Deondre W., owner of In Da Clutch, was early-morning (before 8:30) responsive to my plight, when other courier services were not--In Da Clutch was the third company I tried to reach. I'd left my work laptop at the office and was about to work remotely for 5 days ... going all the way there and back (a 4+ hour round trip) was out of the question. Deondre knew the location ("we deliver there all the time") and gave me an instant quote that was very reasonable. When the driver who picked up my laptop was delayed at at appointment, Deondre picked up the ball and retrieved my laptop and brought it to me. He is personable, communicative and just a nice person. Today, I had a rush job to get a handwashing station from Carroll Gardens in Brooklyn to Hunts Point in the Bronx - no short stint. The handwashing station is a DIY job lovingly and painstakingly constructed from two large trash cans, with plumbing equipment, connected by tubing and galley foot pump. The station was going to a community outreach center that supports unsheltered individuals, during this time where underserved areas need support now, more than ever. Needless to say, I had a vested interest that the station was delivering on time and intact. In Da Clutch more than delivered. The owner himself was punctual with communication, arrived at the agreed time and had a clean vehicle that comfortably the station. He was extremely friendly and even complimented the DIY work and it's intended missions. The price was extremely fair, for a last minute job too. I will definitely use In Da Clutch again! read more

The items needed to be there at a precise time during the meeting, so we could direct her to go to her front door and retrieve the surprise gifts. Scoping and ordering the job were seamless, starting here in Yelp and finishing up via text. Deondre was highly responsive to my questions and scheduling circumstances. After a luggage fiasco at Delta baggage in Newark, one of my bags was locked in the baggage office when we left it on the carousel. We realized it when loading our vehicle, but the staff had cleared the carousel, locked the door, and closed for the night. There were no Delta employees anywhere to be found in baggage or upstairs in the check in area. I live 1 hr 40 minutes away and since it was 2:30 in the morning finally had to leave and go home. The next morning after finally reaching a Delta employee, I reached out to a few courier services to see if I could get my bag picked up and shipped to me via UPS. This service responded promptly and was willing to facilitate this for me. The fee was reasonable. They picked up the bag, took it to UPS, and shipped it with a label I emailed them.
