"I can't believe someone did that to your hair"-- said the hairdresser I had to go to in order to get my hair fixed, spending more money on top of the $200 I spent at Industry Hair Loft a few days before.
I've been to this salon a few times before, and I've always been pretty happy with how my hair turned out. I decided I wanted my hair a little lighter, so I made an appointment about a week before I was set to leave for Mexico. I showed her a few pictures of what I wanted -- slightly lighter than honey blond, with some natural highlights. What I got was an ashy white dye job with very UNnatural looking streaks through out.
When I texted Holly that night to say that I wasn't sure I was happy with my hair, and I wondered if I could come back to get it fixed, she told me not only that this ashy white hair color was what I asked for (it was not), but that if I were to come back I would have to pay the full amount for an additional dye job! She told me she was booked 3 weeks out, and that if I really was unhappy that I should get a color toning shampoo (no suggestion for the brand or type even...).
Eventually, I booked an appointment at another salon and got my hair to the place that I wanted... $400 later. I can say that I definitely will not be going back to Industry Hair Loft any time soon. read more
