We attended church on June 25. We were visitors. We were disappointed the sermon was very political.

I really love the new facility! Very modern and minimalistic in design with a neutral color scheme…read more The parking lot is bigger which is nice! Lots of spots. They even guide you into a space which was great! What's awesome is they have a cute little room for the next steps info sessions if you're hoping to find out more about the church. They also sell apparel here which is great! I browsed through some of it and loved some of the cups and such. The lobby is open with high ceilings. There's a really cool map of Columbus on one of the walls right when you walk in. We got greeted at the doors with big smiles! Loved it! Everyone seemed really excited! When you've got good greeters, it really makes a difference. The sanctuary is open as well. It makes the space feel ten times larger. When my friends and I came to the 11am service on Sunday, it was already packed inside! A girl led us to some seats since it was dark in there. We got to sit up in the balcony. We had a great view of the whole space! The seats are very comfortable and big enough to share with someone. We ended up sharing seats up there since the lady next to us needed a few more. No problem! I had ample room and she let me sit partly on her seat as well. For some reason, I keep thinking this church is trying to appeal to the younger generation. But it's for everyone. They had a singer on stage who was a little older who I had never seen before. Seeing him made me realize that this church is for all ages. Needed to see that. Only thing to plan for is getting here early. The building is located right off a roundabout which can add a little bit of time depending on which direction you're coming from. Anyway, love it! Can't wait to return!

Amazing church! Great place to experience God! everyone is very friendly! many opportunities to…read moreserve as well.

The pastor's daughter and another child threatened my family and my daughter by sending text…read moremessages twice saying they would burn down my house. They later claimed it was part of a role-playing game, but in reality, the pastor's daughter asked the boy to send the threatening texts to my niece, with my daughter's name on them. This matter is now in court, but only against the boy, since the girl has taken no responsibility. To the pastor, it was simply "a joke." He even said that directly to me over the phone! Meanwhile, my family endured sleepless nights, terrified because we didn't know who was sending these messages. Not only did they send one message, but a second one included a countdown, making the threat even more frightening. My daughter was threatened for no reason at all. The pastor has taken no action, and his daughter has faced no consequences, even though she is already known for causing problems. People in the church are not even aware of this situation. The worst part is that on the day of the boy's interview, the pastor called me in an attempt to interfere with the investigation. He never once mentioned his daughter's involvement--he simply and blatantly blamed the boy. Not only that, but after the situation, instead of addressing it, this pastor retaliated against my family, trying to make us look like the bad people for defending my daughter. But I ask: * Is this how a shepherd should protect his flock? * Shouldn't a leader of the church set an example of truth, justice, and accountability instead of covering up sin? * How can a pastor preach about righteousness on Sunday but ignore wrongdoing in his own home? The Bible says: * "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." (Ephesians 5:11) * "But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it." (Genesis 4:7) * "Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture, declares the Lord." (Jeremiah 23:1) * "The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in people who are trustworthy." (Proverbs 12:22) A true pastor should lead with integrity, discipline his household, and protect the innocent. Instead, this pastor has chosen to excuse sin, deny accountability, and retaliate against those who simply sought justice.

Vineyard Columbus church is a big Christian non-denominational church in the Columbus neighbourhood…read moreof Westerville, Ohio. Although big, the church has various small groups that meet during the week and weekends in homes or sometimes at the church. These groups are Bible study groups. Some groups are social groups as well. There is always a way to get connected with others even though the church is big. Attendance declined a little bit after COVID but many people still come to Vineyard Columbus or the other smaller campus locations. The lead Pastor for a long time was Rich Nathan. In 2021, Eric and Julia Pickerill became the lead Pastors but stepped down in winter 2026. Currently, Vineyard Columbus is searching for a new full time main Pastor. I attended Vineyard Columbus when I lived in Columbus during my University/College years. I loved the sermons and the optional small group meetings. Back then, there used to be a young adults group called Joshua House that had various social outings and praise and worship nights. I enjoyed attending a retreat once with Joshua's House which was fun. Church is welcoming/inviting and they offer complimentary tea and coffee in an open gathering area. They also offer free used and new books in this open area. They have Spanish services available too which is nice. Overall, I would recommend Vineyard Columbus for those looking for a new church home. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 63/250 total reviews in 2026 - 904 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 30 April 2026

It didn't get overly packed. A lot of people came late and even while Rich started preaching. Lol. It's known for being culturally diverse which is cool! I'll bet it's easier to find more of these types of churches in larger cities. Worship is always good. Longer than I'm used to. They sing a good mix of gospel, some older contemporary, and newer contemporary. The singers are so talented! They have such powerful voices! They are so aware of culture that they also sang one part of a song in Spanish. Awesome! The sermon is academic. Rich Nathan used to teach at OSU, so it makes sense that he'll bring in all kinds of knowledge into his sermon. They're long. It may've been an hour long sermon, I think? They speak openly about social issues and are aware of things that the city is failing to do. But they don't say this to point fingers, they say it to show that churches can do more to help the community. They even help out with ESL! They guide you through communion which I think is fantastic! Not sure why some church plants don't do this... they even read the scripture in another language! On Sunday, the guy read it in Farsi! Very cool! It's a nice church! I've never had trouble with parking or anything. There are two lots on either side of the building. There's also a cafe in here that serves food! It always smells good and I would love to try it if I'm ever back here again. A lady greeted us at the door which was nice. They don't have greeters into the sanctuary. I'm so used to it that it was different that they don't do this. But it's only because they have the pamphlets and communion stuff prepacked on a table before you take a seat.
