If I could give zero stars I would!! My dress broke the night before the wedding I'm standing up in. And now I'm Scrambling to fix myself. I will be calling for A refund. 245 for a broken dress. Not to mention the fabric of the dress was not taken into account after altering and the folded pattern is pulling away from the seams and a few stickers have already broke. Just from trying it on. It went from a bag. To this place back into a bag and then to my home where I was going to steam it (suggested by them) and tried it on to see what spots needed it. I also do not think I ever met with the seamstress once. The person altering my dress and I never spoke. I feel as though as an "expert" they should be the ones to direct you in what can and can not be fixed with a dress. I wanted the dress taken in a bit as it was falling off at the top, but now it's entirely too tight and hurts. I'm honestly dreading having to wear this all day, and the constant worry of it breaking again or even worse. The zipper also will not stay up due to how tight it is. Of course you try this ok before leaving, but you stand there and look into a mirror. Maybe I should have acted as if I was in the dance floor to test drive this before leaving. Just do not go here, save your money and your sanity. read more

Both the gals were amazing! We had some new tuxes adjusted before our wedding that was planned (in the Before Times) and have been very happy with the results. I advise not going here for bridal dress alterations. Due to my wedding venue closing, I decided to elope in Las Vegas in August. I was able to get a fitting in for my bridal dress approximately 1.5 months before our elopement. The first appointment went fine for the first consultation. The second appointment after alterations was disappointing. I have a mermaid style dress. It needed to be taken out a little due to COVID weight gain. The hips were puckering/bulging out at the side. When I asked about it, the owner said I needed to pull down on the dress on the inside to smooth it out. I did it and it still didn't work. It felt like the dress needed to be taken in because of the extra fabric at the hip and because the bust felt extremely loose too. I pointed this out and the seamstress said that she was just "going based on her notes" which indicated to take the dress out by one inch. I apologized and she said she just wanted to make it right. The third appointment (only a few days before the elopement) I tried the dress on again and it still had puckering/bulging at the hips. I also had concerns about the bust still being too big. It is a strapless dress.The feedback I received was that I needed to have a different type of undergarment (such as a corset) to hold the dress up. Because it was a sweetheart neckline and strapless, I was told I wasn't going to feel as supported as I would in a normal bra and that if I wanted extra support, I would need to add straps. I did not wear a bra to any of my fittings and said I did not want to wear one. I wish this would have been told me to from the very beginning. Because it was only a few days before, I felt like I had no choice but to take the dress as is and pay the $680 due to the contract I signed. My gut feeling was to reach out to a seamstress in Las Vegas. Thank god I did. Europin Tailoring took me in the day of my elopement and did an emergency alteration to fix my dress the best that they could. This seamstress took in the extra fabric that made the hips pucker out and she also added boning so that I would feel supported at the top. I still had a huge wrinkle in the center of my dress (see photo included) that could not be fixed due to the time crunch. My dress was the one thing I looked forward to after postponing my wedding and then finding out the venue closed permanently due to the pandemic. I hate to be that person but after spending money for such a special day, I hope no one had to go through what I went though. read more

Let me say that I'm writing this review to try to save other people from having to go through what I did. I needed a hem and the straps shortened on a bridesmaids dress. She took her time pinning everything and making sure it was just right but when she went to go over the cost she came to $200!!!!! What!?!?! I immediately went to my car to called other places around town and got some more quotes and realized others were charging half that! So I went back in not even an hour later on the same night to get my dress back and she still charged me $35!!! All she did was pin it! I understand she took a half hour to pin it but I just think that should be part of the cost of doing business, she hadn't started on any alterations or done anything permanent to my dress. Just want others to make sure you ask for a quote BEFORE you let her do any pinning to save the $35. My learnings for next time too! read more

Not happy they quoted me a price and charged me $30 over the quote. I wish they would have told me it was going to cost so much more then the quote. Also it did not turn out well...I will not come here again. I also gave 2 referrals to them and am embarrassed how there experience was too. Work is mediocre and over priced in my opinion. If you have other options for alterations, I would highly suggest doing so. First, the cost is quite high- paid nearly $400 to have a $150 bridesmaid dress altered. The zipper did need to be removed in addition to hemming two layers and taking in the sides and arm area, but would have expected outstanding work for that price. When I went to pick up my dress, I noticed a snag in the chiffon right in front. The seamstress never talked to me only the business manager who said there was nothing that could be done. I insisted they at least try to steam or press the area since it was a very noticeable flaw which they caused!! In addition, the hemline bottom was sewed to the side, so it did not lay correctly. How could this have been missed by the seamstress? They did fix that in the store when I showed them. Then when I got home, I noticed the zipper in back was crooked, so the two sides of material did not line up properly when zipped. I did not see this on the shop because I had the business manager zip it up for me. But again, how could this be overlooked and left that way when I paid $400? Since it was more than a hour after I left the shop, there was nothing I could do, per the contract. This whole experience was a nightmare. I received no apologies or offer to reduce the price I paid. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else. read more

They have made two creations for me...starting from a sketch to final vision and both were exactly what I want. When I came in for a fitting, i made a couple requests and they incorporated them into the final. They are very professional ans skilled. I will be back again. After six items, the seventh is free! Horrible Experience!!! Do not come here!!! I brought in my Ralph Lauren dress ($220) for hemming... It was for a gala Milwaukee downtown in a week. The owner took the measurements wrong so when I came in for the fitting the dress was too short. First she proposed to add a line of fabric at the end of the skirt. She then tried to buy a new dress but it was not available at any Macy's near by, so she proposed to change the skirt with new fabric. I agreed, but the measurements were taken wrong again, all along I was wearing he shoes I was going to wear that night. The dress was delivered to me with a piece of fabric added to the bottom, a bad zipper that wouldn't close at first, a hole at the end on the zipper in the skirt and a really really bad hem. I don't think I can wear this dress... worst of all she wouldn't g ive me a refund for what I spent on the dress. An evening ruined for me for the truly bad service at this company, is definitely not worth the risk!!! read more
