We started with mindfulness and energy work, which helped me gain the momentum to move forward. One of my breakthroughs with Angie was shifting from a victim mindset to an empowered mentality. Her unique and compassionate approach was key in helping me make this transition. Coming from a science background, it's sometimes a challenge for me to embrace a more spiritual or holistic methodology. But I encourage anyone considering Angie's services to keep an open mind. Angie has a unique combination of skills and tools that she custom-tailors to each client's needs -- in my case it was life coaching, a bit of what feels like therapy (processing), and mindfulness practices. Together those tools and her keen sense of what to focus on each session (based on my ever-shifting personal needs) have helped me navigate a wide array of challenges and begin successfully rebuilding my life after a divorce and career path in flux. Angie's wisdom is sage; she knows when to be direct (always informed by kindness and what's best for me) vs. letting me lead or process; and the tools she's recommended continually help me gain a greater perspective on who I really am, what my strengths are, and how best to bring my gifts to the world. I would highly recommend Angie Swartz to anyone who needs their own personal Life Purpose Advisor.

I loved showing up to class because, more often than not, I was working through some real-life challenges, and the tools we practiced helped me navigate them in real time. The program didn't just teach me how to coach--it brought a whole new awareness to how I listen, how I approach conversations, and how I show up for myself and others. It made me realize that I had been stuck in 'fixer' mode--always trying to manage things, always trying to solve problems--but in a way that was draining me, leaving me with less capacity to be fully present. I remember a specific moment when I was going through something tough, and I had to coach myself using the very skills I was learning. That's when it hit me--this wasn't just about getting a certification or building skills to help others. This was about shifting how I live, how I listen to myself, and how I manage that fixer within me. It was about recognizing that I deserve the same care and attention that I give to others. That personal transformation has stayed with me long after the program ended. Now, having gotten over that hump and starting my coaching and consulting practices, I'm actively using these skills, and they've helped me tremendously. Whether it's in the workshops I've held, coaching my clients, or leading my team, these tools have been invaluable. It's been an amazing, incredible experience, and I'm forever grateful for it. I'll always appreciate not only the tools and resources that set me up for success as a coach but also the deep personal growth I experienced. And I can't forget the community--the staff and fellow students were so supportive, so loving. They created a space where I could be myself, and I'm truly thankful for that. Simply put it was such a dope experience.
