I love that Visalia has places for kids to have fun creative & safe environment! My son is 1yr & absolutely loves this place! We enjoyed his 1st bday here. My friend's children also have had parties we enjoyed here! The space is huge and has different rooms to enjoy! Our favorite is outside my son loves the bikes and track also the fishing is a lot of fun! It's all clean and organized which we love! The staff is always friendly & helpful especially setting up for parties!

We just recently discovered this place! Not too far from Fresno. My kids really found this children's play center so fun and enriching. Super tidy and clean inside. They have staff present throughout the establishment indoors and outdoors. You will find different play areas in each corner, each with themed differently. The kids can climb, read a book, pretend play, draw, paint, and there is an outdoor play area as well. It's a pretty big play center and offers free lockers for parents and guest to put their belongings away without carrying it around. They do not serve food here but there are many restaurants nearby. Once you paid for admission, you can come and go as you please. They also offer a membership package as well that's worth the price if you want to come more often. Restrooms are clean and kids friendly with stools to stand on for shorter kids. Staffs were super friendly. Coming back for sure.

Fun museum that will keep the kids busy exploring. We enjoy their magnetic fishing pond and the musical instruments outdoor. Friendly staff and clean establishment.

Imagine U is definitely a place to come to if you're young or young at heart!! You will learn something as there are so many "hands on"exhibits to check out! What's nice is there are a lot of agriculture themed areas so those that are not familiar with the agriculture community it's a good learning museum not seen in other cities! There are indoor and outdoor activities. There are plenty of employees assisting and re-setting the projects to be ready for the next child that comes by. The coolest one I thought was the Citrus theme area. You get to pick the oranges and run them through a sorter by hand cranking all the packing lines to pack the oranges and return them back up in an air tube! Thanks to all the sponsors and businesses that helped put this together! I wish there was something like this when I was growing up!

nursery!!! so clean!!!

One of the best children's museums we ever been to and we go to so many!!!! everything is literally top-notch and the quality of each toys are amazing! I seriously felt like I was at Disneyland at one point the outdoors activities that is! I extremely love the nursery that they have and it is so clean and I absolutely loved it !!! parking was really easy to find there was a lot of parking available and you can also park on the side street as well. It is free. Museum Hours: Friday 9am-1pm | Saturday & Sunday 9am-5pm | Monday 9am-1pm *Closed to the public Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to allow for school field trips they have absolutely everything and I really like the painting station that they had and it was super cool because you get to put the apron on and you go into the cool glass area to paint that was so awesome! I love the outdoors and that you can fish in the little pond that they have. I thought that was super cool. Our kids really loved it. They even have like a little tricycle area that you can bike in!! Overall, this is A+ and I seriously would come here again if I didn't live five hours away lol 1000% recommend !!!

It was a fun place to take my 3 1/2 year old toddler. So much activities inside and out. Very clean. Workers walking around keeping everything tighty. Can throw parties here and has a quiet area for kids that need a moment to themselves.

We came here for a field trip and we had the best time! We were able to do all the different sections, and also hanged out outside and there is so much space, you don't feel like you are on top of each other and each section has a variety of games and activities and items for them to explore and play with and learn about. I love places like this, takes their brains out of the norm and they learn and interact with real life scenarios and is filled with creativity and fun!

There are a lot of activities for the kids all organized in themed sections of the museum. It felt to be more focused on kids under 5/6. I took my 8 year old and 3 year old. The 8 year old had fun but he was almost too big for a lot of the activities. The 3 year old had a blast. Everything was clean and in good condition

So much to explore in every little corner

Met up with a friend here to have a play date. Our children range in age from 10-5yrs old. They all had a blast! We were here on a Friday, practically the whole day from opening to closing time. Our children were able to cover the whole museum in that time, although they could have played longer had we not had leave lol. Also, you can pack a lunch and eat in the picnic area. That's what we did so we could make the most of our time there.

We really enjoyed this place! I wish there was something like it in Fresno. My oldest two (10 & 13)even had fun but was done after two hours, but my 3 year old could have lived there! I think if it wasn't such a busy day that we would have lasted longer. -Hours: they are only open Monday & Friday 9am-1pm and Saturday & Sunday 9am-5pm -Price: adults were $10 each and kids over the age of 1 years old is $15 They do have a senior price (63+) $7.50 and if you have an EBT card it's $7.50 for up to 4 people. -Parking spaces are across the street and a few on the street around the building Overall we had a great experience

I have never experienced anything this - you have to really appreciate the amount of work, design and detail by Baldassare Forestiere - truly a feat! Very grateful the family makes this available for tours. Highly recommend if you appreciate gardening, architecture, art, engineering etc. They also did a great job of reminding me of my appointment and following up afterwards. The gardens were built in an unexpected park of Fresno and these is a lot of history behind them. Parking was somewhat difficult but once you enter, the staff were very kind, organized, and positive. Our tour guide Raul was super sweet and provided a lot of history regarding the gardens and the family who built them. Raul had my 3 young boys engaged and interested. He answered all my questions and was so open to conversation. You could tell Raul was proud to be there telling all of us how the Gardens came to be. The Gardens are very interesting. I've never seen anything quite like these. The smell of all the citrus trees combine with the natural cooling underground was amazing and made the tour comfortable. If you have any time i do recommend visiting these secret gardens.

Entrance is I believe $10 per adult and kids, and toddlers under 2 are free! The museum is 3 stories. First story is geared more towards sciency and architectural exhibits. There was lots of space for my toddler to explore and walk around. The second story was our favorite. It was a whole make believe little city with its own version of the "gum wall alley". My toddler loved the make believe restaurant and kitchen. There was plenty of space for all the toddlers and kids to play around, along with the adults. The third story was a smaller room, but also fun with more toys and trinkets. There was also an outdoor space for snack time and taking break, and what looked like a big water table with a big rubber duckie! Overall, such a fun experience, and a great way to burn off your toddler's energy. We spent around 1.5 hours in the museum. We can't wait to go back again and to see how different my toddler will be then since he is still learning and growing.

**This review is from August 2025**…read more We lucked out on our drive back from Yosemite. On a whim, we turned into a neighborhood in Independence to look at some early 1900s homes and noticed what appeared to be a small museum. When we walked in, we were greeted by the nicest woman, who warmly welcomed us and mentioned there were clean restrooms in the back. They were, without question, the cleanest bathrooms we encountered during our entire trip. The museum was much larger than we expected. One side featured a beautiful collection of Native American baskets in a wide range of shapes, all with intricate and impressive designs. The other side was filled with historical artifacts from the region, offering a fascinating glimpse into the area's past. Eastern California Museum turned out to be one of the most memorable stops of our trip. Edited to add: We made the three-hour drive back to the museum last month so we could spend more time exploring. It was another great experience

The volunteers shared information about #18, which they lovingly restored.
