Design perfection! Thank you to Norma for a 10 out of 10…read moredesign. From creating a mood board, to selecting the most comfortable furnishing, to working with me to find alternative options during our design meetings, the experience was truly enjoyable. On the sale side working with Evan, I loved the quick communication over text and the detailed invoices to review. He was always available for my questions or change updates. My only issue was there was no actual signed contract for our big project. This made my husband and I uneasy at times, but Living Modern has an amazing showroom that is not going anywhere anytime soon. You can put your trust in Evan and you can't do any better than Norma's design experience. I would absolutely recommend giving them your business. You will be in good hands!

But as someone who works in the industry, the markup is absolutely ridiculous that it's almost theft. And yes you definitely get what you pay for but you will pay $6000 for two side chairs. But Spruced made it easy, understanding our vision, goals, and budget and offering options to help us achieve them. The attention to detail from both the design and construction teams was great; they asked our preference on things I wouldn't have even thought of. And when we had change orders, they worked with us to come up with solutions. When issues came up, they made them right. The result is a kitchen that's much more functional and spaces that look and feel brighter and more like us. I'd definitely reach out to them again with future needs.

YHE actually should stand for Your Home Exploiter…read more I have only one regret in this life, and that is letting this company into my home. From the very beginning they rush you, make you sign something to only work with them (sketchy, red flag) and then they do mediocre work. They're going to take advantage of you and your home when you're in an emergency type situation. As immoral as they come. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. Find another company.
