I took my MEETUP group to Gregory's Vineyard this past weekend and all 15 people enjoyed our wine…read moretasting experience immensely! Nate was exceptional, he took his time giving us a full history about each bottle of wine served. (with enthusiasm) Teresa kept the group entertained with a spontaneous raffle that everyone enjoyed. We stayed for dinner at Lane' Steakhouse and Seafood. The food was fresh and prepared to order! After dinner, we retreated outside to enjoy a BEAUTIFUL view of the vineyard. I attended a wine tasting in Mykonos Greece several months ago that is no comparison to our experience at Gregory's in the good ole USA! If you were thinking about going, go! You will not be disappointed! Happy tasting! Allissa

I also appreciated that he made an effort to get to know each of us and made us all feel welcome. He even made his own posters to help enhance some of his stories and gave prizes for a few trivia-type questions! I thought the tour did a good job of highlighting the important places that make Raleigh, well, Raleigh. For a 3 hour tour (including a few bonuses), I'd say this tour was money well spent. I'm leaving with a better understanding of the city, some of it's hot tourist attractions, and some of its history. Aim for a day with good weather. While it is a bus tour, you do go outside and walk around to explore a few places. It would have been a bummer to take this tour on a rainy day because you'd lose out on the full experience. Wear comfortable clothes and definitely bring a camera. I think the only minor con (not even a full con, just something that made me laugh) was that it says a meal and a drink are included with the tour, but don't expect anything fancy. You stop at a little hot dog spot and get a homemade taste of one of the city's claim-to-fame drinks in a dixie cup. With that said, though, I highly recommend this tour!

Brad was very knowledgeable, interesting and informative. We enjoyed learning the history of Raleigh and North Carolina. It's amazing how much you can learn in just a few hours. Summary: 4.0 - Free and art go hand-in-hand here. If you like both, NC MoA is worth your time…read more Free admission to the NCMA to see art and history is a gift. If one doesn't mind the West Building (although new, it felt old to me), the different galleries containing historical art pieces (new and old, and very old) organized by continents are educational and surprisingly full of variety. The East Building (original one) hosts both permanent and limited-time collections. I've enjoyed a car exhibit, but my favorite limited-time exhibit featured Academy Award winner Ruth E. Carter's costumes for the movies "Black Panther", "Selma", "Amistad", and others. Her showcase exhibit was well worth the price of admission. A huge museum park provides miles of trails and places for picnics. If one plans accordingly, a series of trails connects all the way from the museum to downtown Raleigh! MISC Opened in 1956. Has pieces that originate from about 5,000 years ago (but thankfully it doesn't take that long to go through the museum). The museum is accessibility-friendly. A museum store and café are onsite. Tours are available. Outdoor concerts are on hiatus at the time of this review for "facility improvements." Be sure to check the museum's website for updates.

Is that a giant bike with a group of friends laughing and drinking beer? OMG! How is that even legal?!" ...was my knee-jerk reaction to seeing the Trolley Pub for first time. After wiping the shock from my face, I declared, "If that 's legal, I gotta do it! And if it's not legal, I still wanna do it!" Fast forward six months, and I just dismounted from my first trip on the Trolley Pub... This, my friends, is something you all have to experience! If you're visiting or a resident of Wilmington and like to have FUN, ditch the ho-hum Aquarium and do something you'll be talking about tor days! I noticed there's a lot reviews here that talk about Jeff, and what a great Trolley Pub guide he is. Well, there's a reason he's mentioned in reviews often. He set the stage for the great time we all had, and pulled a command performance as tour guide for beer drinkers. "You are going to have fun, and there's no going back now," says Jeff when boarding the Trolley Pub. And was that the truth!
