I recently purchased a straw Stetson for summer but wanted another straw option with a wide brim. I chose a Mexican palm Charlie Horse. I love this brand and Lainey's collab with them. The price point on this brand is always very friendly and you can grab several for the price of other hats. Service was exceptional. Very very cute store with such an impressive selection. I love all their hat accessories and jazzed up even a simple straw hat with a couple cute little additions. They do branding, have a ton of bands, ribbons and more. Such a fun stop. Highly recommend! The fact is I have big dreams for the other spaces in the Huddleston building in downtown Celina, but that's a story for another time. THIS SHOP IS GORGEOUS! This isn't your regular soccer mom clothes. This is sequins, embroidery, bold colors, textured neutrals HEAVEN. And the owner grew up nearby and has worn western wear her whole life--so she's passionate about high quality REAL boots that fit perfectly and accurate western wear. They even have a hat bar to design every element of a hat including branding and the thingy that wraps around the hat that has a proper name that I don't know. It's freaking amazing. SOMEONE SNAP A PIC! The staff were so kind and each used their own expertise to help me shop. Lauren has hired the best staff who really know how to style. You can trust them to pull things that will make you feel great. I'm a timid shopper and not one to try new styles. I get busted out of my comfort zone every time and am always so happy. She carries all the best high quality brands that you would not expect in a small town boutique. Plus there is the largest collection of Consuela bags around. I have quite the selection now because once you see them in person you see the quality. Honeysuckle Rose is the first place I head if I need something for an event- or even if I don't. I know I'll walk out in a better mood than when I walked in. We didn't make a reservation but just came in with our own hats- if you bring your own in there's a styling fee of $25. We picked out all of our goodies and Lakin took care to style it on our hats and make it perfect. We had so much fun! It's definitely pricier than crafting yourself at home, but it's so fun to see everything in one space and have some pros help you out. Definitely would recommend for a girls day!

We don't always buy something because there are only so many $3000 hand tooled leather chairs you can buy but enjoy looking. That said, we have spent some money here on our trips for accessories for the home. Here is my problem with the place. The woman who manages the place follows us around the store and gives us the impression that we are being profiled as shoplifters. While she is nice, she almost always is following us through the store. I have never had this feeling shopping anywhere else. I never mentioned this to my wife but after our 4th time visiting the store, she mentioned it to me, so if we both sensed it, it must be a real thing which has made the trip in uncomfortable. It is a shame because we like the home accents they sell and would buy clothing here for our girls on occasion but have decided the attention we receive makes this store an uncomfortable store to shop in. 5 stars for store 2 stars for experience with staff.

After having them held for a short time, she decided to purchase. We got home and she looked them up online. Turns out they marked them up about 40% and then sold them for pretty much the same price we saw them on multiple websites, including the Lucchese website. I really hate dishonesty. My friend wanted to return them just b/c of the deception, but their horrid return policy meant she was stuck with them and a bad feeling in her gut for believing a small business in our great downtown area!
