As a hired Independent Contractor with this company, I quickly, (first day), realized this is a…read moresubstandard position for 'employees'. This is a 25 year operating Courier company mainly to provide delivery and pick up for medical specimens and supplies for multiple clinics in the Northern Arizona area. The vehicles I personally were provided were passenger cars, up to 13 years old and not cargo vans or larger vehicles as I naively, errantly anticipated. The vehicles were absolutely filthy. Grime, body oils on the inside door handles (black with a gummy consistency), and the steering wheel was so nasty that I had to avoid rubbing my pants on the steering wheel as I entered inside the vehicle. I immediately began to wipe down the areas with repetitive replacements of clean wipes until the wipes were no longer grey with filth. I was so put off by the unsanitary conditions I took photographs. Aside from the filth, this Courier company simply has no conscientiousness to detail. A vehicle is rented (now twice a week instead of once a week) for certain items going to a certain location, yet the vehicle still does not adequately provide the space needed for delivery/pick ups. It is unsafe having the rear view mirror blocked with items packed into an inadequate space, while traveling distances of well over 300 miles roundtrip, still having other pertinent items packed in the vehicle for other deliveries. There is entirely too many issues with this company that I personally will not elaborate. When I was asked by the Laboratory after only a few days of my employment if I was going to stay with the Courier company long enough for them to make me a badge identifying myself for the other clinics, I knew this company had a high turn around of 'employees', ie, independent contractors. It isn't all about the distance of driving the employees complain about; the owner uses this excuse when individuals quit. After only 11 days of employment, I officially expressed my 2 week resignation, yet, days after training another individual, (don't forget I was trained just a week prior), there were incidences I told the employer my time at the end of that day was my last. I simply cannot allow a company to continue to practice substandard service and consciously put their workers in substandard conditions; especially when the employer states the 4 days of training will be deducted from your pay if you're not with the company for a year, and the company has no regard for basic, respectful, decent sanitary conditions or adequate provisions of vehicles needed for these deliveries. It is appalling after boasting 25 years of business, that this company operates in the undesirable manner that it does. The photos are just 1 of multiple filthy vehicles.

2 hrs of meetings with Liana and somehow discussion was avoided that upon delivery of my tank they…read morewould not install the actual tank parts, connections, and pump, and I'd have to climb inside this tank at some point and install and put together all the parts and submersible pump. I moved on with life and potentially even called it a misunderstanding on my part. Never even complained about it. I took two months to get a plumber out there to help me hook everything up using ladders and tow straps to enter and exit the tank through an 18 inch hole. Same day he realized we were missing the 10 foot tubing used for the water outlet. The tube that was provided was for the float filter so that may have created some confusion. After calling and trying to convince Liana that the part was not there after she argued with me for 5 minutes about it, I gave my plumber the phone so that he could convince her that we have eyes and need two sets of tubing...after a lot of arguing and waiting and calling us back an hour later, we settled another purchase by me of the tubing at cost $40. 100 vs 40 at cost. And btw I was willing to pay the full 100 as it's not a lot of money in terms of what I spent with them, but it was my plumber on the phone arguing for me...and she was actually arguing back! - over 100 bucks! Any math gurus out there want to solve for 100 sell point and a 40 dollar cost point for this 10 feet of tubing at 10 per ft? That's 150% mark up and they could potentially have this on all their items. I spent 5600 dollars with this company OTD, and they argued with me and poisoned a business relationship over 100 bucks (2% of the total purchase price) and ended up making me rebuy it at cost when it was never delivered in the first place. And poisoned it over not assembling my tank. This broad said she called and spoke with her team who delivered and they remembered delivering tubing to me. Over 100 bucks, and spent like an hour on this arguing with us and calling around to find some resolution. Yea your workers remember exactly all the parts they did or did not hand over to me two months ago...Right. You've been warned everyone. - Reply to the business owner: Interesting because I just called your business for a water delivery and asked about tanks as well, and got a direct referral to Southwest Water Tanks. Also, just got a direct quote from the horse's mouth (the person I was on the phone with) who said you were a "sister" company. Sounds like this was a little more thought out than just a "rant" on the wrong company's page huh?

They were right on the request for a change in schedule. Because of our driveway, I always get a call ahead of delivery, but I don't think that's a normal thing.. it's just the extra service Southwest provides. Pricing is competitive. Great company
