It's such a good portion for $8.00 and nicely made. It's so fresh and you get that delicious savory taste from the sesame oil. But watch out cause they sell out :) I've been coming here for the past 25 years, ever since I was a little kid. It's an awesome mom-and-pop type of shop for your Korean grocery needs. Very chill area. The store might seem small but they got everything you need to make your own KBBQ night :) Banchan, kimchi, noodles to make japchae. You don't need to travel to the OC cause they are stocked with what you might need. And the store owners are really polite :) You can call ahead to see if they're stocked with kimbap or whatever other item you might be looking for. Check em out :)

3.5 stars Funnily…read moreenough, I never knew that there was an H Mart in Chino, or rather existed in-between Sam's Club and Kohls! I visit this plaza often due to Sam's Club, but rarely drive in the plaza towards Kohls so I was surprised when my friend told me the other week. I needed to head to both Kohls and Sam's Club for errands and stopped by H Mart to grab a few items. I am spoiled by the H Mart in Diamond Bar (DB), so I was expecting something along the same lines but it was a bit different in this location. It is cleaner but some of the produce and fruit were not as fresh as the DB location. Also, there was an entire fridge aisle of alcohol drinks! That sure was a sight to see, since I do not ever recall seeing that in the DB location, or at least not that close to the entrance, let alone across from the produce and fruit. We did see a worker throwing out prepared food, so they must be clearing out already prepared food halfway through the day or something because we were surprised as it was still early afternoon. We do not recommend purchasing the prepped sweet potato here as they are dry and hard, not as fresh as the DB location. We were able to find what we needed and were on our way. The lines to the cashier are very short so it is convenient, as compared to the lines at the DB location, along with the always busy parking lot. This location is a bit smaller than others and also a bit pricier, probably due to the location. Overall, it is convenient if one is in the area and need a few items, but this would not be my main H Mart to shop at.

Your staff need better training on how to handle customers and their purchases…read more The cashier asked my wife how many bunches of cilantro she had in her plastic bag. She answered that she had three. While another employee was bagging the items, the employee said it looked like there were four and proceeded to open the bag to check. After opening it, they found that there were, in fact, only three. If you ask a customer to count and confirm the items, then you should trust the customer's response. If employees feel they need to verify every item themselves, they should do so before bagging rather than putting the responsibility on the customer and then questioning their answer. This may seem like a small issue, but it made the interaction unnecessarily uncomfortable and frustrating. Better staff training and a more respectful approach to customers would go a long way.
