My feeling is that you should spend as much as necessary for quality shoes because your feet need to be comfortable and if you buy cheap shoes your feet will suffer. I ordered a pair from amazon but they didn't fit, so those got returned. I took my son last night to look for sneakers since online ordering didn't work out. First we were in Freeport, Target had nothing, Sketcher's closed too early, Marshall's and Burlington didn't have much of a selection. So we ended up in Kohl's. I was about to give up at Kohl's. My son can't tie sneakers yet and he was insisting on an aquamarine pair. Close to closing a young sales guy appeared and started to help us. He showed my son different colors similar to aquamarine nothing was a good enough color. Finally he suggested getting a white pair of shoes and painting them with nail polish. I might try acrylic paint. He fitted my son for a white pair of Vans but we couldn't buy them because the registers had already closed. I'm supposed to take my son back on Friday after I get him to Kohl's to actually purchase the shoes. The young salesman's name was Aiden I think. Bright colorful styles and all you could want animal print await you. My wife got some cute summer fashions here recently. Only $5 bucks for leopard and snakeskin print tops and skirts. Wifey m matched the leopard outfit with a pair of leopard Birkenstocks on sale here for $7. My wifey looks nowhere near her age in Mandee styles. I'm happy that she could load up with all she wanted.. and it didnt break the bank. Going out for dinner, to the casinos or just the beach. As I was passing by I asked my niece for the time that one of stores near it closes. My niece proceeds to tell me 9:30 in which one of the workers rudely states they close at 6:50. I did not pay no mind, as I ask for the information to my niece again she aggressively states "I said already we close at 6:50". I proceed to tell her the question was not for her or regarding the store.
