How can u call urself a recruiter but get upset at the candidates u handle for expressing how they feel. This company is for the companies they work for and not the candidates. I will never work with this company again because they treat there candidates like trash.

I have looked into many staffing and temp services. Many made me nervous after my first call to…read morethem. They acted like they were very busy, asked for a lot of information from me, and then rushed getting me into the office. One that my husband and I walked into was so frustrating to deal with that we both left feeling taken advantage of and pushed around. Aerotek was different. When I talked to the representative he was helpful, informative, and up front with me. He also didn't ask for all my information right away, only my resume by email. He set up a time to come to the office (in a very relaxed manor that made me feel it was truly on MY time) and explained that it will be like a 'first interview' so that they can get a feel for what I was looking for and how I would fit with their customers. At the interview, I filled out some basic information similar to information asked at a first interview at any place I have ever applied too. The representative greeted me with in 10 mins of having my paperwork done. He spent the first part of the interview explaining to me how Aerotek Staffing worked and asked for questions from me. He then conducted a great interview that left me feeling like he understood my skills and experience very well. He asked great questions and returned feedback on my answers that demonstrated an understanding of what I had described to him. If this was all that Aerotek had done, I would have felt like it was outstanding compared to all the other companies I had contacted. But they kept going! Other companies had wanted me to sign paperwork as soon as possible with clauses that made me feel trapped with them. Some would state that I couldn't work with any other staffing company for a certain time period, some even said that if I got a job on my own I could still end up owing the agency for up to 3 months of a portion of my pay that I HAD to report to them. At Aerotek, they had NO paperwork or contracts to sign. The representative TOLD ME at the interview to keep looking on my own for work! With in 2 months my representative contacted me about 4 different jobs he felt I would do well in. He gave me the company name, brief information, and asked for my permission to send them my resume. One of the companies wanted me to take a typing test which Aerotek set up, free of charge, with a service they used for many types of skills tests. I am now working with the 4th job he sent my way. The company I am with has at least 2 other Aerotek temps working here right now. They also have a history of hiring after the temp contract is over. I had no contract or paperwork to sign until AFTER I accepted the job I am at which made the whole process so much more pleasant! The contract even states that if I do not like the job I am placed at, I can get out of it when the contract is over, or if I find another job on my own that I can give notice with NO fees. All in all, I would work with them again in a heart beat. I refer people to them. And I may have to work with them again with my husband in the Navy!

The icing on the cake is that I took employment with STIHL and was out due to COVID. When I returned my STIHL supervisor said, "Didn't the agency contact you? You were terminated." Of course when I called agency, as usual no one answers nor calls back! I applied for unemployment, and denied benefits because Reliance/People Share told them "I was not terminated, I left voluntarily" which is a total LIE!! This company should be prosecuted for perjury and running a corrupt business!! Reporting them to the BBB and Labor Board, as well as sending a legal, notarized letter to Unemployment of this place! no star rating
