I reached out to the salon to let them know what happened. I was not asking for a free cut, a refund, or anything beyond basic professionalism. My message was read, and I never received any response. That lack of acknowledgment or respect as a client was just as disappointing as the service itself. Mistakes happen, but how a business handles them matters. In this case, the complete silence spoke volumes and ultimately led me to update my review. Hair damage takes time, money, and effort to repair, and it is not something clients should be left to deal with alone after trusting a professional. A simple response, an acknowledgment, an apology, or even a conversation would have gone a long way. Instead, I was left feeling dismissed and unheard. I do not take leaving negative reviews lightly, but future clients deserve an honest account of my experience so they can make an informed decision.

To begin with, there is no waiting inside the salon. You have to stay in your car and call them and they will tell you when to come in so we already started on the right foot! The first thing you will need to do is use sanitizer when you walk in and put on your face mask. Everyone inside was wearing a mask so it felt even more comforting. Additionally, the stylists have their chairs set 6 feet apart to follow social distancing. Everything from the chair to the hair washing stations are sanitizer after each person is done. Kenzie Turk was my stylist and she was awesome! Great conversation without it being too much and she recommended some products but wasn't pushy like some other places! I will definitely come back!

I explicitly stated that I have blonde brows and very sensitive skin and I only need the dye for maximum 2 minutes. She said "it's a different kind of dye so we leave on for 5 minutes" and I said that's a really long time and I think we should do 3 minutes then. She agreed and then left and didn't come back and over processed the f out of my brows, giving me dark blocks on my face that's wayyy darker than my natural blonde hair on top leaving me looking crazy. And that was after I told her to take some of the dye off before I even left because I was unhappy. Please do not promise results that you cannot achieve and I will go somewhere else that can achieve the results that I need. Everyone else is nice it seems. That is my one caveat.

Obviously, this was a difficult experience. The young man did a superb job at covering my scar. I needed most of my hair taken off to match what the surgeon removed, and he was very good at checking in with me that I was happy with each and every step of the cut. He was able to cover most of my scar even though it's while large, and he took his time. I would definitely suggest for anyone looking for someone who is passionate and hardworking. I typically wear a wig full time, and I asked for a cut to go under it perfectly. Now, my wig that I wear full time looks better than ever and I'm comfortable at home. I agreed to let her coworker, Emily, take the appointment instead. Not only did Katie never apologize to me, she showed up at the time of my appointment, ignored me, and proceeded to color someone else's hair. When Emily finished, I found out she doesn't do makeup, although I was expecting her to because Katie told me she could, and Katie refused to do it because she was taking care of another customer DURING MY ORIGINAL APPOINTMENT TIME.
