I recently got my bridge done by their new piercer Brandon and although i was in a rush, he was very informative and even gave me an information sheet and did a lot of measuring and now my bridge is looking great. Friendly and prompt service and my questions were answered. Also a lot of jewelry options but i stuck to titanium. i also appreciate this location is open almost everyday and open late so i can swing by after my workday.

Had to take it out today because I went to a different piercer to get a different bar and she told me I should take it out because of how crooked it was. The lady that pierced me was very nice and comforting but the quality and safety of what she did is not okay. And the tongue is a very serious thing to pierce and it should be taken seriously. I understand everyone makes mistakes but she shouldn't have let me walk out seeing how crooked it was. I've never left a review on a business before but this kind of thing is too important not to share. Everyone was very friendly so no issue on that.

The Tattoo shop is clean, the artists are top notch at their specialties , and they attack every session with a plan. My first tattoo from ShifuBlue was a memorial for the man who raised me, to be honest I was forgetting his face, the portrait that I received is the spitting image of the man who raised me and my relatives all get so happy when they see it. I almost puked when he told me how much it was, especially since I was paying cash I set the money down and walked out the door. I am in the Salon studio business. Even with him quoting me $150+ over the phone. I thought plus + what $? OK ,whatever ,I have to remind myself that the economy is different from a year ago from my last tattoo i.e. the cost. I am an overly generous tipper, so thankfully, I walked in with only a minimal amount of CASH , double the amount quoted because I DID intend on adding a few chochkies....not feeling bad , more feeling bamboozled, about giving him just a $25 tip. I felt bad for 30 seconds before I left. Eeeeesh Lordy this is a shot right to the kooter....lesson learned. Get a $$$ finished* amount ~ before the needle hits the skin. Dang it During the phone call I did ask him what his shop fee was and I was just told for the tattoo,I'm looking at $150 / $175 ... Call me I'll give you my dudes number in Encino, the most epic little shop with a rad vibes and of course, the tattoos are legendary I'm just gonna go on living my best life, but throw caution to the wind and get a solid price . The level of detail and thought she puts into every piece is incredible. Whether it's color work, shading, or fine detail--she just gets it. (Photos attached so you can see what I mean!) Willow is everything you'd want in an artist--super talented, easy to talk to, collaborative, and insanely patient. She really works with you to make sure your vision comes to life, and honestly, the end result has been even better than I imagined. Her attention to detail and ability to blend different elements into one cohesive piece is just next-level. The shop itself is awesome too. The whole environment at Sink or Swim is welcoming, friendly, and laid-back in the best way. Gary (the owner) sets a great tone, and all the artists follow suit. I've had people stop by mid-session just to compliment Willow's work--it's a super encouraging and positive place to be in. She didn't use clamps as you can tell in the picture, left my snake bites undeniably crooked. To top it off she took a $31 tip from me knowing she did a sh*t job. I reached out to her asking politely for a refund she basically told me that I HAD to go back to her to get it fixed and that she would not refund me my money. How on earth does she expect me to trust her with my body again? SHE ROBBED ME $150!!!!! Im taking the loss but NEVER AGAIN will I go back to her and I will warn others of her lack of professionalism.
