The absolute worst retail experience of my life. I met Chris the owner a few years back when we…read moreboth were in BNI. So when it came time for us to expand he seemed like a good choice. Boy was i wrong. I went to get some shirts printed with the company logo. Chris was there everything went fine. The problem began when I tried get more items printed. I reached out via email. No response. I called, when I did the girl Mandy on the phone was absolutely disgusting. Basically saying she's to busy to take my order send an email. I tried explaining that I had already done so to no avail. So normally I quit doing business with people like this immediately. But since I knew Chris I could talk to him when I seen him. I was not notified that my shirts were done, since I needed them so bad I called and sure they were ready. I get there and kind of tongue in cheek kind of way mentioned the poor service I received. I never once raised my voice or used and inappropriate language at any moment. Then Chris just exploded he turned Beet red yelling at me about he doesnt need my business and can get out now. His behavior was so egregious and unwarranted it must be stopped. so I go into apology mode just for deescalation sake and it seemed the more I apologized the angrier he became. Then he marched me into his warehouse screaming no you apologize to mandy, so I did in front of everyone. I was cool as a cucumber the entire time. Cleary Chris is racist and mentally unstable. I think asking why its so hard to place an order at a place of business is viable question. He needs some help. Even if we agree to part ways in business which happens everyday, should still be done in a calm professional, non aggressive, non threating way. What Chris did is wholly unacceptable and shouldn't be in business. He had the nerve to be screaming at me because Mandy work so hard in a hot warehouse. I guess he forgot I work in a 160 degree attic with a great attitude. I don't blame the client for work i chose.

I would've given at least 2 stars since she is responsive via email; however, her customer service skills are ridiculous. There were multiple small defects on the logos (some were peeling as soon as I picked it up, the other had a small piece missing, and all of them were not cut correctly and still showing white behind the colored part.) Her excuse was that we provided the garments she used and I don't understand how digital works. If that's the case, I can post the comparison photos of each logo, as well as other digital prints of the same logo I've had done elsewhere on the same garment types. She definitely needs to check her energy and customer service skills though because I would've just happily not used her services again but instead, I'm leaving a review so that future customers are aware and don't waste their time. I will add pics (both logo provided and final product that I was given as well as comparisons). In the meantime, if you need just screen print, Osborn Printing, right around the corner has better customer service.

My review will highlight why I am glad I discovered Big Frog custom shirts. When I first entered their store I was greeted by Jake, a semi-young looking chap who was the same kind fellow who answered the phone when I called and put me at ease when he gave me assurance that the custom job (a difficult one that other companies said couldn't be done) could be accomplished. Jake was very helpful in spelling out the process and the approach he would take to fix the apparel I brought (t-shirts, jackets, hooded sweaters) to him and was very professional, helpful, and courteous from start to finish. Being local family owned and operated made me even happier to discover them and after successful completion of my custom apparel job, I have gained the confidence to give them a few more t-shirt jobs for our businesses to which they also successfully completed. From design, to listening, to production, the entire staff (ie. Jake, Rachael, Kathryn, and Claude) were extremely helpful in executing the look and feel I was looking for. So thank you to him for that. I even made a shirt for my 3 year old due to their no-minimum policy which was awesome. If I can mention one critical remark it is that they forgot to print a logo on the front of a few shirt that I printed with them, but I am confident that they will own to their small oversight as they had in the past when any mishap occurred. When I went to pick it up, however, the size of the letters had been changed to a much smaller size without my approval. I let them know that is not what I asked for, not what I paid for, and not what I approved. The owner, Lisa was cold and unapologetic. I asked her why I wasn't contacted because I would have said no to the smaller size. She didn't have an answer. Now my expensive jersey is ruined. She was rude and offered my money back for the embroidery only but told me the ruined jersey was my problem. I've been a customer here for years but will be looking for a new embroidery company now.
