I can count on one hand the number of times that I've been a customer of a salon. I have a barbershop that I go to for my haircut, so salons are really not my thing. I only enter a salon whenever I have to fetch my wife or sister after their hairstyling sessions.
However, I must admit that there are instances when I require a salon. For instance, even if I regularly clean and cut my toenails, there are times when I overcut them or I have problems with ingrown nails. Such incidents can be painful. When they happen, I usually head to the nearest salon because I know that they could fix my troubles.
Just recently, I couldn't continue with my brisk walking exercise because there was pain in my right big toe. Apparently, it has ingrown nails. I was in Guadalupe at that time and the nearest 'rescue' center was Index Salon. It was a busy place, but there was an available pedicurist. Although I was assured that the tools they use are clean, I still asked the staff to spray alcohol on the nipper and the nail cutter just to be sure. She complied with a smile. To keep the story short, the attendant (I forgot her name) successfully cleaned my toe nails and removed my ingrown problem without any unwelcome incident and pain.
The services offered at Index Salon are very affordable. read more
