As we talked over zoom ,Alicia was knowledgeable and professional and really tried to help answer all my tax questions as I asked her about solar credit for our vacation home here in Kamuela. I have talked to a local CPA here in Kona and it took me almost 10 days to be able to talk to someone , then the CPA said he needed to look at my last year return in order to " accept " us .. then after meeting with CPA ,I had a question before making my decision and no one returned my call!!! Anyway wholeheartedly recommend Verity and wish your company continued success in your future.

I can't say enough positive comments about the Yuda's. Mike & his wife Misa are a fantastic team…read more Misa is a meticulous bookkeeper and Mike has decades of accounting experience. The Yuda's started at ground zero with my business. Beginning with properly organizing and inputting over 1.5 years of receipts, filing back taxes, delving deep into the business to find write-offs I easily overlooked being a first time business owner. Having a new business in the food/hospitality sector is consuming. The Yuda's are persistent when significant due dates arise and flexible in scheduling. The SERVICES are TAILORED to YOUR BUDGET. Pricing is up-front. Whether you have years of taxes/accounting to catchup on or are seeking a second look from a knowledgable professional I trust the Yuda's. PROS: - Diligent - Two professional services for the price of one (bookkeeper + CPA) - Available last minute - Reliable - Sooooo Patient - Sincerely interested in helping your business succeed

They were not able to understand how my job and income works. They were putting $15,000+ into the wrong bank account every month despite saying multiple times that I didn't want them to put it in there. When I informed them I was leaving, I thanked them for their services. Completely ignored. It was quite snobby and rude. Over the phone, I again thanked the woman for her services. She said "oh, ok." then hung up. Their attitude completely changed the moment I told them I'd be moving on. Mediocre service and unprofessionalism so I'm giving 5/10.

CAUTION: HiAccounting - Cannot Recommend…read more I am not a current client of HiAccounting but I requested help from them with tax preparation and a more urgent tax planning project. I called numerous times before leaving two (2) voicemails and NOT ONCE did anyone pick up the phone when I called at different times on different days. NEVER. Ridiculous and awful. Two (2) voicemails left on August 19, 2026 and August 25, 2026. I slowly, clearly, and competently left my email address and phone number both times. HiAccounting NEVER responded. Please note: I check my email spam folder 2-3 times per day and the spam setting is set up to ONLY delete messages that are 30 days old. My voicemail setting is set up to show all calls AND attempted calls even if no voicemail is left. The HiAccounting phone system was ALWAYS malfunctioning EVERY single time I called, directing callers to push extension numbers that led nowhere. Today's advanced technology currently exists that can place visible pop-up messages on websites, and/or send automated responses to inform people of companies' intentions or ability to respond, if they are accepting new clients or not, and if delayed responses should be expected, etc. NONE of this on the HiAccounting website. I also did not receive any automated responses to my messages. Disturbing and puzzling. The Key Question is this: Is HiAccounting tax software and accounting programs, guidance and other technology also incompetent, useless and unreliable? Of course, the HiAccounting website includes all the usual boastful, sentimental and pretty language stating how great they are and how devoted they are to customer oriented service. Big talk. Actions are what matters. So what do we have here? What should we make of my experience? What impressions and conclusions should be drawn? HiAccounting: Lack of professionalism Lack of basic, common reasonable courtesy Lack of a conscientiousness, caring & concerned attitude Lack of organizational skills & management Lack of time management skills Lack of adequate staff Lack of cutting edge technology Are these fair and reasonable impressions and conclusions? One, some or all of the above? Ok, we agree. Tax preparation, tax concerns, IRS problems and issues, and accounting all require tax firms to possess timeliness, effective technology, proper communication and responsiveness AND NOT LACKING in any of the skills and qualities that I mentioned directly above. Am I right? HiAccounting can just as easily fail you as they failed me, client or not. Given my unacceptable experience, what do you think the odds are that HiAccounting will also fail you? Will they ever call back after they take your money? Will you be able to connect to anyone's extension? Is the gamble worth your hard earned money and potential IRS problems and fines? If and when HiAccounting responds to this review: Please ask yourself if the HiAccounting response adequately justifies their failure to respond to me. Does their response give you confidence that you won't also suffer the same experience as me? What deficiencies in competence and attitude have been corrected so that their monumental failure with me will not happen to you after you fork over hundreds of dollars to HiAccounting and you maybe have an urgent tax or finance issue? So if you are convinced that HiAccounting may be lacking in professionalism, basic, reasonable courtesy, a conscientiousness, caring & concerned attitude, organizational skills & management, time management skills, adequate staff, and current cutting edge technology, why not seek out any of the other numerous competent and caring tax professionals out there? A ton of worthy competition out there. Do you have to settle for unsatisfactory service for your critically important tax needs? No you don't.
