We have called Mario and team out a few times since the last time they were here, less than a year…read moreago, for different projects. Both times they have been simply amazing (again). The first time, a ceiling panel randomly fell down. (Not one they had worked on - we moved into a new house and a panel fell one night). They came out promptly and repaired. Then, another one fell down a couple weeks later, and again, Mario came right out, gave us a quote, and repaired! One of the pics is of the panel. Doesn't look like much because it's a white ceiling, but it's perfect! Then, we have this doorway/frame separating our living room and family room. We tore off the trim, my partner made an arch shape (to match the other doorways), and we asked Mario and his team to come drywall, plaster, and paint the whole entry way/sides/etc. They made it absolutely spectacular. It's just gorgeous and the rooms flow so beautifully now!!!!

Mario's team did significant exterior carpentry and paint work on our brownstone condo building. He…read morewas extremely responsive to additional requests and able to accommodate expansion of work and the team was diligent and thorough in execution of the work. Further the quote and price of the work was extremely reasonable and quality was still superb! In the front, they scraped and prepped the entryway, front door, and 2nd floor bay window as well as removing and patching the transom frame to open the space up--they then painted everything including the window trim across all three floors. In the rear of the home they scraped our wood siding and replaced any rotted wood with PVC, then repainted in a color drench. The team also removed a wood basement entry structure that was rotting in the back and replaced with a newly framed door. Lastly the team also removed old and installed new custom basement windows in the front granite of our home including new trim and waterproofing, as well as painting. The team also did small finishing touches at no extra charge including installing a new entry light and hanging window boxes. We are already planning future projects with Mario and his team!

Ridge Painting and Restoration was not the cheapest of the estimates we got (nor the most expensive) but Kieran's straight forward communication as well as the very positive reviews on Yelp led us to hire them. Since I was coordinating the job with him from across the country, communication was very important. Kieran was very reponsive, thorough, and prompt, answering all questions completely and keeping us up-to-date on any scheduling changes. He's professional, friendly, and clearly cares about his work. He and his team worked diligently and meticulously, cleaned things up daily, and followed through on any final concerns. I would 100% hire Ridge Painting for future jobs

We hired Ridge Painting to paint and repair the exterior of our 2-story home in Cambridge. The job…read morewas challenging, because the house, which is covered in cedar shingles, needed alot of shingle and wood trim replacement, as well as sanding and painting. Kieran listened to our goals for the job, and he consistently took those into account throughout the job. Kieran, who managed the job with great care, and his crew performed excellently! They were hard working, efficient, considerate of us and our neighbors, cleaned up at the end of each day, and they completed the job within the estimated timeline and right on budget, even though they did extra work outside the contract, because they wanted the work done completely with high quality. Also, Kieran is easy and accessible for discussions and update reports, all in person. Kieran personally managed his crew each day, and he made sure everything was done to a high standard. Ridge Painting impressed me very much with their dedication to quality throughout the process and with their great attitudes about their work.

I called Josh and talked to him about my house that is huge and old; as I told him, I needed to repair the windows before the paint job could be completed. Josh said that he knew a carpenter who could do the windows and would paint the house after the repairs were done. As it turned out, I needed to get 27 windows fixed. So I had a bargain, a good carpenter who was ready to go up three stories to get my windows on the top floor and a painter who was going to paint my three-decker. Eventually, J&J came after all the repairs were completed and painted my house in 10 days. They were extremely efficient, professional, and pleasant to deal with. They answered my concerns by scraping, sanding, and caulking all surfaces. They used primer and good paint. Some of my neighbors came over to Josh to ask him whether he could paint their houses too. There was no drama, no mess. They told me in advance to inform other residents not to use the common area for a day or two. I definitely hope to hire them for inside jobs and recommend them for outside painting.
