The service was good and the server (who was running a one woman show) was very patient and pleasant. The one thing that I noticed that was bizarre is that they charge for tap water. We got butter chicken based on the server's recommendation with rice and garlic naan. The food came out fairly quickly. The butter chicken was flavorful, but a little sweet (as expected). We did ask for it to be spicy, but the sauce was not spicy at all. So if you like spicy, make sure you emphasize that you want it to be extra spicy. The server brought a chili sauce to elevate the spice level, which did the trick. The naan was alright. Though it was soft, it lacked the strong garlic flavor that we are used to of. Overall good.

Stolene var virkelige ubehagelige, hvilket gjorde oplevelsen endnu værre. Jeg vil bestemt ikke anbefale Golden Indian til nogen, og jeg kommer aldrig tilbage. There is zero flexibility, imagination or willingness to accommodate the customers. Either you eat what's on the menu or it's just tough luck. We wanted three curies. Two of the menu and one needed to be without a substantial amount of tomato and with vegetables preferable a green or yellow curry (Nigh shade allergy and vegan). All they could come out with was a cheese curry with no cheese. They were not able to add vegetables to any of the curtsies for unknown reasons. So what it was a box of curry sauce with nothing in it, at full price!! Seriously!? On top of that they dish up with a red curry (heavy on tomato!) Come on! Don't go here if you have any allergies or desire to customize your dish, they simple cannot compute what you're requesting! What an overpriced disgrace of a restaurant and embarrassment to Indian hospitality! I recommend the owners take responsibility and train their staff probably!

From my research I knew that this was the oldest Pakistani restaurant in Copenhagen. The decor was pretty unique as we entered the restaurant and even though they were pretty busy for a Wednesday night and we didn't have a reservation they had one empty four top that we were seated at. The server came immediately to take the order. We inquired where the cook was from and were told that he was from Punjab which was good to hear as they are usually the best cooks from that region. The server also informed us that all the meat was boneless which is my usual preference to begin with. We ordered the samosa and seekh kebab appetizer to start and got the chicken karahi with two naans for dinner. The food was delicious and extremely well cooked. The server thought we had double the appetite and they actually brought out 2 orders of the chicken karahi, one of which we had to send back as it was too much food. But the food was awesome and I have to put this Pakistani restaurant as most probably the best Pakistani food I have had in Europe. Amazingly the service was excellent too which is usually the only negative thing that you experience in a Pakistani restaurant. 5 stars all the way.
