Like other reviews, yes there is probably better Indian food in Denver but India's Kitchen is perfectly fine and tasty and I would gladly recommend it to friends and we will go back again and again. Without question, this is one of my favorite restaurants. I've eaten my way through the entire menu, and I haven't found a single dish I don't like, including all the vegetarian items. In the past, I would order all dishes on the spicy side, but I have found that the flavors come through better if I do medium. The chicken chili appetizer is absolutely wonderful and a must-have! This is a MUST visit restaurant! We have been coming here for years and then for health reasons I had to change to a vegan diet. So we quit coming here because my favorite thing on the menu, the Gobi Masala (cauliflower instead of chicken) had dairy in the sauce. Recently my husband called in to order takeout and asked if they had any kind of vegan masala sauce, and they said sure we can make it vegan with coconut milk! He brought it home and it was absolutely beyond delicious and I could not even tell the difference. Needless to say we are back at patronizing India's Kitchen in Parker, Colorado! Many beyond delish vegan options...they even have a vegan type of Naan bread. If you like a specific ingredient in your food you can ask to have your dish customized! For example my husband likes the Chicken Tikka Masala with a few vegetables in it. Everything is made fresh and to order, so they are very flexible! The owner is very accommodating and gracious! The ambience is wonderful... dimly lit but not so dark you cannot see. Just perfect to relax in a peaceful atmosphere at the end of a long, busy day. The prices are most reasonable, and online coupons are often available for both dine in and take out. Servings are large enough that those with less of an appetite can easily share an entrée. I really wanted to like this place, I love Indian food and am a recent transplant into Parker. I ordered delivery and have to say this was possibly some of the worst delivery I've ever had. I ordered the veggie and meat appetizer platters and they were both fried so badly that some of the pieces were inedible. Literally so hard that you couldn't chew them. They also skimped so much and were mainly fried pieces of nothing. Amazing Indian food! Go for the lunch buffet for an unbeatable deal. You can't have a more satisfying lunch than all-you-can-eat indian food (with rice pudding, raita, and mango custard for dessert). I just had it about an hour ago, and stuffed myself to the brim. I wish I could have eaten more its soo good. The staff are very friendly and clearly care about their food. Since moving here from southern California 4 years ago, we'd been looking for a solid reasonably priced Indian place, and never really found one. Then India's Kitchen opened up down the street, and Parker has scored some of the best Indian food around! If you live anywhere near Parker, don't pass this up. If you haven't tried Indian Food before, be ready to delight your tastebuds. They've got it all. The buffet is the perfect way to try out new things to see what you like the most. THE SERVICE IS GREAT HERE! My husband and I love Indian food and enjoy it as often as wel can. Even our kids like it, and they are 2 and 4. We have found that service is sometimes lackluster at Indian restaurants. Waitstaff can be standoffish or ignore you altogether. Not so at India's Kitchen. The manager nearly always greets us and checks on us at least once during the meal and the waitstaff is attentive with drink refills. My favorite dish is the Lamb Korma! We went to this place for dinner for the first (and the last) time with my wife, 1 year old son and my in-law.(party of 3 + kid). A teen looking Indian kid received and seated us.. I am Indian as well, so no racism going on here....I don't usually go to Indian restaurants because my wife cooks better than these guys, only once in a while if wife wants to eat out Indian food. We were seated by this kid and I guess he didn't knew that 1 year old's need a high chair..So my wife had to specifically ask for it...No big deal..I didn't knew it either until I had a son...But then we noticed he left only 2 sets of silverware for group of 3. So we waited for someone to come take our order. It was a long wait, no one showed up for next 15 minutes. Then this lady came over and placed 3 glasses of water in our table and left... Then she came back with a plastic cup with a lid(guess it was for my son). I opened the lid and it was water too.. I figured she is a mind reader, since she knew exactly that we all preferred water, including my 1 year old son... Usually I order beer / starter when I eat dinner out, but may be she thought I am kind of in the bigger side(fat), that I don't need those extra calories..So she never bothered ask if we need any appetizers/starters etc. She was ready for our orders, I ordered Lamb kabab for myself, my wife ordered chicken biriyani for her and my in-law, and a mango custard for my son..Also I asked her for another silverware before she left.. Another 25 minutes past by, she came back with the order, but there were only lamb kabob and 1 chicken biriyani, the other biriyani order I guess was invisible just like the mango custard for my son..So we started having our dinner, then I doubted in case they added both the order of biriyani into 1 plate. So I called the lady and checked with her and she clarified that there was only 1 order made. Didn't bother asking if we ordered/wanted two..May be she might have thought my in-law shouldn't be eating all those oil stuff since she had cholesterol..Wonder how she knew it though...Now I confirmed that she definitely can read minds even my son's, since she knew he loves water and he doesn't need to be spoiled by giving him mango custard for dinner... Another thing I noticed was that there were 2 sets of glasses depending upon your race. Indians get the conical pint glasses while non Indians gets the fancy wine glasses.(feel free to check it out if you happen to go there, I am not making it up) I was kind of confused, I thought I was drunk or something, Then realized I am drinking water and not beer like I used to typically since she was concerned about my calorie consumption..So I looked around and saw there were 2 other Indian groups sitting and they both had same glasses like ours and the rest of the groups had the fancy wine glasses. So I brought this to my wife's attention and she was kind of curious as well, I wanted to ask the lady, but didn't get approval from my wife.. She went to this Mother Theresa school of 'being nice to all' to get her attitude training, that she always keeps her cool whatsoever. I never got passed the entrance gate to that school since I flipped the security guard..So we ended up eating the healthy diet prescribed to us by the order/mind reader lady and not what we really wanted to eat. Wife/in-law ended up sharing 1 plate Chicken biriyani..Later when the bill came in, I double checked to make sure they didn't charge us for those 2 extra/over rated orders(1 chicken biriyani, 1 mango custard) we initially made and which we never received, it wasn't there in the bill either...At least I am glad they didn't screw up there. By then my son was sleeping(almost an hour after we walked in), so he didn't needed a mango custard and I bet the reader knew it would happen and may be that's why she never placed the order. I noticed other groups experience similar services as there were 2 chicks sitting nearby and they were ready to leave.But had to wait another 15 minutes before they finally decided to call up this guy(waiter) to bring the receipt.I guess they didn't had the patience to wait another hour or so.. Guess who didn't go to Mother Theresa school....? Finally when she got the receipt, she looked at me and I smiled, she gave me that 'roll over' eyes thing and I kind of laughed.. I had the same experience when we were ready to leave and so I called the same guy right away and ordered the receipt. Asked my wife/in-law to take my son and wait in the car. They knew I wasn't really impressed by the service, though I appreciate their diet consciousness towards my family. I still tipped 10%(usually I do 20), now thinking about it, I should have given $0. So I was walking out of the place and this guy was standing on the way. he saw me, immediately looked up to the ceiling, with a smirk on his face.
