They do meticulous work and i like that they make there own caps in house. They dont hesitate to get them perfect for fit and color. They never surprise me with hidden cost. Friendly Dentistry is a fitting name for this place. I've been coming here for about two years now and this is the best experience I've had with dental practices. Each individual here is welcoming and personable; they remember you and make an effort to make a connection. The staff is an absolute joy and Dr. Burton is an excellent dentist and I always look forward to my next visit (who would've thought!). So I've had the pleasure of coming to this dentistry 4 times in 2 weeks (I'm sure my wallet appreciates losing some weight) and they were phenomenal! I can confirm my experience at this dentistry is the norm and not a lucky-one off day with the few employees that care about customer service. When you first sign up they send you a survey. It's pretty lengthy but that's because they genuinely care about your answers. I put on there I like to hear helpful tips to keep my teeth clean and sure enough as they were working on my teeth they'd tell me some pointers. And they had nice relaxing music playing subtlety in the background. What I really like about this place is that they know you're nervous, uncomfortable, etc. going to a dentist. You're only there a few times a year or maybe even held off going for years but they still treat every patient with a smile and they seem grateful you chose them. You'll never feel like a burden or just another patient they gotta deal with during a long shift. Overall, I highly recommend this establishment and if I ever hear a friend or family member looking for a new dentist I'm recommending this place to them. Do not be fooled by the name 'Friendly'. This business is focused on upselling as much as possible and providing excessive services. If you're looking for a standard cleaning - go elsewhere. Friendly will demand you get 2 appointments so that they can 'assess' what kind of cleaning you need, make you pay ahead of time, and not take your insurance. Someone else I know went to Friendly for a routine procedure and they demanded he get additional XRays that he didn't need, just so they could charge for them. There are other practices in the area that are more ethical and focused on optimizing for the needs and health of the customer, rather than their own bottom line. read more

New to the Greensboro area and based on available reviews, my family chose Family Dentistry for our dental care Beautiful location and truly "friendly" staff - but very suspect in driving up costs not covered by dental insurance. My husband was told he needed a multi- treatment deep cleaning to address gum issues. The cost? $800 and not covered by insurance.b He had a history of gum issues and bought the story hook, line and sinker. My first cleaning was not covered by insurance because annual allowance had been used up, had to pay out of pocket for that. They said they had checked my insurance policy before I went for the appointment. , but somehow advised m to come for cleaning and very expensive panoramic X-rays. Then my son went for a cleaning while home from college in December or Jan. 2019/20 All good, except need to have wisdom teeth extracted based on X-rays. Six months later, and the day before wisdom tooth extraction (referred us to an oral surgeon), he went in for a cleaning. They refused to clean his teeth because somehow in 6 months he had developed "advanced gingivitis / gum disease!" Guess what? He needed the $800 multi part deep cleaning treatment that was not covered by insurance too! I have to say we felt scammed. This kid had been to the dentist every 6 months for his whole life, never had a cavity. To believe that he had miraculously developed this serious gum condition in 6 months was a stretch. Granted, away at college he may not have been taking the best care of his teeth, but really? We had quite a heated discussion with Dr Ribando who treated us very rudely and called my son derogatory names. In fact, he told us not to come back! He also insinuated that if I gave them a bad review, "slandered them", that he would see me in court! The next day my son had his wisdom teeth extracted and returned to college, no time for cleaning and couldn't for several weeks after the extractions. He came home for the holidays this year and went to a different dentist. Highly reputable and recommended by a dental hygienist friend of ours. Guess what? No gingivitis or gum disease! Perfect exam and cleaning! I feel totally scammed by Friendly Dentistry. Beware of pricey add ons. read more

Allison the scheduler is AMAZING!!!!!!! She makes the clinic a worthwhile place to clean your teeth and all other dental needs. She follows through and makes sure you are able to get an appointment and also ensures that treatments and procedures are done with your convenience in mind. If you have money to throw away -- go to Friendly Dentistry. I paid $400 for a first visit - I got nothing, not even a cleaning. They took x-rays (even though they were given six month old X-rays from my previous dentist!) and then said I had deep pockets and needed to see another dentist. I've known I had deep pockets for years and they were always maintained at my old dentist. Said she couldn't clean my teeth - but took my $400! My wife and I went together and she got x-rays AND her teeth cleaned for $400. They could never explain to me why I got charged the same as my wife who got her teeth cleaned and I didn't. These people are sharks - if you have money you don't need or want, go to Friendly Dentistry, they'll be happy to take it from you . . . for nothing. In addition, as I write this review it's been 7 weeks since our visit and they STILL haven't submitted our insurance - but made sure they collected $800 in cash before they let us in the door the first time. I had a chipped tooth that made me look like a hillbilly. I was extremely nervous but Dr. Brittney Blue and Sara, the Dental Hygienist put me at ease. I repeatedly asked the same question over and over yet she was so patient with me. Can honestly say I was blown away by their professionalism and care. We recently switched to Friendly Dentristy when both my husband and I were having ongoing painful dental issues that our previous dentist was not resolving. My husband was in extreme pain and they got him in the same day for an exam and within days quickly resolved a situation that was becoming very serious. I was in more mild discomfort, left a message over a holiday weekend, they called me back first thing monday morning, i was seen on tuesday, and received a crown on that wednesday. they are professional, thorough, and make sure i am in comfort throughout a long procedure. everyone is very friendly and warm. we highly recommend! read more

After visiting Friendly Dentistry a few days ago, I must say that I am extremely glad that my husband found their office on Yelp! Dr. Wilkinson was gentle in examining the painful area in my mouth and the staff there were super friendly and playful. The atmosphere there was warm and inviting. After visiting my regular dentist because I was in pain the night before, I left his office feeling hopeless and in more pain than before my visit. He sent me out the door in pain with no antibiotics and told me there was nothing he could do for me but refer me to a periodontist that happened to be next door to their office. I agreed and they set me up with an appointment for a month away. After leaving their dental office, hurting, especially after my dentist measures the amount of bone loss in the infected tooth, my husband suggested that I get second opinion, and so he found Friendly Dentistry on Yelp. They concluded after taking x-rays and examining my mouth that I do have an abscess and that is below the gum line. My chin and gums were swollen and very painful to touch! They were very friendly and gentle with my mouth. I was in excruciating pain, but thanks to Friendly Dentistry, I am being treated for my infection and I have an appointment with them to do a root canal after my infection is gone. I keep thinking how much pain I would be in if I had not gotten a second opinion. read more

This is an unsolicited review. They are great, I had to switch dentist due to the death of my previous one and boy am I lucky I found these guys. I'm sure they are not the cheapest in town but when your teeth are hurting price is not the driving factor. This is a state of art facility and they treat you with care and respect. My first appointment at Friendly Dentistry was easily one of the best health care experiences I've ever had. For one thing, I went in for a (very thorough) check-up and x-rays as well as a cleaning, and I received a free custom whitening kit as a first-time patient. More importantly, the service was prompt and friendly - I got in to the exam room right away and was "treated" by Leann and Dr. Semones, who were both courteous and professional. The periodontist and hygienist did a great job as well. The whole experience was very efficient. They sent my forms electronically so that I could fill them out in advance, and they even took my credit card payment and scheduled my next exam before the cleaning even took place. The hand written, personalized "thank you" card that I received just a day or two after my appointment was a nice touch as well. read more

Amazing care!!! I never thought I would love a dentist, but the dentists and staff at Friendly Dentistry are the best in the industry. Their kindness, care, skill, and compassion have helped me overcome crippling dental anxiety. The administrative team are patient with my obstinate insurance company and have worked with me to explain codes and billing and file appeals when necessary. I have suffered with PTSD and dentists for many years due to multiple jaw surgeries and over a decade of orthodontic work, so I didn't go to a dentist for 12 years. I have been so worried about any issues that might be developing and finally decided that I needed to work through the anxiety and get to a dentist! I looked up reviews and Friendly Dentistry was always #1. When I arrived, I was greeted by a wonderfully friendly staff member named Terri, I think. She shook my hand and made me feel very welcome. She got me checked in and shortly after I was greeted by Jennifer, a dental assistant. Let me just say that Jennifer is a true gem and a valuable asset to the team. She was absolutely amazing, the type of person I would consider a fast friend. Not only did I not feel judged or bullied about not having been to the dentist in so long, but she patiently listened to my concerns and was sure to write everything down in my file, so that after x-rays and a thorough exam, the hygienist who was going to clean my teeth already knew about an area of sensitivity. My hygienist (I forgot her name, but she was also wonderful!) was gentle and efficient, and was very complimentary with how great my teeth looked. Dr. Wilkerson wanted to take plenty of time for me to sit with him to go over the list of my concerns and goals for optimal tooth health and for a tiny chip in a tooth I'd like to have fixed. They have cutting edge technology and being a curious person, I got to see a lot of cool stuff with my teeth and jaws. I can't say enough good things about this experience. I didn't have anxiety once! My teeth look great; I even received a free teeth whitening kit custom molded for my teeth as a new patient, an excellent perk.
