I walked in to the florist to buy roses for my wife for our anniversary. There was a woman sitting behind the counter scrolling on her phone and two people a few feet behind her in the shop looking right at me. I stood there for a few very uncomfortable minutes and the woman behind the counter playing with her phone never looked up (I'm 6'3"... kinda hard to miss) and the people in the back just looked at me. Nancy and her team are amazing. We needed a special arrangement for a funeral for my father. She made us 4 different arrangements all as beautiful as the next. I asked for some pretty different things and she nailed them spot on. Bright fresh flowers. No boring baby's breath. Just wonderfully arranged. My father has been cremated and is resting in a tiny cabin and I asked for it to be nestled like it was in the woods. She just did an amazing fob. I can't say enough good things. I know this is about a funeral but if I had a wedding, or any event or just wanted to send flowers to a friend I would use this place. You will not be disappointed. By far the best place in the area and we went to a few looking for the right person. She does all the stuff you might see on instagram and Pinterest. They can do anything. Just amazing! Spoke to Nancy and her BP on ordering a Spring time flowering plant for my friend who just lost a family member and I did not want to send the typical flowers in a vase so the suggestion was Odessa Calla Lily which is so beautiful! Nancy and her team did an amazing job bringing our vision to life for our wedding at Monmouth Hills. I wasn't very particular with the types of flowers that I wanted for centerpieces, but Nancy was extremely patient and explained what would be in season during our initial consultation. She was very thorough and gave great advice throughout. My bridal bouquet was breathtaking as were my bridesmaids. We decided to add an non traditional arbor the week before, and Nancy sourced some beautiful Cherry Blossoms for us and it really made the ceremony breathtaking and unique. Having worked numerous times at the venue and with some of the other vendors, she was able to give suggestions and input that we hadn't thought about. When we were having doubts about a cool front coming in and having to possibly tent our porch, Nancy assured me that it wasn't necessary, making me feel at ease (and she was right!). 48 hours before, when something didn't come in for our decor, Nancy was able to create some moss letters to put in teh decors place. She is truly a pleasure to work with and definitely will work within your budget. We got an initial quote, was able to adjust some things and then add some things back in a few weeks before. In the Garden was truly a pleasure to work with. You can tell that they are passionate about their clients and what they do. A side note - If you book at Monmouth Hills, make sure to contact In the Garden. The do the gorgeous hanging lights from the ceiling, as well as the ones on the porch. They also created lighting outside for our cocktail hour. read more

Just had my husbands surprise 40th last night. I found this florist on yelp and decided to give them a try from the past reviews! They exceeded my expectations, I asked to have "masculine" flowers as the center pieces at the table. Nancy went with it and gave me so many suggestions, I deferred to her expertise. While Nancy mostly worked with my mother because I was busy planning other aspects of my wedding, I wanted to take the time to thank Nancy and team for such an amazing job. In the beginning of the wedding planning process, flowers were just not a priority for me at all, but my mom insisted on hiring a florist. I am so so so happy that we did. Not only did Nancy perfectly capture my vision, she went above and beyond by working with the person who rented the porch wraparound (to keep guests on the porch warm during my fall wedding) to us to make sure it wouldn't look messy in photos, since we were having our ceremony in front of that porch.
