We live in Sacramento, but had never been to the wineries in Amador thus a new adventure awaited us. We first stopped at Iron Hub, which was so peaceful and filled with delicious wines. My favorite was Semillion 2023. From there we went to RomBauer where Paul brought food for us as we tasted more yummy wines. The venue was so inviting with the big oaks and ample sitting. Our third stop was Armador Cellars, an organic and natural venue that felt grounding and intimate. It was a perfect place to end our wind tour. My favorite wine there was the Barbera 2021, so scumpty & smooth! After a lot of wine, we needed food and that is where Taste (that's the restaurant) came into play. Holy moly, this is a Must if you are in the area. I'm vegan, but my husband and our friends are not. That being said, Taste caters to both and oh my goodness every bite in the 3-course dinner was amazing. I ate everything, which rarely happens. Our server, Bess, was absolutely perfect in every way.
