm all honestly, I would use this service again. At first I had anxiety because I had to do a quote and didn't actually speak to someone verbally. It was all through email and the site. Email replied for the quote was quick (check your junk mail), I had to ask a question to confirm a car seat and received a reply the same day. Our driver Matt text message the night before which gave me piece of mind. He was very accommodating and nice. I even asked him if he was available to pick us up earlier (you know anxiety with traffics/ traveling with a toddler) and he replied right away. It was a smooth easy drive. We paid using Venmo since their credit card system was down. All in all Matt was professional, prompt, easy to work with. I would definitely request to have him drive us again if available. The van he drove was more than enough room and the car seat worked fine. So yes, even with the price, I give this five stars bc it eased my anxiety on traveling with a toddler and needing a car seat. Made the experience traveling for the first time with my kid a great one and made me feel like we could travel more now.

SUPER HONEST SERVICE…read more I arrived late to LAX and had a very pleasant ride with a great driver, originally from Ethiopia. Foolishly I left my cell phone in his cab and he was fabulous in helping me retrieve. Not only did he find a friend's number in my phone and call it from his phone to let me know he had it (I'm a senior from Canada and don't use my phone in the US), but tried to bring it to my home. Unfortunately, we didn't connect, but he took it in to the office first thing Monday morning and I picked it up there. I cannot say enough about this man's honesty. Bell Cab Company is really lucky to have someone of this caliber working for them!! I'll always look for a Bell Cab at LAX in the future.

Uber car seat didn't seem to be a reliable option and ride hailing services required a super far transfer to another pickup location. The bus was also triple the time to our destination near the cruise port. Go Ride was very clear about their pricing and they were detailed when answering a follow up question I had about pickup time which was fortunate as our flight ended up getting in 30 mins earlier than scheduled. Our driver, Oscar, arrived early to pick us up - I received an iMessage from him before landing using my airline's in-flight wifi - I was able to send him updates as we got off the plane and got our bags. He pulled up within 5 mins of my last message when we had our bags conveniently right outside the terminal. It was so easy I didn't even need to rent the $8 USD luggage cart and my kids didn't have enough time to complain about any wait. Oscar was really helpful with our bags and had all the car seats already installed correctly! All seats were facing the correct direction, solid, tight and the only adjustment needed was for the actual seat belts themselves to secure the kids. Oscar offered us bottles of water and we were off to the hotel. On the way we had a nice chat and he was totally OK with the youngest child crying for a bit while navigating LA's notorious traffic (he said it was light but to me it was busy). Drop off at the hotel was smooth and we tipped in cash for great service - he impressed us! Definitely would recommend to anyone especially families looking for a smooth experience getting anywhere from LAX airport. I will be using them again for future travel. Pricing: reasonable and competitive for door to door private car service with car seats. Communication: from booking to actual day of it was the right amount of detail Quality: car and car seats were super clean Safety: our driver Oscar was safe while navigating LA's freeway and street traffic. Car seats were properly installed and well maintained. Convenience: Door to door service was amazing and easy - I had bags but didn't require a luggage cart at all. Time saved = more relaxation time = less whiny little ones Thanks again Oscar and Go Ride!

I got in at the LAX taxi stand at almost 1 am after a long flight. There was a long line of people waiting for a cab, so I allowed the driver to rush me into the car. He NEVER turned on the meter and I never saw any price info. He just put my address into his phone, then started driving. I know there was a language barrier, so I didn't think anything of it. But on my way home, I started getting scared and wondering where he was taking me. It turns out he still got me home, but he took the LONGEST possible route. I live in an area near several freeways, and he took 5 different freeways when I could have gotten home using 3. He added over 7 miles & 5 minutes to the route. There was no reason for this, because there were no road closures and no traffic at that hour. Sneakily, he also dropped me off across the street and one house over, so that his car wasn't captured on my doorbell camera. He had me pay by tapping my card on his cell phone, not on the machine that's on the headrest of the car. Only after talking with my husband did I realize that NONE of this is normal or standard practice. I am so angry, and I feel like I was assaulted, even though I know I was only taken advantage of financially - luckily, I was not physically harmed. But still!!! And since I was so tired from my trip and new to taxis, I didn't get his name or taxi number. I called the customer service line (impossible to get hold of them too!), and the lady couldn't help me much since I didn't have any identifying information. She couldn't even find the credit card transaction. Ugh! Avoid this company! And take care of yourself if you ever ride a taxi! Take pictures of the car before you get in - capture the license plate and taxi number. And make sure you discuss pricing and that they turn on the meter in a way that's visible to you BEFORE they even begin driving. Also, never pay on the driver's phone - always use the machine on the headrest. I send curses onto that driver and I hope he doesn't get the chance to take advantage of other passengers the way he did with me!

The next day I received a call from AMEX stating someone had tried to commit fraud with my card at a Phillips 66. We are a family with a child that has a disability, a service dog, my husband and myself. We were extremely offended by this mans assumption that we were lazy when we were paying for a service. My husband had planned on giving him a very nice tip too. I really wished he had given no tip at all but the driver on his own accord did not offer any change so for an 11.00 ride he made $20.
