Never have I experienced such paranoia as I have when trying to shop at Anthonys in Stuart, FL. The…read moremanager or store clerk was nasty in her attempts to mask me and though she kept saying "it was policy" and that she was "sorry" she was anything but as she insisted that I leave as I declined the mask. Being a severe asthmatic I absolutely cannot wear a mask and Anthony s is a place that insists on it. One word: Politics. In past years I have spent beaucoup amounts of money shopping there though at times I found their prices way out of line given that the quality of the merchandize is mediocre at best. In the same shopping center, new clothing boutiques have sprung up with great merchandize at more reasonable prices. I was able to buy what I needed sans mask. The only signs on the door to these boutiques was "WELCOME" and welcomed I felt. God bless these shop owners and their common sense. Anthonys policy of mask wearing (plus their steep prices) will ultimately be their undoing and I for one will not regret their eventual closing.

This place is fabulous not just for food, drinks and convenience store items but they carry so many cute retail items too including Lululemon. You know a place is bougie if they carry Lululemon. Lol. They sell booze, unique gift items, bulk candy section, sunscreen, bug spray, clothing, snacks, canned drinks, and so much more. There is an activities area where you can check out things to do while you're staying at Isla Belle Beach Resort too. Ask for Sean, he's the Director of Guest Experiences and he'll take great care of you! The space is beautiful and so big. The Marketplace reminds me a lot of Sugarboo & Co which is a unique home goods store with fun gift items. If you've ever been to Sugarboo in Orlando or Atlanta, you'll know what I mean. We stopped in here a few times mainly for coffee or breakfast sandwiches. Had the hazelnut cappuccino and warning to all, they make the coffee super fresh and piping hot. No joke, almost burned my mouth twice. I wasn't the only one. Ha. But coffee is good, just be careful and let your drink cool off. I speak from experience. The breakfast sandwiches here are really tasty and fresh. They don't list the breakfast sandwiches on the menu as it changes regularly. We had an everything bagel breakfast sandwiches with egg, bacon and cheese. The bagel was perfectly soft and chewy and yummy. Pricing is fair and you can charge to your room. If you're staying at the resort, you can walk here from the main resort area and lobby too. It's a short walk and you enter through the back area that way. It's also next to the Event Center. Coolest marketplace I've ever seen!

We tried several samples before making our selections. We asked if they made the ice cream and they said someone locally makes it and then they get it to sell. The sweets are made in house though. I tried about 5 different ice cream flavors before settling on two. A black raspberry and blueberry cheesecake. We also picked a banana bread pudding and a discord cookie butter cupcake to go. They have a side room with several picnic tables to sit and enjoy your sweet treats so you don't have to go outside with them and watch them melt too quickly. The banana bread pudding was good warmed up later. The cupcake tasted good but was drier than I expected or would have hoped. It's a place that you could definitely return to and keep trying different options. The cookies looked great. That would be next on our to try list. The girls working there were very friendly, patient and helpful while we were trying to decide on what flavor to pick.

I instantly fell in love with this adorable botique! The owner, Susan is so sweet! She was so cordial and welcoming, made us feel very at home.
