This RV resort is incredible! We checked in Thursday evening at the reception desk. The ladies were exceptionally friendly and informative. Our welcome packet had everything we needed for the holiday weekend. She called for our escort and he showed up on a golf cart and even guided my husband onto the patio. Our 4 night stay turned into 10 day on multiple spot the facilities are great. It's central to Glen Arbor, the Dunes, traverse city and wineries on the peninsula. We rented the rustic cabin. No electricity or water or anything else. Opened the door and it smelled very musty. Should have marched right back to the office and asked for something else. Sleep on a wooden platform that did have a lower grade mattress. Sticky floor. That first night there was a critter under the cabin that kept me awake. They found nothing, but did see evidence of digging. I asked for my money back for nights two and three, but the lady at the desk said that she could not control the critters. Stay night two and then we were out of there. Never going back, EVER!! Don't waste your money. $80/ night for a smelly, nasty cabin. Go anywhere else, but not here'. read more

This was our second trip to Indigo Bluffs and it did not disappoint. This is a great campground designed for both families and friends in mind. This trip we traveled without our kids and enjoyed the amenities. Our niece and nephew visited one night for a campfire and they enjoyed the campground too. This is the perfect location for us to visit our family in Glen Arbor. We spent the week biking the Heritage Trail and visiting Empire Beach. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The showers are always clean. It was nice to see they added a second laundry facility. We have a travel trailer so we stayed in the general campground. Our site was 413 and the long back in with no problem getting in. Our escort, John, was fabulous. He helped us get set up and was always able to answer any questions. The store is convenient and the popcorn at check in was a welcome touch. Since we didn't travel with kids, we didn't pack smores supplies so the store being open until 8 was appreciated. We stayed two nights this past weekend. We enjoyed our stay. The campsite was BIG. It was double the size of what we are used to. The folks checking us in were very kind -- we are new to RV'ing. They asked if we wanted an escort. We did so a very nice gentleman escorted us to our spot and helped me back in. He even dropped off some wood for us. It is the end of the season -- it was not busy. I'd say it was *maybe* 1/3 full. They must have permanent trailer spots because we saw a number of trailers that were clearly not in use. We didn't have any noise issues like others complained. We weren't there for the food or the pool. We just like a level, large, site and this place had it. When we stay again, we will book one of the sites that has the paved patio. We brought our e-bikes and rode down to Empire to pick up the sleeping bear trail. It was a short 3 mile ride to town. The road was a little scary since there isn't a bike lane and it is 55MPH but most people moved over for us. One person was a jag and buzzed us but other than that, it was fine. Very pretty actually with the leaves changing colors. So, all in all, I really liked this place. We'll be back. read more

5 STARS to this RV Park. One of the nicest RV parks we have ever seen. Our site was just beautiful and so spacious up against the forest. (Site #435). We felt like we were all alone. The bathrooms were immaculate. The front office was one of the nicest we have ever run into. Ellen greeted us and was just the nicest! She was a tour guide deluxe, answering all our travel related questions for the area. Chris was extremely nice and helpful. Now the BAD PART. 0 STARS for the food truck that they allow on the premises for evenings. Absolutely astonishingly GROSS. Somebody call the Health Dept!. Filthy! Unsanitary! Dirty! Trashy! Hook this crap up and tow it out! EWWWWWWWWWW! How can such an absolutely beautiful and well run RV park allow this??????? read more

Started out as a 5 dropped to a 2 star. We have enjoyed this RV. park serveral times. Just stayed 5 nights. We wanted to stay an xtra night. They were full. Called last night at 5:00pm and a spot finally opened. We took it. Had to unexpectedly leave early and tried to cancel first thing in morning and Becky said a lot of people trying to rent that spot which clearly is not true. NO REFUND!!! 14 day policy. Even though we just made reservations 14 hours ago. They have all day now to rent. Don't like there policies. Will not ever stay again. Bye Becky :(. read more

Hands down the best campground we have visited in Michigan. Mature trees, large natural sites, quiet ambiance, and just overall everything you could want in a camping experience. Minutes from Empire Bluff Trail, Sand Dunes, Glen Arbor, etc. We will definitely make this a regular spot! read more

Great campground- so close to so many activities and beautiful areas (Sleeping Bear, Pierce Stocking Drive, Dune Climb, Glen Arbor/Glen Lake). Very nice facilities and variety of sites (full sun, partial shade, full shade). There is a separate gated area for the big rigs that is paved, has concrete pads and manicured landscape. Indigo Bluffs also has a few cottages for rent. Something for everyone. Pool is nice, bathrooms are clean, children's park is a bit barren and outdated. We loved it and look forward to returning. read more

Excellent RV Park. Top notch. Probably the best we've ever been to. The park itself has such a nice vibe and ambiance. Very clean, well maintained, and has great amenities. On top of that, the staff is incredibly nice and super helpful. All around just a great place to be. We've stayed at luxury RV parks for double the price, and it just wasn't as pleasant. Oh and it's minutes away from sleeping bear dunes and pyramid point. Love you indigo bluffs! read more

I wish there were more than five stars to give this place. We loved every minute we were here. The people: wow amazing customer service and make you feel welcome right from the minute you drive up. Office is super clean, nice, has the necessities you need. They deliver firewood ($6 a bundle). The pool and surroundings are beautiful. Well manicured landscape and just a great, relaxing place. The campsites are well maintained. They do a good job with tall, thin trees between the sites that give you enough privacy and provide some shade. Sites are crushed rock and some have cement slabs. Easy to level your camper. It was sooo quiet here even though we were here on a full night. Bathrooms are clean; old, but well maintained. You do have to pay for the showers. Location is ideal for any up north site seeing you want to do. We will be back!!! read more

We moved here after staying the first two nights at the State Park in Traverse City. The state park site was too small to accommodate our trailer even though they said it was. So we found this place on our way to Glen Arbor. It has grass! Larger and more spaced sites. Clean bathrooms. Golf Course across the street. Very convenient. Pool! They should develop it a bit more and get rid of the toilet paper bars in the restrooms that only allow you to take one or two squares at once. That is silly. Overall nice little place and we will be back! read more

Love this place as we come here every year. Sleeping Bear Dunes is one of my favorite places on earth. Larger sites than most campgrounds with many mature trees on the original lots. The newer phase is very nice and they even have some tent sites which is nice. Only downside that is a head scratcher is the showers are pay for time. I would rather tack on $5 to my rental and enjoy my shower rather than feel like I am in prison. Still 5 stars but hope they rethink the future strategy to continue to improve for our future visits. Side note. ... we traveled five hours to get here and forgot our gift card (Christmas gift) at home. They were able to figure it out and honor it! Life savers :-) read more

Very nice and friendly workers. Price is really high but so is everything around this area. Easy access to Traverse city, Glenn arbor and lots to do and eat. Very nice sites and love the concert for the patio. I do not like anything to do with the gravel roads. Dust dusty dusty but again I'm camping just for the price it should be paved. I also am grabbing to find something wrong cause it's really nice and would love to come back. Thanks oh also no drones but you can have a gas golf cart. Hmmmmm read more

We stayed a week here and was 6 Miles away from empire beach! Cute little beach that has both fishing and beach! It has 2 sides the RV resort & the campgrounds. The campground sites are small but the resort side is large. The playground is dated. The bathrooms are a dated but typical for a campground. The pool is nice, it has a laundry facilities. read more

The setting is pretty, the sites are well care for and facilities clean. I would give them a five, but stating they have wifi is quite an exaggeration. Yes they have it, and yes you can connect to it, but it is so slow nothing loads. Just an average campground, but overpriced. They can get it because of the area, but really, this is just a campground, not a resort. The site we had was nice, spacious and treed. The pool is just an average campground pool. The staff was helpful and polite, The grounds are well kept. There is a resort side to the campground with paved sites and better landscaping, and it's far costlier than the campground side, which as I've said is overpriced. read more

WiFi is very poor and campsites are too close together. Barking dogs and screaming kids did not make for a restful vacation . No tv reception. Too high of a price . Neighbors do not pay any attention to the quiet time. read more

Large camp area, nice pool and family-owned-operated. Firewood delivered to your site! No Mosquitos in August. Pay showers, though. :/ playground is from 60's with metal slide, swings and merry/go-round, but sand volleyball looked clean. read more

We have been coming here as a family for years. Clean, beautiful, and in a great location. What's best is the free wifi (I know in a campground that sounds wrong) We are able to have family movie nights streaming movies while camping. What fun! Unfortunately I wasn't able to stay at this campground. When I called to ask questions the lady on the phone was very rude and short. I was asking for clarification of information posted on their website and she rudely questioned why I would be asking. I mentioned that the information was on their website. She angrily mumbled something and hung up. So, I guess I'll cross that campground off my list and share this review. read more

We had a pull through site across from the hill to the playground and found it very convenient. Little touches like delivering fire wood and picking up trash are fantastic. The pool area is very nice, but a bit small for the number of sites. It gets very crowded. The showers are coin operated, but that is the case in most area campgrounds. 25 cents gets you 3-4 minutes. The bathrooms were clean, but again too small. There are 3 spread throughout the sites but only 2 shower stalls in each so there can be lines during peak hours. The location is central to a lot of activities and we would definitely return. read more

The managers (Ike and Mary) are true sweethearts and great hosts. This campground is not on the water or anything, but it is in a great location to act as a "base camp" of sorts for all of the up north activities available nearby. It is a well-maintained campground that is great for families. read more
