Man oh man, where do I even begin? One word comes to mind: OUTSTANDING…read more From the moment I walked in, the experience was exceptional. Sorra at the front desk was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. She took the time to explain the services they offer and even asked if it was my first Thai massage, which I appreciated because it showed she genuinely cared about understanding my expectations and comfort level. But the real star of the show was Nikki. Without a doubt, Nikki is the best massage therapist I have ever had--across both the United States and the Philippines. And that's saying a lot. I came in carrying the consequences of two consecutive workout days, tension headaches from work, and what felt like months' worth of stress stored in my muscles. Nikki immediately knew exactly what needed attention. She found every sore spot with incredible precision and consistently checked in to make sure the pressure was right. What impressed me most was that she didn't just provide a massage--she educated me throughout the session. She explained the importance of stretching, muscle recovery, circulation, and how tension affects the body. Her knowledge and professionalism were evident in everything she did. Every movement felt intentional, calculated, and therapeutic. She worked diligently from head to toe, and when I requested extra attention to my neck and head toward the end, she delivered exactly what I needed. She could immediately tell how tight and overworked my muscles were. Even the way she incorporated back-walking techniques felt incredibly controlled, safe, and effective. By the end of the session, I genuinely felt like a brand-new person. The heaviness I walked in with was gone. My pain and discomfort improved dramatically, and I felt lighter, looser, and more relaxed than I had in weeks. And can we talk about the balm she used? Absolutely magical. It had that soothing hot-cool sensation similar to Bengay, but far more refined and relaxing. Not overly hot, not overly cold--just perfect. Beyond her technical skill, Nikki was simply wonderful to talk to. She thoroughly explained what she was doing, shared stories about her life and her children, and made the entire experience feel personal and comfortable. She is relatable, genuine, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to connect with. There are good massages, there are great massages, and then there are the rare experiences that remind you what true expertise feels like. Nikki delivered that experience. If you're considering booking here, do yourself a favor and request Nikki. Your body will thank you. One final touch that made the experience even more special was the tea they served after the massage. Thank you, Sorra! I had to request for an extra cup. I honestly don't know exactly what kind it was, but it was absolutely delicious. I was told it was imported from Thailand, and it was the perfect way to end the session. Warm, soothing, and incredibly flavorful--it complemented the entire experience beautifully. It may seem like a small detail, but it's those thoughtful touches that make a place memorable!

After checking in and paying up front, you get taken to your room where you can undress to your liking. My massage started on time, which was nice. Nikki was great - asked me about pressure and had quick questions (like if she could step on my back) - and had my relaxed for my 60 minute massage. I enjoyed the incorporation of stretching in the full body massage. I left feeling great and energized.

Gale is super nice and sweet. I felt like I could call her Auntie. Her spot is in an interesting location, she has one of the small rooms in Sola Salons. I've lived in Cerritos my whole life and never new this salon existed. Her spot is small and quaint, Super clean and modern looking. Thank you Gale for taking care of me. I'm definitely recommending you to my fiancé, she'll really enjoy the relief that you can provide. Now time for me to head to the chiropractor.

If there's a Michelin rated massage award, CG Massage would be the top-rated award. I know it…read moresounds crazy but I've found the hidden gem!! I'm so blessed to know Gale, the owner of CG Massage with the gift of healing hands and the heart for serving people. Gale really relieves my knots and it's amazing that she can press the spot exactly before I even explain it myself. Below are some backgrounds and tips if you are thinking to visit for the first time: Gale is legit. She used to be an independent contractor for Chiropractic Offices assisting Chiropractors and Physical Therapist Doctors and Acupuncturist. Now she finally has her own office which is the CGMassage. Gale is outstanding with her skills. I came to her with sore muscles but I couldn't point out where exactly hurts and Gale could just press to the exact spot. This is truly amazing to me by having someone knows better about how you're feeling. PACKAGE There are so many and whichever you picked will end up relaxing in the end. I personally chose the combination massage which is combined treatment of Swedish (promotes circulation), Deep Tissue (releases deep pain and muscle tension), Sports (promotes flexibility and decrease the risk of injury), Trigger Point (relieve stress and a tight area within muscle tissue) and Cranial Sacral (happy head massage that help relieve my horrible TMJ and headache). LOCATION & SPACE The office is located on the 2nd floor of the corner building on Gridley and 183 St ( Same plaza from the KongFuTea and the flower shop). The building signage says "SOLA SALONS", and you'll need to take the elevator up to #212. Space is cozy with one bed only like the VIP clinic style. Make sure to call Gale 24 hours in advance to make an appointment because Gale works only one person at a time. The place was sparkling clean and super relaxing. I immediately feel peaceful after I entered the office. It was calm with quietness and the dim light makes it perfect. PROCEDURE The first timer needs to fill out a form for Gale to help her get to know your medical information, so expect to arrive 10 minutes prior to your schedule. There would be a spot to put your clothes, and you can relax for the healing message! PAYMENT Gale uses Square, so she accepts credit cards. ___ I can't wait to be back soon for another amazing massage and I will highly recommend CG Therapeutic Touch to my relatives and friends!

Not to mention she is the sweetest human being as well! I was so hesitant to trust anyone with a massage especially while I was pregnant but after reading her bio on the website and learning she is also a doula- I felt at ease. I've been trying to see her at least every other week because she is just that amazing. She genuinely cares about her clients' wellbeing and even follows up with sending stretches to do in the meantime through email. This place is so lucky to have her! She's so good she gets booked up so fast, but she deserves all that love!

The best 90 minutes of my life!…read more As a Yelp Elite, I've had my fair share of massages, and I can confidently say my 90-minute session at GMedical Spa with Mateo was hands-down the best massage I've ever had in my life. From the moment I arrived, Mateo made me feel completely comfortable and welcomed me with the welcome package I booked. I decided to add on myofascial work for my neck, shoulders, and quads, and WOW... best decision ever. He somehow knew exactly where all my problem areas were and went straight to work. No guessing, no wasted time...just pure relief. I will officially no longer be going to those Thai massages where they stomp all over me . Mateo's technique was incredibly effective, but I was also completely relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I left feeling so rested, loose, and relaxed that I honestly didn't want the 90 minutes to end. I'm already excited for my next session because I'll be adding cupping! If you're looking for someone who truly listens to your body and knows exactly how to work out the areas that need attention, book with Mateo. You will not regret it!

I enjoyed the experience so much that I returned a week later. Unfortunately, my second experience was frightening and dangerous. The therapist was a very petite woman, probably around 5 feet tall and under 110 pounds. At first, I barely felt any pressure, so I asked her to apply more. She then rolled up her pants and began stepping on my back. What really scared me was when she stepped on my neck. The pressure was so intense that I couldn't breathe. She continued stepping on the back of my neck but I didn't know whether this technique was normal so I didn't speak up at the time. For the rest of the day, my neck felt sore, but I didn't think much of it. Now, two months later, I'm still experiencing an uncomfortable sensation in my neck. Something is tight or restricting my throat. Sometimes, it feels like food is getting stuck when I swallow. I didn't have these symptoms before. I'm concerned that the pressure applied to my neck may have caused an injury. I question whether the therapist was properly trained to perform this technique. As I was leaving, she held out her hand and asked for a tip, which made me feel pressured to give one despite my uncomfortable experience. I won't be returning.
