I have experienced hair loss through Cancer treatments in the past in another area. Thankfully I am now a survivor. Now I am experiencing another hair loss due to another situation. I was fortunate this time though, I searched the internet and found this site and Nikki. I have never come across someone with so much compassion and care! I should have scheduled an appointment, but the timing was perfect! She took me in (I know nothing of wigs), we walked her beautiful, and well stocked shop. She choose beautiful wigs based on her knowledge, my face shape, my current hair coloring, and what I was looking for. Her knowledge base is incredible! There is so much to know about wigs! She took her time with me, walked me thru everything! I walked in so hesitant and embarrassed of my situation, and walked out so much relieved and feeling as though burden had been lifted, and as though I had met a new friend. Nicki was amazing! She was very thorough and had me try on a variety of styles until I found one that made me feel like ME (she actually picked it out). I have lost nearly all of my hair due to being very sick from COVID-19 a few months ago. I am embarrassed by this (mortified might be a better way to put it), and I was trying to cheer myself up and look decent again, maybe even a little cute. I made an appointment, paid the $39 to try on some of their wigs. There were very few choices; perhaps a total of 25-30, most were synthetic. The person who tended to me seemed to be nice enough, but was less than helpful. She clumsily put on the stocking cap (which kept coming off), offered no suggestions, made no comments. She did instruct me on how to put a wig on. I tried on 4 wigs. One of them actually looked okay, so I started to take a photo of it. From the room next door, a woman comes over, puts her hand in front of my phone's camera lens, and says, "We don't do that here." I literally have a pic of her hand. I asked what and why, but all I got was, "We don't do that here." again and again. I am not sure what she thought I was trying to do, but I felt insulted and belittled. My time and money wasted. I went to Image Maker Hair Salon Wig Studio because I heard so many good and positive remarks regarding their services. I needed to go to a wig salon that offered privacy, knowledge and a caring environment. My hair loss is due too medical and my hairstyle and color were matched so perfect that no one knows I am wearing a hair replacement. A huge amount of time was devoted to me professionally to help me choose the correct wig. I am deeply grateful for the services offered in this establishment and would recommend this wig salon to anyone who has a hair loss problem. read more

I recently took a friend to this salon because she was/is interested in having her hair styled in a way that she can care for it at home. She also wants a wig in the same style that she can wear if she isn't up to styling her hair. Both of us are older women, certainly not looking for a wig for giggles. The moment we went into this salon, the older lady who runs the place demanded to know why we wanted to try on a wig and when my friend did not explain well, she told her that she couldn't try on a wig. I explained the situation and she continued to be rude to us until I told my friend that we should have gone somewhere else. At that time, she eased up a bit, but was still quite abrupt and continued to be rude and condescending. She was also pushing my friend to purchase a wig. Frankly, the purchase of a $300 to $450 wig is not something that should be done without giving it some thought. My friend asked me to try on one and the lady immediately said that I could not try one on. As I told my friend after we left, if she had the best prices and the best wigs in town, I would not buy from her because of her attitude. My best advice to anyone is to avoid this salon if you want to be treated decently. read more
