Always a perfect stop before a show in Downtown Jax and last night was no exception. Food, service and atmosphere on point and even my very picky ordering last night was greeted with love and acceptance! Recommend the Ginger wok dish add shrimp... tasty with fresh ginger, mushrooms, celery onion and pepper .. I swear there were 3 different kinds of ‍ in it... all bursting with flavor. Rice comes in the side. Everything was very yummy!

I ordered food to go and it was a short wait. I got red curry with chicken which was delicious. I also ordered a Thai tea without ice and I appreciate that they didn't water down the tea or give me less; the tea flavor was perfectly balanced and flavorful.

Last night we went to see a candlelight performance of the Music of Queen and More by a string quartet. After, we decided to go to Indochine for a late, light dinner. Parking can be tricky downtown. Meters are hard to come by. This night there were meters a block or so away but with my mobility, we needed closer. The lot next door charges $6.00 for 2 hours and while the sign says to get validated inside, The businesses do not validate. We paid, no biggie for a night out downtown. I love they have an elevator or I never would have made it up the stairs. I also love that the music level is at a level that one can easily have a conversation with your companion(s). I've been to Indochine many times, but it has been years since the last time. The interior, while appearing to remain the same as it always was, was still, clean, fresh and intimate. Our waiter quickly sat us and brought water. I had already decided what we'd order, since my husband had never been. We ordered Angel Wing, Thai chicken bites and Satay chicken. Our drinks arrived and they were generous on the pour, although pricey, imo. The Angel wing was super crispy and very flavorful. I enjoyed it, although my stuffing had two small pieces of gristle, that is a big NO for me and I was done with that. I'd had two large pieces already so wasn't upset. The Satay was tasty but dry and the peanut sauce was different than I remembered, and not in a good way. We used the delicious sauce from the Angel Wing on the satay and it improved the dryness. The Thai chicken bites were flavorful, Smokey with a little kick. Worth having again. Our waiter was very attentive and did a spectacular job of taking care of us. I look forward to going back and trying a couple of mains, but I'd definitely choose a different app. Like a summer roll and maybe share a Laab chicken salad.

Best Thai food downtown! Love that it's upstairs, gives a fun vibe. The food is great. We've only been for lunch. Sometimes they are out of some items but at least you know it's being freshly made. Everything is delicious. I love the curry. Service is pretty fast and friendly.

Hidden spot that is a must check out spot. It is located upstairs with the cutest atmosphere. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. I highly recommend to try the chicken satay and the fried banana dessert.

We had a really good time here. We stopped in before an event at the Florida theater and were seated right away. My husband really enjoyed the kaffir chicken and I had the pad Thai with beef and shrimp. The food came out really quick and was really fresh. The overall layout is different since it's a second floor restaurant but it works really well for them.

I try to bring my lunch to work as much as possible but when I don't I find myself at Indochine. I call in my order and then about 15 minutes later I walk in, pick up, and have a nice and tasty quick lunch for myself. I love the Chicken Satay! 5 delicious grilled coconut curry chicken skewers with a coconut curry dipping sauce. I like to add a tiny bit of their chili oil for a little kick. Indochine is a little hard to find if you aren't familiar with it. It's located on top of the old burrito galley. The stairs to the entrance are to the right of the old burrito galley entrance.

Its a little difficult to find this place with little signage. It's up a flight of stairs which can be daunting but a great reward once you are there. We were greeted and seated promptly. We ordered the Angel Wings; a dumpling stuffed fried chicken wing that was amazing. Mostly deboned, so crispy and bursting with flavor. Served with a Thai sauce. I ordered Pho with vegetables and Green Curry. My pho was so full of every vegetable and served with sauces, siracha, jalapeño, sprouts and basil to taste. The broth was deep, full of umami and he said chicken based. I ordered mine medium and the bowl was very generous. The green curry was creamy with thinly sliced beef served with rice. I love Thai and this place rates near the top. It was extremely hot and the stairs are my only reason for a slightly lower rating. Highly recommend.

So yummmm!!! Went here for a nice little birthday dinner and was so satisfied! The food was excellent and the flavor was not lacking anywhere! If you enjoy Thai food this is the spot for you! The service is great and the atmosphere of the place is chill! I highly recommend the Angel wing, the snapper and the soft shell crab!!!

Came here for lunch with the team and everyone enjoyed all the variety! From peanut dishes, drunken noodles and more... I enjoyed a green curry that has a great amount of chicken in it! My curry was a level 4 heat of 6 and wasn't very hot could have gone up easily but everyone said sometimes 4 is crazy hot others it's not, so be cautious! On addition to that ... The chili oil was a great add on and the server was great!

The food hit the spot... Reason for visiting: Date Night after Candlelight Concert Day & Time: Saturday at 7:30-8:45 Party of: 2 Reservations: none Order Type: dine-in Waiter: really nice guy wish I remembered his name Service: fast and friendly Ambiance: chill Food Order: -Appetizer: crab Rangoons -Drink: peach mango spritz- yummy, red eye- the best, green tea- does not come sweetened, sparkling water -Entree: chicken and shrimp Pad Thai (level 2 heat)- Perfection, the curry red snapper- delicious Portion Size: Reasonable Conclusion: The food is really good! The drinks are great too. The only things I hate are the fabric on the chairs and wooden chopstick for dine in use. The fabric It looks and feels dirty to me and the wooden chopsticks that they wash seems very unsanitary to me. I would for sure always get the food to go! The service was also fast and friendly.

My waiter was super wonderful and answered my questions about the custom sushi options. I am not a fan of sushi with cream cheese, avocado, or cucumber (and most places have one or the other in most rolls). I appreciated that I could make the sushi my own. Not pictured here was a salmon roll topped with salmon roe (I call it mother and child lol). The eel was also delicious, and I can't wait to return for a visit one day.

We decided to try somewhere new last Saturday night and were told about a 30-minute wait, which is usually a good sign as the place was packed. They took our number and texted us about 20 minutes later when two seats opened at the hibachi bar. Grabbing those seats was the best decision we made as we were entertained by both the hibachi chefs and the sushi station all night. The chefs were interactive, friendly, and clearly skilled at what they do. Our waitress, Jennifer, was absolutely on point, accommodating, polite, and happy to offer recommendations that did not disappoint. We ordered the shrimp tempura, bagel roll, and spider roll for sushi, along with the shrimp and steak hibachi, which she thoughtfully split onto two plates for us without even being asked. The sushi arrived first, beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. Soup and salad followed, then the hibachi entrée , all timed perfectly so we never felt rushed or overcrowded with dishes. The shrimp was fresh, the steak cooked perfectly, and the fried rice seasoned just right with herbs and spices that complemented the entire meal. Every part of the experience flowed from start to finish. A return visit is already in the works this month. Highly recommend this spot and major thanks to the employees for being at the top of their game! Truly a 5 star experience.

He mentioned wait times for tables, so I chose a Tuesday evening to try to avoid the crowds and it worked as I was immediately sat upon arriving. There are QR Menus on the table and my server directed me to view there. I spotted the Tokyo and was intrigued by the Ajitama Brûlée (signature torched seasoned soft boiled egg). What I Ordered: - Tokyo: For $16.95, I thought this was reasonably priced and excited to try as reading reviews raved about the umami flavor of their ramen. Without exaggeration, this was a life-changing ramen. The best ramen that I've had in my life!! The torched egg was genius and added a beautiful texture to the rich, and flavorful broth. The fried chicken thigh was a delicious protein and cooked so well. Honestly, every ingredient was crafted well and combined to make such a beautiful bowl. - Lychee Martini: What better way to toast to life, then with a martini! The popping bubbles were not my thing, but the flavor of the martini was delicious. I can see why many suggest trying it. This is my 1900th review on Yelp, and I couldn't pick a better place to review and RAVE about my experience. If you are in Jacksonville, RUN don't walk to this location for a stunning experience as it's a gorgeous location that is very cozy.
