I was there just last week and a middle aged "lady" noticed that I was having difficulty finding an item (lite soy, not low sodium). She politely approached and said "you look very lost, what are you looking for?" She spent about 10 minutes helping me with finding the item....plus she gave me some great tips on shopping Asian markets. Now I am in my middle 80s and am well aware of the Asian culture having great "respect" for elders..(sorely absent in today's America) however, my encounter tells me she was just a "very nice person" and would have assisted almost anyon....again...Thank You!

The benefit is quicker shopping, smaller line, personal attention and shorter distance to drive which saves time, money and traffic. Price is competitive with with other local markets and sometimes less. This has all the qualities of a local convenience store, but without the rudeness often found these days. The people working in the store do their job, they are helpful and the shelves are well stocked. Worth checking out.

I don't come here for everything , but I will say... The produce section is top notch , the freezer selection has a variety offered by very few others, the spice section alone is worth a visit, I'm a big tea drinker and this place has never disappointed, a big draw for me is I like to feed my dog organ meat, this isn't popular at some places, I've never had any gripes with the quality or price of what I have purchased. Everything has been 100%.I see many employees smiling and working hard whenever I go there. Some items might cost more than other places but I would rather get the niche items I couldn't otherwise and pay a couple extra bucks in total for the rest. Id rather give my business to them than some corporate super market that don't care about anybody except profit margin. Thank you and I'll be back.

You order at the counter and there is plenty of seating. We ate in the cafe, but many people are popping in and out for takeout. The hot food is mostly street food / chaat style and is Indian veg (includes eggs, paneer, yoghurt and lots of bean based dishes). There is also a cool array of ice cream, Indian pastries and cakes. The staff at both the cafe and market checkout are happy to explain any unfamiliar items, and at one point a fellow customer even stepped to help guide me to the best snacks. The supermarket a full and impressive supermarket with everything from spices to snacks, flours, frozen food and a (smallish) fresh veg section. The store is brand new, bright, and super clean. There's a fun wall paint style that we were impressed to see was even matched to the little wooden checkout conveyor belt dividers - a cool attention to detail. The market/cafe are located in the same strip mall as Ellie's Farmhouse and Maya's so lots of easy parking.

K-Market isn't big compared to other stores, so you probably won't find everything you're looking for. Fresh vegetable and meat selection is good, not great. Same with dry goods. But they manage to stock an impressive array, and their prices are outstanding. Prices for everyday products like dried noodles, fish and soy sauce, bulk rice are all below other stores. Many of the veggies and herbs are packaged in small bags so you don't have to buy more than you need. And they have one of the biggest selections of fresh noodles around. I spent maybe 20% less, and the quality is good. What's not to like? And oh yes, in response to an earlier review, the store is both clean and odor-free.

It's thin and a little bit basic underneath, but that warm and gooey white glaze is magical. Fortunately for me (and unfortunately for my tailor), they don't open earlier, or I'd have these more often. -- Coffee: Respectable. Certainly much better than what you'd expect at a market. -- Salmon Bowl: My wife and I both tried one, and we both vowed we would be back. Nicely seasoned as well. -- Farro (base for my wife's bowl): She was very happy with it. -- Potatoes (base for my bowl): A handful of small potatoes, crisp on the outside, very fluffy inside, and mostly seasoned with salt and herbs. -- Broccoli: Little mini trees, connected, slightly charred, and garlicky. Warm and cooked enough to not be raw, but not enough to not be somewhat stiff. -- Rainbow Carrots: Cooked a little more than the broccoli, a little more charred (nice), a little more seasoned (Indian spices), and moist both inside and out.
