Sara's kind, creative and stress free personality was fundamental to the wedding planning process during the days approaching the wedding, and during the day of the wedding. My husband and I don't know how we could have managed the whole day without her! As the wedding approached, I was starting a new job, and became overwhelmed with all the things that I had left to do. Sara came in to the rescue. She was very flexible and accommodated to my hectic schedule always greeting me with a big smile and a desire to help me. She also has a great taste, and very high standards so it was nice to count with her opinion about the decoration and the layout of the ballroom. I felt relieved to know that during the wedding day she would be there making sure everything is where is supposed to be. With an assertive, but friendly, personality I knew she was the perfect person to lookout for me during the wedding day. Her friendly personality was also perfect to act as the liaison between me and my wedding vendors team and my guests. During the day of the wedding, Sara was more like a member of the family. She went the extra mile to make sure I was enjoying the day. She told me where to go, what do do, and I did not have to worry about anything. She even had the initiative to create a throwing bouquet (from another floral arrangement) when she realized we were missing the throwing bouquet we purchased (it remains a mystery where the throw bouquet was). I didn't even realize this had happened until after the wedding! This gives you an idea of how perfect she will try to make your day. I recommend Sara highly. We were from out-of-state so Florida wedding vendors and logistics were beyond our expertise. We had several Zoom- meetings scheduled (1hr or more) planned around our schedule even if they were late into the evening. She promptly responded to any emails, texts, or any lingering questions we had during the process. Fernanda and her team were so organized in the process and provided us with wedding planning forms, a design meeting, wedding checklists, kept us on track into securing our vendors and making decisions, and even before we flew out for the wedding- we had our last walk through regarding the details. Stop hesitating or debating over whether you think you *need* a wedding planner....You NEED Abby! I found Abby in perfect time -- about two months before my wedding -- and she was a true God-send! Immediately from the start, she made me feel calm and made me feel like everything was going to be okay -- and it was! We sat down together about a month before the big day and we went through EVERYTHING together: who my vendors were, what I had for a schedule so far, what my vision was for the decor, what my vision was in general, my to-do list, etc. There were big holes in my wedding to-do list and Abby stepped right up to the plate. In recalling everything we did together before writing this review, I typed Merlene's name into my email search, there were 23 search results. Of those 23 emails, 3 had over 20 responses each. Merlene was THAT dedicated to keeping everything organized and tailored to our personalities. During our first consultation, Merlene explained very clearly what she could and couldn't assist with, and even offered services we hadn't even thought of. Our decorations, centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, arch, pipe and drape and even day-of planning were all taken care of by Merlene. When we lost our catering manager a month before the wedding and when we got reassigned a new entertainment consultant, Merlene was there to support us and keep us on track. She also coordinated very well with vendors with strong personalities. Everything happened on time and was flawless, even when the inevitable (rain in Miami) happened and the ceremony setup had to be moved inside 15 minutes before the wedding.
