Adam is a very fair business man to deal with. I highly recommend this business. They have excellent communication, as well.

I then hear a welcome to AutoZone coming from the back of the store and it was from the youngest employee in the store. I found that strange because usually, the young generation are usually the ones lacking the customer service experience. Anyway, I went to look for my light bulb to find there was no reference book to determine what bulb I needed so I went to the counter to see if I could get some assistance. I finally saw a female employee walking around talking about she needed a paper towel. I called her and asked if there was someplace I could look to see what bulb I needed to purchase. The look she gave me was if I had just asked her to do something out of her pay grade and looked totally annoyed. She the abruptly asked, what model car. I gave her the info and she typed into the computer and just turned the screen around for me to view never saying another word. I then said, that is not the type of bulb. She the abruptly turned the screen towards her and typed into something else. Turned the screen back to me, I viewed it and still did not see what I was looking for. At this point, I am annoyed and decided to go elsewhere. I thank her, she did not reply, then walked away and started communicating with another employee in the front of the store never ever saying more to me except asking the model of my car. As I was proceeding to leave, another customer was walking in to get help with a battery. My previous clerk did not acknowledge him BUT, the young man who acknowledged my presence stepped up and asked the customer if he could help him. The clerk grabbed a battery tester and went out to assist the customer. I politely went across the street to O'Reilly were the service was exceptional and I was in and out in 5 minutes with my bulbs. I would suggest promoting the young guy at AutoZone because he seemed to have the skills the female clerk, who did not want to do her job,was lacking. She definitely was not at AutoZone to do her job on Thursday, May 29th around 9:30am.

Normally I don't go to any auto body shops alone because of how women are treated. But yesterday my grandfather as well as my mechanic were busy so I figured I can grab the parts on my way home from work. I was told by Ronald or Donald, that they only have the fender but the bumper would still be out of stock for the next few weeks. I asked him did he think I should wait on the bumper so that I can purchase both parts at one time. He told me that the company didn't care whether I bought the parts are not, that it wasn't going to hurt their feelings. I was so utterly confused by this comment because I asked a valid question. I'm not sure if he was trying to impress another man that came in that he was friends with, but he just was so rude. All he needed to let me know, was that I have the choice of waiting on the other part to purchase both, but by that time the part may be gone. It's that simple. Why bring up anything about me hurting your feelings when it was SUPPOSED to be a place of business. My dad was livid when I told him about my experience because he always gets my parts from the location in Hazelwood. He also tried to offer me a job after talking to me with such disgust and rudeness. I wouldn't dream of working in a place like that alongside a person like that !! I won't be spending another dime here. This was yesterday by the way. I've never wrote a review online but I was so surprised. Another customer suggested I go to well fit. They have similar parts and maybe better customer service. Ronald you should be ashamed of yourself !

But I noticed they were offering a $7 REBATE on a gallon of Antifreeze. I sent the rebate form in and after TWO MORE MONTHS I finally got my "reward card" from Advance. Took it into this store on Lindbergh and the staff was RUDE, CRUDE and totally INCOMPETENT. They could not figure out how to process the $7 REBATE that their own company had sent me. One A-hole asked: "WHERE DID YOU GET THIS? WHERE DID YOU FIND IT?" As if I had found it on the sidewalk somewhere. The DARK complected sales associate walked off from the counter because he said: "I CAN'T DEAL WITH THIS TODAY." The two other morons told me "THE CARD HAS NOT BEEN ACTIVATED." So I called the tollfree number on the card and the person said "THE CARD IS ACTIVATED AND READY TO USE." When I tried to swipe the magnetic strip, their system was UNABLE to read the strip because, as I was told the strips on SOME CARDS DO NOT FUNCTION, and that the counter guy would need to just type in the numbers to make it work. THE BLACK CASHIER WALKED OFF and some booze breath white guy took the card and told me they COULD NOT ACCEPT THEIR OWN REBATE CARD. Hands down, the MOST INAPPROPRIATE, UNPROFESSIONAL, DIP-STICK half-wits I have ever encountered at a retail establishment. I own 32 CLASSIC CARS and WILL NEVER GO TO ADVANCE AUTO PARTS AGAIN. Time to board up the store and go OUT OF BUSINESS, because you have no brains and no ethics. What a collection of LOSERS ! I was about to have them order an alternator for me, but their inability to accomplish this SIMPLE TASK made that impossible.

I called down there and tried to explain what I thought had happened and that I had been overcharged, and that I didn't have a receipt, because I was not offered one at all. The person on the phone was extremely rude to me. I asked to speak with a manager, but they just put me on hold and then hung up on me. I called back again, same thing happened. I asked to speak to someone else, put me on, hold, hung up on me so then I decided to go down there, talk to somebody in person when I got there, of course, they knew who I was. Probably the only female that had been there that morning. They ran back into the office notified my arrival, but then completely ignored me.\n Finally, an employee came out to talk to me. And\n Told me that, since I had bought 4 tires. It was more expensive because it was a full set. Which is odd because it's actually the direct opposite. It's less expensive when you buy off 4\n He asked if my tires had an orange line on them, which made them a set and no, they did not 3 of the 4 had an orange line but they did not all have line painted on them. They refuse to give me a receipt. They would not look up my order by the receipt number. They one hundred percent know I only bought four tires , and they charge me the price of 5. If you're a woman, don't ever go here because they will 100% rip you off, they are a bunch of crooks.

I came to Al's Auto Salvage on Lucas Hunt in January to get two of my car windshields replaced. As a person who's been to this location prior and has worked and been a trainer in the customer service field for 20 plus years, it is my pleasure to give a shout out to Nick and Al's Auto Salvage. Nick made my day and allowed my experience to be delightful. The smile on my face begun when I pulled into Al's Auto Salvage and Nick came out to my car and he made me feel like I was part of the Al's Auto Salvage family. Nick was warming, opening and welcoming. Nick then provided me with a step by step agenda of what was going to be done to both my cars. Nick then provided me with how long it would take to have my windshields replaced just in case I had other obligations. Nick also listened to my questions and feedback which showed me that he respects me, valued me and respected my time as a customer. Me and Nick had an open conversation while he was fixing my windshields. After completing the windshields, Nick asked for my return business which I told him I would do so along with recommending others. After a month, I forgot that I didn't get my new windshield wipers put on. I then went back to Al's Auto Salvage without a scheduled appointment. Nick saw me and got me right in. Nick put on my windshield wipers in less than 5 minutes and got me on my way. Because I think a good deed should not go unknown, I decided to bring Nick lunch and write this letter to show my appreciation. I ask and recommend that if you need a new or fixed windshield, please look at Al's Auto Salvage where the price is reasonable, and the service is exceptional. I would just recommend that the waiting on hold would be faster.
