Well, if you're like me, then you may already know that Peterson is conveniently located on the west bound side of Rt. 9, and they are nearly always the cheapest in the area...at least for 93 octane gas. I grew up in NJ where it was illegal to pump your own gas. So, I don't mind pumping my own gas. I'm a responsible adult. But, Peterson will pump your gas for you, which admittedly, can be really nice when it is raining or below freezing, as it is so often here in New England. And when they pump your gas, they're friendly. That's about all I have to say about that. Convenient gas at a good price. 5 stars.

Instead of just doing his job, Steve got completely unhinged and racist. Because my partner and I are people of color (Latina and Black), he aggressively demanded to know if we were "from here" and actually threatened to call ICE. When we pointed out how unreasonable he was being, he mocked us, saying things like "What is that, a science?" and told us "I'm not trying be here all day, go somewhere else next time" even though the station wasn't even busy. As paying customers, being targeted with racism and threatened with immigration enforcement over a basic, harmless request is beyond disgusting. Management needs to fire Steve immediately. We will never return.

I know it's not the biggest deal but it was nostalgic for me. I remembered my first car and in the bitter cold having an attendant pump gas for 89 cents a gallon. The gas station attendant was super kind and struck up a conversation. It was nice not to have to get out of the car and pump gas. Before you know it, he was handing me my credit card and the receipt. I'm not sure about the quality of gasoline but my rental drove just fine on the gas all over MA and CT. The prices were great and the location was convenient. What more could you want from a gas station?

Just today, I went to try to get gas and had to try four different pumps. The machines will scan your card accepted and then just won't give you gas after about 15 minutes. I simply had to leave without getting any gas because I was now gonna be late for work. I don't know why they call the gas station if they don't give gas.

Yes, it's not as luxurious to shop in, it's usually mobbed, the aisles are tight and the parking lot sucks. Produce is not as great in some items, and they don't carry as many super-speciality foods as Whole Foods or Stop & Shop. However, the people who work there are amazing. They are abundant (try almost every checkout line open during rush) and helpful, and friendly, and the store is well stocked and well managed. No self checkout crap. You don't need it, there's always a line open. We'd kill for an upgraded facility like the nicer newer Market Baskets that do exist, but our Bellingham store crew, from the managers to the baggers are amazing, and make shopping here worth the visit. Their meat department is wonderful, the seafood is great and if you can get near the deli, they work hard and are great too. Finally, a shout out to the bakery and prepared food folks - they are awesome. The food is great and they couldn't be more helpful. We love MB, just wish it was as a new one. Oh, and don't go near the place the day before a major snowstorm, or any Sunday at noon. Plan your visit if possible. 5 stars for the staff and people and management, 3 for the facility.
