Cincinnati has an amazing amount of high-quality public art and monuments. It is something we have here in Louisville but we don't have as much or as much NICE stuff. We have these janky banners that say, "Christopher's Louisville" and a photograph of the human being from notable jurists, to actors, to just about anyone who can make a banner at Kinkos. Cincy has a these beautiful murals and statues all over. It's prime.
The "Imagine Peace and Unity" Arch is located in Over the Rhine and is a great example of public art. It's a mosaic of mixed media in a tiny public park on a busy street. It look like a spot of colorful calm in the riot of urban life. It really brightens up an already lovely area. read more
