My surgery was yesterday morning and boy am I glad it's over...BUT, I want to give this establishment some major praise. Dr. Cote is really a godsend. I'm so glad my current dentist refers her patients to Dr. Cote for periodontal work. His bedside manner is what every patient needs and dreams of. Every person I have talked to in this office has been so pleasant and helpful...from the front desk with Billy & Trina, to Dr. Cote's assistant, Deb. I arrived at my scheduled appointment time and I was called back shortly after. The doctor thoroughly briefed me on what would be happening that morning and outlined the post op procedures and was patient with me with additional questions I had. I chose to stay awake during the process. Dr. Cote gently numbed me up with multiple shots of Novocain (this process was truly the most "pleasant" numbing situation I've ever experienced...usually this is the PITS). During the surgery, he talked me through of what he was doing and what I would be feeling with the different instruments going into my mouth. His assistant, Deb, was spectacular. She had the air suction going the whole time and suctioning excess liquid at the right spots the entire duration. This duo was exceptionally clean and truly masterful at their jobs. Not once did water or anything else splash up into my face. Previous experiences at dental establishments, I recall having water running down the side of my face onto my clothes...and debris splashing up onto my face. If you ever need periodontal work done and happen to get referred to this place, you are in the BEST hands. The doctor gave me a ring last night just to make sure I was doing okay. That's world class service right there.

One of the things that I love and have always loved about this practice is that they know exactly who you are when you walk in. Another thing I love is that I have never waited long to be seen. Ever. I've had the same hygienist for a few years now and she is wonderful and gets the job done. I love being able to ask questions and not feel rushed about it. There is always a little bit of unease when practices switch practitioners and I have friends that have not had great experiences when things change. I'm happy to report that this is not the case and Dr. Camacho and the team are professional, caring, and the amazing team they were before.

THIS IS A REVIEW FOR PARENTS OF TODDLERS/YOUNG KIDS…read more The complaint I have is actually regarding the way they approached my toddler's care. 1. Asked on the phone if they could treat a young child of two years (the answer on the phone was yes, and to bring them in during my appointment). However when I arrived with them they seemed to be very uncomfortable with a young child and the doctor actually didn't look at their teeth, but instead one of the hygienists who "used to work at a pediatric dentist" did. 2. The teeth staining I had concern about (because they can lead to decay and infection) I was told was not a big concern. I was also advised against using fluoride toothpaste and to keep brushing their teeth using baby toothpaste. No additional instructions were given until they could spit better. At the time I felt informed and that my concerns were answered, but this was me putting too much trust in them I think, and how they present themselves as a "family dentistry for all ages". 3.My toddler now has two cavities because of following this advice (or lack of advice). I tried to do the right thing and go to a professional in advance, but I didn't get that here. I am extremely disheartened and wish I had skipped this place and brought my child to a pediatric dentist back then. My toddler is very likely facing oral surgery now because I was given false assurance that things were fine. *Please if you are a parent concerned about your young toddlers teeth look into a pediatric dentist first or at least make sure the doctor will actually look at your child's teeth as he didn't look at my child's directly. You could save yourself from a very unwanted and preventable situation!* My care for my own teeth was very good here, which is why it makes me especially sad that this situation happened because it seems as though they are kind enough and skilled enough but simply didn't take the situation seriously for my child . I have no issues with the care of my teeth, but I would never recommend this place for a young child's care based on my experience.

They lost 5 customers all with commercial insurance because the manager would not call us back (after 4 requests), they sent me to collections over $50.00 while we were waiting in the call back from the manager that never happened . Here's the deal, commercial insurance has a higher margin/return. They billed my insurance wrongfully. Basically make up the money where you can. This was my first time to this dentist and the place looks brand new. They got me in and out very…read morefast. The paperwork was able to be done online on my phone which was nice. The space was clean everywhere and they use some new equipment I hadn't had used on me before (the device to take photos of my teeth), so it has more of a modern feel to it which I loved to see and experience. One of my techs seemed new, but it wasn't much of an issue. I saw Dr. Patel. She's very smart and knows her stuff. This was a new patient appt., and they checked my gums, showed me pictures, and explained everything very thoroughly. I have always had healthy teeth, so was surprised by the gum recession and wear down on my teeth that was mentioned, along with gingivitis. Getting to see what they were talking about via photos was very enlightening. I have soft plaque accumulated along the inside of my teeth on the bottom and was instructed to really get under the tooth better with my toothbrush to get it out, along with going up and down on the tooth when flossing and making sure all of the food is out between them. I also have gum recession and holes in my teeth (worn down to the dentin (2nd yellow layer of the tooth)) along the inside from clenching and grinding (which I've been told in the past but didn't realize how bad it was until they showed me pictures which was awesome to see). I've been feeling uneasy about my teeth health for a while, but was still surprised by how much my gums bled during the check. I'll be getting a gingivitis cleaning and a mouthguard here soon. I will update this post if anything goes awry (considering the 1 star reviews I was uneasy about going here at first).
