De Passage is home to one of three Apple Stores in the Netherlands, as of 2022, while hosting other brands including Nespresso, Mango and Pandora. There is also a Starbucks, which is the only Starbucks inside De Hague Centre (outside of the train station), inside the newer area of the centre. In terms of shopping, there aren't a lot of shops here, other than a few notable names, but something about The Passage, especially the older part, just feels so elegant, high-end and beautiful and is a tourist attraction in its' own right, when visiting The Hague, even though it is rather small. 4*

It's like you are both indoors and outdoors at the same time, because there are no doors on either end of it; it just empties out into a plaza or street. There is everything from clothing and accessories, to luggage and candy shops here. Everyone is welcome here, and there are price ranges to suit everyone. We walked through because it was the most efficient way for us to get from point A to point B, but we did some window shopping along the way. There is a restaurant or two located here too, as we saw patrons sipping their wines and beers outside establishments. Definitely a place to explore if you're in town! 40/2019

In…read morea modern shopping area they have Jumbo, AH, Etos, T mobile, petshop, Prenatel, V&D, Hema, Xenos, Esprit, Watcher, H&M, Steps, Kruidvat, Mc Donalds not to mention the restaurant complex next to the big lake plus loads loads more. It has a relaxed family atmosphere and no gangs of kids walking the streets at late night shopping.(unlike in Den Haag) The place is not undercover shopping but there are plenty of places to shelter.

One end has mostly food while the other clothes and electronics. The produce stands are amazing, filled with a great variety of fruits and vegetables. To give you an idea of the affordable prices, you can get 3 avocados for 1 euro, 1 kg of brussels sprouts for 1 euro, and other big bunches of greens for a couple of euro. My biggest worry was not that I would spend too much money, but that I wouldn't be able to lug everything back home! There are also specialty stands that sell olives, bread, and cheeses. If you are looking for something to eat on the spot, there are also little food vendors dotting the market, with everything from halal food to smoked fish and sticks and corn on the cob. I went on Saturday morning around 10AM and it wasn't too crowded, but I read that it gets pretty crowded later on in the day.
