We skipped the scavenger hunt and did the preshow magic and got some drinks. In the preshow magic I actually felt him sticking the coin in my watch but didn't say anything to spoil it for those around me. He's a very funny guy and great magician (I've just seen it before from last time - heh heh). Make sure to book in advance. The evening before the show nobody had booked online yet but it was a full house! Under every seat they're now giving a gold envelope with a QR code to card tricks and a card trick inside it too. VIP seats are the front 2 rows I believe and the magician typically only picked participants from those rows although sometimes he did go further back. It's a small auditorium so all seats are pretty good unless you got a tall person in front of you One thing to note. The reservation had a 6:30 pm show time and said to arrive early and that the show is about an hour long. So to get into soecifics, they let folks in at 6 pm. The seated magic show started at 7 pm. The preshow is about 15 minutes and the main act goes from about 7:15 - 8:15 pm. If you want pics with the magician afterwards that'll take more time. Just so ya'll can plan your dinner reservations afterwards.

Gunpowder Soup was the feature performance at our Point S Tire & Auto annual business meeting in…read moreSan Antonio. Performing to a room of 500 guests, they had so much energy and were excited to engage with the audience - cannot say that about every band. Pretty cool to see a band of five include two ladies. All of the band members are multi-talented; singing, playing instruments and dancing! They The guitarist worked the room, physically moving with guitar and microphone around the room, to encourage audience members to sing along with the band. The main singer, Jayna Rose, was a lot of fun and has an incredible voice. The songs they chose were great; a variety of genres that all of our audience members enjoyed (some children and younger adults; mainly adults 35-65). Our group is not an easy crowd to get excited and up to dance, after a full day of meetings - but half way through the performance, a small group gathered to dance and we're given tambourines. This band was also was happy to play MC for part of the business portion of the evening event, ie. "Please welcome Clint to the stage" and played an entrance track. Jeanine cracked a few jokes and added commentary to make the performance feel personal. Gunpowder Soup met all of our expectations, plus some. We will absolutely consider having them come to future events as long as budget allows.

They have different package options with various items and times you can have the room for. You can play whatever music you want and literally just rage out. Reasonably priced and the owner, Liz, is very friendly. You can also donate items you need to get rid of, just check to make sure it's an item they will accept! Definitely worth the money and I will be back again lol. I forgot to take a before picture but we completely destroyed an old tv stand that was made out of some good quality wood haha. My arms are definitely going to be sore!

The online booking process was easy, we ordered the large package (up to 4 people, 1 large item, 1 medium item, 2 small items and glass bottles). Checking in was very swift and easy as well, Grant (the owner's husband) was super friendly and explained everything very clearly! We ended up getting to break a large wooden dresser, a wooden table with glass panels, an old monitor, and a keyboard. Tools for destruction (baseball bats, a large metal wrench, sledgehammers) goggles, gloves, and a JBL speaker were provided for us. You can even bring your own items to destroy as long as they aren't something with chemicals/oil in them. You can also bring your own tools to destroy things as long as they aren't blades. We got 50 minutes to destroy everything, we got everything done in about 45 minutes, so you get a decent time to break stuff. All cleanup is handled by the staff, so you don't have to worry about making a huge mess. That's the point! I would definitely return, was smiling and laughing all through the entire 50 minutes we got. Would recommend wearing a long sleeve, maybe jeans, and some thicker shoes/boots since you'll be stepping on glass most of the time. Be mindful that fragments of glass/wood WILL go flying, so be aware of your surroundings and use common sense. We had a blast and couldn't recommend this business more!

I should have taken my child out of the camp at that very moment. Then even though I did not consent, he used my child's photos on two different media platforms on two different days with multiple pictures. The employee told me they never check consent forms. Ron only apologized when I made him, and after he sent me veiled threatening texts when I said I would get a lawyer if needed. He also texted my personal cell phone after I moved our communications to email. My son, who attends school and has attended multiple summer camps as a star student, reported being picked on all week and did not want to go. Finally, he had a huge outburst on the last day of camp when bullied (I was told it was the other student's first day, as if that was an excuse). I was asked to pick him up less than an hour after dropping him off. Even though I was told throughout the week by three different employees that everything was going fine with my son in class (when I reported he was being picked on). Suddenly, after I told Ron I would get a lawyer re. the illegal posting of my son's image, Ron told me that my son's behavior had been unacceptable all week and that he would show videos of my child to CPS if needed (not sure what that has to do with Ron's posting of my son's photos and clearly written as a veiled threat, but I would have liked him to do so they could see my child being picked all week on in his care). He also told me he would give me a partial refund if I signed a release of claims against him and his employees. I wonder why he has them on-hand? I am only not suing him because it is not worth my time or money but I'll happily post if he tries to deny it. Send your child to this camp at your own risk and moms, stay away from him, I've never had a camp-owner talk to me about putting his face in his mom's breasts before and can't understand why a man would say that to a new female customer.

It was beautiful to see. I unfortunately cannot skate at the moment, but I really had a good time watching and listening to the music. They do have a spot for small snack, but I wish it was a little bit more expansive. Additionally, they do have a security officer at the entrance, which I think it's really good. And lastly, the prices weren't too bad when it came to rentals and paying the fee. By the way, you do have to pay even if you're not skating. They also have a pool table so if you are considering playing, make sure you bring your quarters. I noticed the parking lot gets really full so try to get there ahead of time. Their customer service gets a five out of five from me.
