So I came in on a Saturday afternoon around 12pm and everyone greeted me. It was fairly empty but became crowded after 12:30pm. I was seated immediately. . The first part of my nails were done by a male who is a bit more muscular than the other male employees (I don't remember his name). He simply removed my gel polish with acetone and let them soak in foil for a few minutes. . The second part of my nails were done by a female. She is older than the other females working there and has a rounder face and very nice white teeth lol (didn't catch her name). But she was very nice and kind. Another lady helped me pick out my gel nail color. They showed me this booklet with about 50 different shades which I loved because a lot of places don't have a wide variety. My nail tech complimented my nails and we made small talk which was nice. She was very precise and gentle with my hands. She gave me a nice 20 second hand massage after with lotion. . I will definitely come back! It is actually pretty inexpensive to me considering that I also had my gel polished removed by them as well. read more

I've been here four times for manicure and pedicure. Manicure's mostly been dipping powder with nail art. Amy's the best at nail art and even has samples of her work. The place and stuff they use is clean, the nail technicians are professional, and the price is reasonable. I am absolutely shocked at the low rating on here. Vivian is the most amazing nail technician I have ever had. In fact, from one visit, I have now officially changed my salon to Infinity and plan on getting biweekly gel manicures. I called on Christmas Eve at 12 pm. Christy's Nails in Trenton, understandably, did not have an appointment until 2:30 pm. Well, I needed to be seen within a half an hour. I had plenty of baking to do for dinner that night at my in-laws. A friendly gentleman who answered the phone assured me it would be no problem to take me and that I could come in at 12:30 pm. Once I arrived, I was promptly greeted and introduced to Vivian. She was warm and friendly and asked me what I was getting done. I advised I just wanted a manicure, with some red and gold to match with my Christmas outfit. She asked why I didn't prefer a gel manicure? I have a huge family and 35 people were coming over my parents the next day and I would be doing plenty of cooking, cleaning and baking. She said with a regular manicure, it would be chipped and damaged with all of that activity. I told her I was afraid of gel manicures because the one time I got one it burned very badly and they chipped and damaged my nails scraping it off. She assured me that it wouldn't burn at all and with the lamps she uses, I wouldn't feel a thing. I was still wary about the removal process and she explained that if I came back in two weeks, she would soak my nails for a good ten minutes and then the gel would come off easily. She advised the salon I visited didn't want to wait the ten minutes which is why they proceeded to hack half of my nails off. I was convinced so she did the gel manicure. She gave me this amazingly glittery, bling blinging gold color for the ring finger on both hands. I was complimented on my nails by both my in-laws on Christmas Eve and my family on Christmas Day. Vivian was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and went out of her way to find the gold polish for me, even though the salon was extremely packed. Please don't go by the negative reviews on here. Came in here for pedicures with mom because it was convenient and we were on a time constraint. The woman at the desk talked us into getting a "mango pedicure" for $40/each. The standard pedicure was $25/each, and the only addition to this mango pedicure was a salt scrub, hot towel therapy, and a mango scented lotion treatment. In retrospect, we were better off just getting the standard. Pros: - Manicurist doing my moms nails was very friendly! - Comfortable massage chairs. - Did a good job on my toes and came out with a satisfying pedicure Cons: - When I sat down to dry my toes, I saw someone being instructed to sit in the chair I was in - I don't recall them cleaning it out in between- YIKES! - Sat me down under the dryer and forgot to turn on the dryer... The real break it for this review - When I sat down to dry my toes, the same friendly woman that convinced us to get the mango pedicures was doing a manicure on a young woman sitting next to me. She asked the woman why she didn't speak English, and the woman responded saying "I don't know" and giggled shyly. She then asked the woman's son how old he was and if he was born in America. The boy said yes and he was 13 years old. The woman loudly exclaimed - "You've been here for 13 years and you haven't learned English?!" to the mom. She asked the son why he hasn't taught the mom to speak English. Then, she paused her manicure to check out someone at the register.... She came back and picked up right where she left off talking down to the woman. She "playfully" called the woman "lazy" for not to speak the language fluently. Although the woman laughed it off, I found this extremely condescending and unprofessional. If anyone is paying for services, they do not deserve to be talked down to for any reason what-so-ever. I sincerely regret not saying something to defend the woman, but at the time I did not find it appropriate. Thinking about it now, I wish I had. I firmly believe in this quote: "Never make fun of someone who speaks broken English. It means they know another language." I hope that this review makes you choose a place that doesn't belittle anyone or have biases that affect their interactions. I understand that this review is based on one staff member; however, I wouldn't go back to a place that is unwelcoming of anyone that does not speak a language fluently. read more

Always the best experience and nicest nails here. I got acrylics here in the fall, and dip manicures here this spring (photos attached). The dip is really long-lasting and my nails have grown significantly by getting it here (look at the length difference in the green & white nails after 4 weeks). The dip has never cracked or chipped at all, either. Can't recommend any higher. read more

Should have looked at the other reviews on yelp before I came here. Just wanted a simple pedicure and I couldn't get that. The service was classic rude nail salons where they don't answer simple questions like "do you have colored acrylic?" I tried to relax and enjoy it but the female that did grunted at me the whole time when my foot was alternating in and out the bowl. To add insult to injury once I got up I looked at the polish like I could have done this at home. And I posted pics so you can see the quality. Went in today to get a refill only two people working, when I asked how long the wait would be, no one could answer me all I got was leave your number we will call you. Oh you can go shopping first. Went in to get a full set of acrylics and ended up with the worst set I've ever had. None of my nails were even and the acrylic was sloppy and had bumps. Not sure of the name of the woman who did it, but would not recommend and will not be going back. *update* Against my better judgement I went back again. I had a broken nail from a set I had done else where. I thought what's the worst that could happen while trying to get ONE nail fixed. After I signed it they took 3 other customers who came in and signed in after me. I went in to get a SNS manicure and all was fine until the service started. I sat down and he filed my nails and then began to paint. I stopped him and asked if he was going to give me a manicure first and he said that's not included in the service and it would be extra. I've been here many times for the excellent therapeutic massage services from Becky. She has been great fantastic and love her hands, which is better than an experienced physiotherapist. The review here is for this provider and not for the the establishment itself. She applies the right amount of pressure on the body and the problem areas are given the necessary attention, unlike other locations where they keep doing the same thing over and over again. It is necessary that you communicate with her before the start for the amount of time that she needs to dedicate and the pressure that must be applied. I've introduced my wife and she goes to Becky for facial, foot spa and other services, and have been totally happy with her experience as well. read more

My friend and I came here and the salon itself is beautiful, it looks like a spa but in a mall. There were a few things that threw me off. First was the fact that all acrylic nail shapes except for square and round were an extra $5. Second all of the nail polishes are old and random ass brands. They didn't shape up my real nails before they put the acrylics on. I got normal polish because gel was an extra $15, but they kept trying to pressure us to get gel and told my friend how she'd regret getting normal polish. When it came to the guy who did my nails, he did a horrible job. Their all different sizes and shapes. The polish bubbled while it was drying, and he kept nicking my skin when he was cleaning up the nail. Don't even waste your time and money here, definitely not worth it!!! read more

Humiliating experience. No hot water during pedicure. My toes were numbing. I requested boiled water to make the water in the basin warmer. Noone acknowledged my request but obviously heard me because the manager eventually came out with boiled water... but it was given to 2 white women who came after my friend and I! Unacceptable! We never got any hot water despite asking several times. At the end, the manager became rude and made a scene in front of other patrons. Totally embarrassing. Never ever ever again. This is by far the worst nail salon I've been to in a while. Not only did it take hours for my nail guy to do my simple manicure and pedicure, it turned out horrible. My toes look worse than how they looked when I walked in (which weren't bad at all) and my nails look like my five year old did them. After a long day of work, I decided I would treat myself to a nice mani/pedi. This place is ok if you only have few options. The two ladies who did my nails appeared to be new and spoke little English. That was ok but the one performing my mani barely filed my nails and was sloppy with the gel application which I had to coach her on. I did like the fact they cover each bowl in plastic before your service but that's the only special treatment you will receive without an up charge. read more

I stopped in for a gel manicure on a Thursday around 5. I was already at the mall and time was tight, so I gave it a try. A young man did my gel removal and polish- notice I did not call this a manicure!! He used the dremel very aggressively , then put a drop of acetone on very small pieces of cotton and wrapped each nail. As soon as the last bail was wrapped he removed the foil from the first nail and tried to scrape the polish. He used the dremel again til my nails were hot, then wrapped in the same foils without more acetone! When he drilled off the last of the polish he told me to wash my hands. He started to apply base coat. I asked about cuticles and he said "cuticles fine". Long story short-- within 5 days my nails were breaking and peeling. The signs say they will fix a problem within 3 days. I feel that he drilled so much of my own nail off that I will need to keep them super short until the damage grows out. The location is extremely convenient, but I will never go back. read more

The quality doesn't live up to the cost. My pedicure was supposed to be $25 but it ended up being $35 because they charge $10 extra for removing dead skin, which comes free with pedicures at any other nail salon. My toe nails chipped the very next day and the dead skin was still on my feet after paying the extra $10 to have it removed. I also didn't enjoy the pedicure because my nail tech didn't speak English and had to ask someone to translate simple questions like, "Can I change the color?". Worst nail salon in the state of New Jersey. The woman who helped me did an awful job. She made me bleed and kept on working even when I said ow. She did a sloppy job, kept walking away while working on my nails. My nails looked jagged and the paint job looked blotchy. I told her to redo my one nail and she made someone else do it, he took the time but he still had no clue what he was doing. I don't even want to go back to get them fixed... their acetone burns your fingernails, and they have no clue about the square and coffin look. Really disappointed and I hope you go somewhere else, other customers complained while I was there and they said they would never return. read more

The place is under new management and she seems to really want to turn this place around. They have so much opportunity here as there aren't too many nail salons at the mall and may be the only nail salon but I'm. It sure. The gel manicure (needed to get a soak and they soaked individually with foil and acetone as they didn't have the plastic covers) was okay, regular pedicure was just okay. My family member also had pedicure that was okay and they added service that wasn't included and was charged for it without being asked (new manager did the right thing and remove charge). They charge a 4% fee on top of the charge for the usage of credit cards!!! While I understand that the card companies do that as a customer I don't like to see it as an additional charge. Prices are not posted, they are currently understaffed, mediocre service, prices are subjective, they add a charge for using credit cards. I think if the owner listens to his customers & manager he can turn this place around. It's too pricey for service. Patrons will go elsewhere. Witt the additional credit card fee, patrons will tip staff less and therefore anger staff. read more

I am currently going to school in this area and desperately needed an acrylic fill so I sought out a new nail place. I wanted a weekday in the evening and the one spot I knew would have the later hours guaranteed was the mall. Nervous after reading some reviews, I went anyway and am very pleased I did so. Richen, 95% sure that was his name, the man who was my nail technician did probably one of the manicures I've ever had. Personality and manners is something that is VERY hard to find at nail places nowadays and I think a lot of us could agree with that and that's what made my experience even better. There are all of three good reviews for this salon. Clearly, they are not telling the truth. A friend and I went in to try it out, and had a very bad experience. They rushed us, making us sit before we chose a nail color. My friend was set on a regular manicure, but a technician made us both very uncomfortable by trying to convince my friend into a different, more expensive, service that she did not want. We had clearly come to get our nails done together, but they sat us on opposite ends of the salon so we could not talk to each other. My friend's technician put her nails in acetone and left her there for around twenty minutes while she walked around the mall and came back with food. They gave us trouble on the phone for coming in within an hour of their closing time, and yet they left my friend sitting there for twenty minutes? Makes no sense. We're never going back. read more

I experienced the worst customer service ever today, I come in for an appointment with my grandma, mother & sister. The heavier lady with brown hair & blonde highlights & glasses was unbelievable rude & rushed me into sitting down at the pedicure chair telling me to sit down while I'm obviously trying find my color (I wasn't even there for 5 minutes). So I asked to get someone else to do them, the whole time I'm getting them done she keeps walking back & forth looking at me with an attitude. This isn't the first time she was rude either. This place is terrible! My finger nails hurt so bad right now and the friend that went with me to get acrylics said the same thing. Our nail techs used drills on our NATURAL nails which they are not supposed to do & now our nails hurt and are super sore. My nail tech cut me many times with the drill and was rushing the entire time. This place is also very shady. When you walk in it looks fancy, but the reality of this place is awful. The nail polishes are all really old & look like they have been sitting there for ages. For a full set of acrylic nails they said it would cost $30 which seems fine, but they charge extra for certain nail shapes. They charge $5 unless you choose to get your nails rounded. The guy who did my nails also did not cut my natural nail or clean them up. He just added glue on my nails and put the fake nail on top. The nail polish was so old he had to go over it several times & the polish started to bubble up while drying. My nails hurt and they are uneven & different shapes. I asked for them to be rounded & they look way too thick and just horrible. It's actually embarrassing. They also made us pay BEFORE they applied the nail polish. My nail tech also told me that I would see the difference between regular polish vs gel since I chose to get regular. This was the worst manicure I have ever gotten.
