I started with her at one salon before she moved to another salon. Not too long ago she opened her own salon! Welcome to the Jude Jett Salon! I greatly look forward to a wash and cut/trim every month! This salon has just recently started to grow with adding more space and more stylists. Unlike other salons, the chairs are spaced out here. It never feels crowded and you can take comfort in knowing that not everyone is listening to your gossip and stories. Of course I've experienced my haircuts every month for the past nine years, but I've also had the chance to see JJ cut/style other people's hair (women and men). She always does a spectacular job! If my hair was long enough, I could easily follow one of her other clients by saying, "I'll have what she's having!" One of the standouts for me is how you can tell that JJ really loves what she's doing. She practically dances around you as she cuts your hair and she always provides great conversation. These spots were fun, but I never felt comfortable going there and always felt out of place. Enter Scissorhands. This locally owned and operated salon is run by the very lovely Mona who has been in the hair business for years. Mona is so knowledgeable and wise when it comes to taking care of your hair and does a beautiful cut. She was the first hair stylist that taught me more about the best way to style my hair and shampoo my hair. I am now able to better take care of my hair and I'm not intimidated by it.
