It's a traditional Lutheran WELS congregation but they're very open to trying new events and forming new types of outreach. There's currently an active choir, young professionals group, and an "over 50" organization in the church. There's fellowship each week after service and opportunities to meet new people. Also, there are a lot of kids which is great for young families. My husband and I are very glad we joined this congregation and have made the incredible connections with people in this church.

Impressed by the young men and women in the youth groups through high school and the strong college and career group. Solid biblical teaching that actually comes out of the Bible, not what some commentary or book author thinks. The church is growing so the only negative is that a new person attending may be able to come in and slip out without being engaged by someone from the church so it will take some intentionality to connect as with any big church. That being said, it does have a small church feel especially if you get involved with a lifegroup. If you are looking for solid biblical teaching with a solid foundation to your faith or if you have kids and want a solid program to help you lead your kids in the Christian faith, this is the place for you. When you come though, be proactive to start to get involved. Introduce yourself to pastors or get involved with the Awana programs if you have young children. I hope this helps!

The spacious entry way…read moreprovides enough space that newcomers and visitors don't feel overwhelmed when they walk in the doors, but the warm colors and smell of coffee on Sunday mornings and welcoming and inviting. One word to describe my experience there on Sundays: friendly. The people there are quick to shake hands and smile and introduce themselves, the music is done well and sermons bridge the gap between "religion" and "real life." Services happen at 10:30am on Sunday mornings.
