For first 9 months, things were okay until the driver who came each week for cleaning, finally retired. After that, things got lousy real fast. The new driver assigned to our area was changing every week or two. They didn't show up to clean the unit weekly as scheduled. We often went 10-14 days with no cleaning and had to call dispatch. If they did show up, they did a half-baked job. They tore up part of our yard because they couldn't back into our driveway properly. They often lied to dispatch and said they stopped, but never did many times. We had to pay extra in winter months for winterizer. But the drivers never used it and everything froze. Then when they came to clean the next week, they couldn't clean it properly due to freezing, which merely compounded the situation. The drivers claimed we blocked their access to the unit with our cars. It was their excuse to dispatch to avoid having to stop and clean the unit. It was a lie though since we ensured the unit was free when they were scheduled to come. For the one or two times a car was in the way, someone was available to immediately move it each time. Toward the end, dispatch got tired of us calling and tried covertly take the unit back one day after we had just paid for that month. They assumed we would not be on site that day and be able to intervene in the situation. We had to intervene with the driver and get him to put the unit back in place. Finally, a few weeks later, we canceled the service altogether and went with a competitor. Absolutely horrible service!

Allison was phenomenal to work with throughout the entire planning process. She was so organized, and her attention to detail made everything come together seamlessly. On the day of the event, she truly ran the show--keeping us on track with the timeline and making sure everything went smoothly. The bartenders were amazing, too! They felt like part of our group of friends, which made the whole atmosphere even more fun and personal. We danced all night and had a blast! We can't thank everyone at Nickajack Farms enough for orchestrating such a fun event. Their team went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of and that we had the best possible experience. A huge thank you to Allison especially, planning with you was so much fun, and you helped make our "Happily Ever After" celebration one to remember! Highly recommend Nickajack Farms to anyone looking for a beautiful venue and an incredible team to bring their vision to life. Thank you again for making our day so special!

We live up near Akron, and before recently, we had never known about this beautiful farm. Fall Festival was so much fun - perfect for our 1 year old and I'd imagine fun all the way thru school agers. Corn pits, short corn mazes, friendly farm animals, slides and playgrounds, and activity areas galore made our little one's day. He loved seeing the resident rabbit hopping around the farm. Beautiful decor, treats, and gifts were inside the temperature controlled barn near an outdoor pumpkin store and even a small area for the littlest ones to pick their favorite tiny pumpkin. We brought friends for Christmas on the Farm, and everyone had a great time. We werent sure what to expect, but everything was organized and done really nicely while keeping a good pace. We started out with ice skating in the main admissions barn, followed by decorating cookies in Mrs. Claus' barn. She gave us lots of time as our 6, 4, and 2 year olds iced cookies, telling us about different things, reading stories, and engaging the kids. Next, we ended up in Santa's barn which was nicely decorated to look authentic. He told the older kids some fun tricks while slowly warming up my cautious two year old. Before long, he had gotten my son's attention by giving him fives and my son was in his arms at his tool bench helping him build a project with a toy hammer. SC spent a lot of time with our children which was a special bonus, and afterwards they got to participate in an "indoor snowball fight" and make reindeer food amongst other crafts. On our way back to the main barn, we picked up the fresh, hot cocoa and cider included in our admissions. We will be back to Nickajack for future events especially in the fall and at Christmas. The Christmas event just blew us away, especially for only $12 admission. If you're looking for fun for the younger set in the fall or an absolutely magical (or convincing) visit from Santa, look no further.

The Akron cop at the side of the room just sat there on his phone making part time but what do you expect from Akron Cops? At least he didn't open fire on the kid. 1 STAR -- Absolutely Horrible Conditions…read more This place was extremely disappointing and honestly heartbreaking. The animals did not appear to be properly cared for at all. The emu was confined to a tiny pen between two buildings, which was especially sad to see. The kangaroos and alpacas were also kept in very small, cramped enclosures. Several animals had dirty water, and the overall conditions made it seem like the animals' basic needs were not being prioritized. The lobby smelled strongly of cat urine and was extremely unpleasant. The cleanliness of the facility was unacceptable. The pony ride was also incredibly disappointing. We paid for a pony ride and got one lap around a tiny area. We were then charged separately for food to feed the animals. What bothered me most is that this is a business making money from these animals, yet the animals we saw did not appear to be receiving the care, space, cleanliness, or conditions they deserve. These are living animals, not attractions to be squeezed into tiny pens just to generate money. I left feeling genuinely sad and angry for the animals. They deserve so much better. I would absolutely not recommend this place. The conditions we witnessed need to be addressed, and the welfare of the animals should come before making money from them.
