This is officially a new part of my routine. I will definitely be going back to Eyla every six weeks for my brow lamination and lash lift/tint. I can't recommend them enough!

There were a few things that lead to my review…read more The first is, when I got to my appointment, my technician was still working on someone (which is nbd). After a few minutes of waiting, the previous client left, and she had me immediately lie down on the same table. They didn't wipe down the table or use sanitation/disposable cloths, which kind of bothered me. I requested for a wispy lash look. Typically at my previous appointments at various lash extension salons, the technician would ask me detailed questions about my preferences, and ask me what length, curliness, and volume I like. I wasn't asked any questions, only told to show me a picture of lashes I wanted. I felt like the extension process was fine, was poked a few times. Finally I was disappointed at how fast my lashes fell off (~5 days), which was a bummer because I got them done to look nice for a bachelorette party coming up in a week. I felt like the appointment was fast (45-55minutes).

I was on the fence about getting brow service because of the cost but in Santa Monica because my…read morefirst experience was in Santa Monica and they were wonderful and professional. They said that I could get the service the same day, I had my consultation in fact. I've been out of the state and I saw last pilot on Groupon giving a brow service which is I think called Nano brows it's a tattoo process, for a much lower price than their $700 starting price. For me that was perfect. It expires in May and I am coming through town in Santa Monica and I tried to reach them. I got the person who thanked me on my last review when I had my free consultation before. Her name was Tram. Today was a completely different story. I don't know what happened between the time I was there and now. Maybe this company sold to somebody else and they are not handling things well and certainly not treating people who have a Groupon the same as their high paying customers. First of all the phone tree is this automated thing you have to press one or two to get to either Santa Monica or Newport I pressed one and got the same person . Kept informing me that they didn't have any appointments with the person that does the brows. I told her I had a Groupon. She just kept putting me off and saying the person will be available because they're moving. It was pretty much BS. What it really was they put a group on out that they did not want to honor. I go to refund now through Groupon but this place at least the one in Santa Monica used to be really great I think it's really gone downhill if it even exists anymore. If they could have done my brows I would have given them a high rating because when I was in there the first time they treated me like gold I think that things have changed.

I'm writing to share my experience during my recent appointment for an NAD IV infusion. I was…read morereally looking forward to the treatment, so I was disappointed by how the visit ultimately went and wanted to bring it to your attention. When I first arrived for my appointment, the provider attempted to place the IV several times but was unable to access a vein. I believe I was poked about five times before I was asked to come back later and try again. I returned a few hours afterward, hoping the second attempt would be smoother. Unfortunately, the same difficulty occurred. The provider attempted multiple placements again -- in both arms, my foot, my ankle, and eventually my hand. I did mention beforehand that I have very small veins and that IV placement is often difficult for me. When I have IVs done at medical offices, they typically use a smaller "baby needle," which tends to work better for me. I did mention this, but that needle wasn't used. Eventually an IV was placed in my hand. However, while it was being taped down, the IV was jerked, which immediately made me feel like it may have shifted out of the vein. The provider reassured me that it was still properly placed and proceeded to start the infusion. Within about 5-10 minutes, my hand began burning intensely and swelling near my wrist. It also felt extremely cold to the touch. I mentioned this right away and was told that some burning can be normal with NAD. However, the pain and swelling continued to increase -- my fingers began swelling and my arm started to swell as well. At that point I was very concerned that the IV was not actually in the vein. I asked for the IV to be removed because the pain had become severe. Initially there was hesitation to stop the infusion, but I insisted because it hurt so badly. Unfortunately, I had to stop the treatment early and ended up wasting more than half of the IV bag. Because of the number of attempts, the swelling, and having to stop the infusion prematurely, the experience was really uncomfortable and discouraging -- especially since the treatment was quite expensive and something I had been looking forward to. I'm reaching out because I wanted to share what happened and see if there might be a way to resolve the situation. I value your services and would appreciate any consideration you can offer regarding the cost of the treatment or a possible solution.
