The UGG bedding line that is offered here kept me so warm all winter and the materials were so soft that I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. I highly recommend Indulgence Bedding by Nikki! read more

What!? Zara has a home!? How did I not know this?…read more Well, now I do. And so do you. Zara Home! After a lovely Sunday roast at nearby Holly Bush, we were slip sliding our way down the slope and ran smack dab into this spot, with red tape and "SALE!" screaming at me. Well of course, let's have a look...shall we? It's got a lot of home goods (think frames, linens, towels, knick knacks, nursery items, etc) and a random assortment of pajamas, face masks and slippers. We scored two quite nice bathroom rugs for about 12 quid each (half off!) and were quite pleased. I don't think I'd go way out of my way to pop in...but if you have a chance, this chain might do you good for some of the basics in bedding, etc. *this location does NOT have furniture. *steps from Hampstead tube station.
Really cute stuff and it has pretty good prices compared to high street stores & designer brands…read more The shelves are crammed full of photo frames, candles, linens, and other random home decor items. Be sure to check the back corner on the left for markdowns and sale items. My one complaint: the store is tiny! Would love to see what else they could bring in with a little more space.

When we entered the store, the owner greeted us and involved us in a conversation right away. He explained to us that all clothes are made in East London and that the style is inspired my traditional Islamic fashion. I ended up buying a pair of trousers and have been wearing them on many occasions since. They're informal, very comfortable and...for lack of a better word...unusual.

Their jewelry, especially, tends to catch my eye - they have just the sort of stunning, but unusual pieces that make you look twice. This tends to be one of my go-to places when I need a gift, but am not exactly sure what I'm looking for - I'm bound to find something here that is both unique and remarkably suitable. It's a veritable goldmine in terms of the distinctiveness and variety of the items they carry; from dazzling lamps, to fragrant soaps, to curious and intelligent trinkets - there's really something superbly aesthetic to be found here for just about anyone. And happily, especially if you're on the hunt for a gift, even though some things may give you sticker shock - the prices do run the gamut... so you're also likely to come away with *something* that doesn't devastate your budget.
I loved this shop. #YelpLondonRainbow #indigo
Ahh, oui, oui mon petit pois!…read more Little Paris makes me want to spout Del Boy French purely to combat the pretentiousness of the store. It's a little twee shop in Crouch End, perfectly lovely and overpriced tat for the residents of the area. You know - candles, cushions, scarves, incense and, at the back, "antiques" or, as I prefer calling it, junk! No, I'm being harsh - there are some cool posters and when I was last in they had a brilliant old map of the world and an old-fashioned radio (not in working condition). The prices of the items, however, leave a lot to be desired, but perhaps those that choose to shop here have more money than sense. I'm pretty sure that's the case, anyway. Mange tout!
