A few months ago, I had the need to find an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon. I'll save you the details however a tooth that had a root canal cracked and became infected. Fortunately, I met Dr. Gary Bhatti, owner of Infinity Dental. Dr. Bhatti is a very professional and personable guy. I can not say enough good things about him and his staff. While he is younger than I, he made me feel like we were long time friends. His staff made me feel like I was part of their families. Dr. Bhatti is a great guy, very professional but not pompous. He exudes confidence without being egotistical. He treated me like a contemporary not just a faceless patient. He has an intimate, cozy office with a staff who could not have been friendlier. The dental techs working with him are equally professional, very pleasant and personable. I also spoke with multiple oral surgeons, who I will discuss later in this review, I found Dr. Gary Bhatti through my online research. Dr. Bhatti spent six (6) years in the U.S. Army Dental Corps. The patients that I spoke with while waiting for my appointment loved him, which helped me like him right away. Unlike his contemporaries he did not charge for our consultation appointment. He spent more than 15 minutes getting to know me and only then did we get into the specifics of the procedure. All oral surgeons require a panoramic x-ray. I had one taken by one of the other dentists, discussed below, emailed to him, which he had reviewed prior to our first appointment. He had a good idea of how intrusive the infection was and what needed to be done. He explained the procedures and time frame and said he could get me in right away since my tooth and gum were infected. We discussed costs, which included the necessary crown. His fees are substantially less than the other dentists that I met with, which did not include the crown. Due to the infection Dr. Bhatti was able to schedule an appointment for the next week. Phase one of the procedure took less than 60 minutes. He removed the fractured tooth, packed the hole from the extraction as required for an implant. The pain was minimal. I got home around Noon, took a nap. At four pm I took an 800 mg Tylenol and by six pm there was virtually no pain. I took Tylenol, twice a day, for the next two days and had no pain. Prior to selecting Dr. Bhatti, I interviewed three other oral surgeons, which were all disappointing experiences - The first surgeon, in Winston Salem, charged ~ $600.00 for a consultation and panoramic x-ray. I was given a consultation appointment two months out, and my out-of-pocket cost would be $600.00. - The second group could not get me in for a consultation for 4 months, with an out of pocket of $650.00, for the same consultation and panoramic x-ray. - Neither of these two oral surgeons would give me an estimate of the costs until I paid for the consultation and panoramic x-ray. - Finally, I called my insurance company which, to get the name of an oral surgeon "in their network". The consultation appointment was made for three weeks out. The consultation and x-ray costs were $600.00; however my out-of-pocket cost would be $275.00. The insurance company paid the rest. I chose to meet with this oral surgeon. I was ushered in to an office by a technician, who asked basic health questions prior to taking me in for the panoramic x-ray. A few minutes later a young man, the dentist, rushed into the office, looked at the x-ray, explained the procedure and left within 5 minutes. I was then led to a business clerk who gave me a list of procedures and charges. From start to finish I spent approximately, 5 minutes with the dentist, 15 minutes with the dental tech, and 10 minutes with the business clerk. The total charges would be approximately astronomical, not including the cost of the crown. I asked a few questions and was told that my out-of-pocket costs would be staggering for the oral surgery but not the crown. When I got back to my office, I reviewed the charges with my insurance company, which left me with more questions than I had before. I called the dental office and asked for clarification on the costs and procedures and was given less than satisfactory answers. Fortunately, I was able to find Dr. Bhatti. In addition to the things written above, The total time to complete the procedure with him was four months, while the time quoted by the other doctors, was closer to twelve months. While I began the process with some trepidation, I can say that I had little to no pain. The procedure was completed much quicker than I expected at a cost that was acceptable. I highly recommend Dr. Bhatti. I'm from Arizona and the South is something different and this dentist if you are of color, I would highly suggest you not to go here or maybe you guys do things differently out this neck of the woods, I worked in a dr office for 7 years in Arizona and I know that we didn't treat our patients like this dentist does I went there twice not good experience at all my daughter and I went inside the office 10/30/2025 my daughter is PA she tried to speak to the front desk clerk ,she tried so freaking hard not to say anything ,to her she tried speaking to her ,NO response ,she tried asking her about her costume no response ,so I finally told her to leave her alone clearly she didn't want to be bothered by us , but the problem with this whole experience is it was a blk young lady there first and we came in and another blk woman came in and then this wht guy then 2 other wht lady came about 30 to 40 minutes after we did and then a Indian guy came in all after we did ,EACH and every one of them went back to see the dentist before we did ,so saddened so when you go to the dentist or doctor they usually ask you about any other health problems and are you on any other type of medication this dentist office never asked me anything of the source ,so my daughter PA kick in she asked me did they ask me any questions about my medication and health past or present ,I simply told her no . They took be in the back getting ready to put my tooth and wanting me to sign a waiver ,and I didn't if I signed that waiver I really didn't think I would have made it out that dentist alive ,I didn't sign anything and would never ever return to this office, I don't know if this is the way they do things out here in North Carolina ,but I'm from the West and this is not how they conduct business out there .This a very terrible experience for me. read more

I took my son in for an emergency visit due to his front teeth were knocked out while playing basketball. The staff and Dr Bhatti were very nice and were able to get my son taken care of quickly with a root canal and temporary crowns. We returned to get permanent crowns, and they look great, my son is satisfied with his smile now. Horrible care, money hogging dentist who was rushing so much that his drill hurt me, and he didn't bother to apologize (bleeding all over myself - not an exaggeration) - just stuck some gauze under my tongue, and tried numerous times to upsell other dental services, i.e., a bridge. And to top it all off, the staff were rude and unhelpful. It was McDentistry beyond belief. Absolutely the worst dentist experience I have ever had in all of my 62 years. Period. read more

I had all-on-4 zirconia implants on both arches done by Dr Bhatti. He did a phenomenal job fitting the implants with perfection!!! My mom went to this so called dentist while I waited in the car for 3 hrs to find out he was so busy playing around with his staff her novacain wore off six times and she received 6 shots. Dentist office is very busy but it's worth the wait! Dr Bhatti is very nice and explains everything so worth going here. The waiting room is all ways busy when I go but that's a good sign of a great dentist! And the wait is always fast! Staff is also terrific super friendly and top notch they really helpful in fitting you in an emergency comes up like what happened with me. I had a very painful toothache over the weekend and emailed them on a Sunday I was in their office that Monday! Dr Bhatti gave me options and explained what he needed to do I was very nervous about having my tooth pulled. The crazy thing was I didn't even know when it started I was done, came back weeks later for my implant. not good at all, has no real hygienists just assistants, assistants scale teeth and use the cavitron, dr has an attitude, only in it for the money, panoramic x ray machine is broken i got one done a few months ago and the assistant had to hold the stick in place because it's broken off, she also had to shut the door with a screwdriver, i asked her why she had a screwdriver and she ignored me. dr also lies about treatment so he can make more money. instruments are dirty and not actually sterilized. read more

I am so happy with the experience and excellent care I received from Dr Bhatti. My tooth implant surgery was so much less scary and painful then I expected and the crown looks and feels absolutely perfect!!!!! Everyone is very friendly and communication was top notch. I had an emergency wisdom tooth extraction done by Dr. Bhatti in mid-March on a Sunday afternoon. I was in so much pain I couldn't sleep, so getting the extraction was my focus. After extracting two teeth, He gave me some gauze and told me what things to avoid doing for three days. No follow up visit was scheduled. After about 6 weeks, I called and set an appointment because there was still some pain at the bottom, though things were generally healing. They asked me to come in at twelve. I got there and waited an hour. When he finally saw me, all he did was put on gloves and check around my mouth where I told him I still felt pain. This was in the OFFICE, not in the examining room. He popped out a bone spur, told me they were common, gave me a prescription, and said call if there were any issues. He didn't charge me for the visit, but I can already feel another bone spur under the gum line. These people are polite but far from warm, skilled but far from thorough. He got the teeth extracted for sure, but thoroughness, attention to detail (as mentioned in the other reviews), and a general care for patients (as mentioned in other reviews) past the work doesn't seem to exist there. I got this work done in an emergency and only followed up with them because I paid them for the work and should be able to go back if work wasn't satisfactory. I'm still not satisfied with the work, but at this point if I'm going to pay for dental work, I'm going to pay my normal dentist who I know, trust, and most of all, enjoy the warmth and professionalism of her practice and staff. When my excellent dentist passed away in Winston Salem, I sought a practice closer to home and came upon Infinity Dental. My experience there was absolutely terrible. Apparently, upon the passing of original owner, Dr. Wear, Dr. Bhatti purchased the practice. Now, where to start? 1. My first hygienist used a novel way to clean my teeth with poor result. She spent most of the time telling me that I needed extensive work based upon the x-rays that she had taken. When I complained about the cleaning, Dr. Bhatti assigned me to another longstanding hygienist who was excellent. 2. At the time of the first cleaning, Dr. Bhatti appeared but did not examine my teeth. He told me that I needed to have a bridge replaced. It turned out the he recommended several more crowns and a new 3 tooth bridge. At the time of my next visit, I asked him why I was not told by him at my initial visit about the extent of the work needed, he said that he did not want to overwhelm patients. 3. I went ahead and had a three tooth bridge replaced. There was a problem with the new bridge and Dr. Bhatti, to his credit, ordered a new one without further charge. I was pleased with the result. 4. I then was given an estimate by a staff member of further costs and after weeks went by, the office had not confirmed that my insurance company would cover the new costs. Finally I inquired in person with poor result I never heard definitively from the practice about the insurance. 5.When I later asked for an insurance estimate, I noted that the recommended bridge would cover five teeth rather than the three I was told about, with significant additional cost. I was never informed by Dr. Bhatti of the change. 6. My appointment times were rarely prompt wasting my time with long waits. 7. Dr. Bhatti is apparently trying to squeeze in as many patients at one time and was constantly running in and out during my dental work. 8. Having lost confidence and patience, I returned to the successor of my former dentist in Winston Salem before which time I signed a form to allow Dr. Bhatti's office to send a copy of my x-rays. 9. When I arrived at my appointment, I learned that the x-rays were never sent. The new office however was able to receive most, not all, of them on the spot. 10. The new dentist thoroughly examined my teeth and mouth including checking for cancer and concluded that the bridge that Dr. Bhatti had fabricated was necessary, but not urgent. He went on to conclude that NONE of the additional work was called for. So, patents beware, while Dr. Bhatti is a skilled dentist, he apparently needs money desperately leading him to advise work that is not required. and to double or triple book. On top of all of the above, his practice is totally disorganized. If properly run and if Dr. Bhatti stops prescribing more work than is needed, his practice would greatly improve. read more

I don't know anyone that enjoys going to the Dentist. If you have to go then Infinity Dental is the place to be. When you first arrive you are greeted by Evie's smiling face and you feel right at home. Next you will see Angela (office manager) who also makes you feel right at home. After that you will see one or more of the following: Katelyn, Makenzie or Suzie all Dental Asssistants. They will make you feel very comfortable. There is also sweet Amy (Hygienist) who will clean your teeth like nobody other. Finally you get the man himself Dr. Gary Bhatti DDS. I started at Infinity Dental back in Dec. 2019, maybe the last week in Dec. I should have known then bc they tried to charge me two co-pays 2019 &2020. Although the procedure (root canal) is 2 parts!!!.. Gurvinder S. Bhatti began working on my mouth, with such was an arrogant demeanor from the start..l wasn't happy with his services nor his attitude .. He was trying to rush the root canals and one fell out!! He showed no empathy or reassurance that the tooth wouldn't still give me problems!!? It went from bad to worse & he took no responsibility, instead point the finger as if it wasn't his fault for the job he himself did!! Now the tooth has an abscess.. My mouth & jaw are swallowing &?Of course he took no responsibility instead threw a tantrum and went pouting in his office bcc I complained about services rendered. You will find him running from room to room in a cramp space, never giving any patient his attention for more than 10 min, 15 the most.. No wonder the service is awful!! Run!!!! A bunch of "used car" salesmen!!! Even tried to sell me a plan over the phone before even seeing me, then once there, kept referring to the wrong tooth. I went there in so much pain and they did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to help me. Only took my $200 and sent me out the door-still in pain!! They said that cleaning was part of the $189 package, but after x-raying my whole mouth (I was only complaining about the bottom right molar) and spending all of 20 seconds with the doctor, they did NOTHING to help me (didn't even clean my teeth-which was part of the "package")! And had the gall to say that I needed a deep cleaning that would cost a Thousand dollars, then just sent me out the door... They wouldn't even give me 2 cents back when all they did was radiate my whole head. I would never refer anone there!!! Is ok practice, Dr. Bhatti seems to know teeth. But for what it cost to see a dentist, your practice should be outstanding. No talking in front of patients about how-to....please. Work on these, get straight before opening in mornings. Being new place, need to have some extra time just as staff to work out the quirks. There is much room for improvement here. It is not a friendly atmosphere, which is super important for dental office. Your employees, including the girls up front should always be welcoming with a smile. Many people really dont like going to the dentist, so making a point to be friendly and genuinely intersted in the patents(customers) is super important. Also I feel staff is young still, so in time hopefully they will become more aware. Last cleaning I had here, definitely was not much of cleaning. I felt as though my teeth were still dirty. Like they were not smooth or buffed clean. Idk what is up with that, 1st time I ever experienced that at any dental appt.. As I said before seems to be a younger staff with room to improve. The new dentist and staff leave a lot to be desired at this practice. I went to Dr. Wear my whole life, and LOVED his staff. They took care of me and my family. The new staff and dentist actually spoke poorly of the old staff WHILE working on my mouth! I also heard the way the new dentist spoke to the old staff, and he most certainly is not a nice person. I loved Dr. Wear who was the previous owner of this business. I never had a problem in 30 years with him or his staff, but it has been constant frustration trying to work with Infinity Dental. Their computers are never working properly, they don't return emails they do not follow up with me, they have not followed up on my requests and I guess they never even considered that calling me was an option. I have even been back again in person and they said they would take care of me. Still, no action and not even a return call or email. Also, when I did see the new dentist he had -0- social skills with me as a patient. He never even cracked a smile. He talked dental language to his assistant and then after he left the assistant translated to me what he had said. I am so disappointed in this dentist and the staff. Dr. Wear has been my dentist since I was a child and I have taken my children to him for 19 years. I am not impressed with the new ownership. Very chaotic, seemed only interested in talking me into expensive treatment plans. Thank goodness for one familiar face at today's visit! Hate to say it, but I'll be in the market for a new dentist. If you are looking for the establishment that was here prior to Infinity Dental look elsewhere. This is not a "family" dentist anymore. The dentist himself, Dr Bhati, verbally attacked me over a past due amount in the office managers office while the door was open. My own children, who were in the waiting room heard him yelling at me and discussing my personal business loud enough for his entire office to hear. The dentist who priorly owned this establishment would be mortified if he knew how he spoke to me and belittled me for not being able to pay the overcharged balance immediately and blamed me for his office staff (which has changed over several times--which already says something) did not follow through with the payments they were supposed to process and lost my information. Very hateful, disrespectful, and rude. I will be contacting a lawyer about him violating the Privacy Act under HIPPA. Super unprofessional. It was all about him. Shameful! read more
