The show has been extended to March 13th! Get ready, folks, for the biggest and greatest light show in Quebec! Whether by car or by foot, both ways get you to see how beautiful this light show is. If it is permitted to walk on foot, you can take in more sights and have better pictures. It is quite possibly the biggest light show in Canada with themes with their own music. By car, it is possible to see everything in 1 hour with a break in between. By foot, it will take longer but you'll be a lot closer to the lights. It is tough to say how amazing it is in words. Only when you go inside the place will you see all the possibilities of technology and arts in one.

I was a bit disappointed with the whole experience. It was nice don't get me wrong it was beautiful and I see potential but the whole experience was not great. I got VIP passes and let me tell you that I didn't see anything worth being VIP. I am glad I didn't take the VIP + because it did not look appetizing. It looked like a cantine buffet. So with my VIP tickets I got to park VERY far in parking 10 and waited 15 min for a school bus shuttle to take me to the site and oh ya got a free Sprite. Pretty expensive for nothing if you ask me. I didn't like how the site was set up with no directions where to go. No path to follow so you ended up having to backtrack to make sure you saw everything. Also very disappointing to see people letting their kids just ruin the exhibits. The night I went many of the displays were not lit up or only half of the animal was. I get it's their first time but I hope it is better of they come back again next year. Just to expensive for what I saw and experienced

Great initiative in concept but there's definitively room for improvement if they plan to repeat this event in following years. Pros - If you like lights then you're at the right place. Chinese garden and blue icicle garden with igloos were beautiful! Lovely little town area as well. - The market vendors (those that were opened) had a number of cool things to shop for. Hot chocolate available almost everywhere! - Lots of stuff to do. Cons - Booking a timeslot is 100% cosmetic. Long lineups to go in and they don't bother looking the time you booked your entry. Be prepared to see a lot of people there which can effectively ruin your experience. Recommend to go on an off-night, like a Tuesday at 9 PM. It'll be cheaper as well. - Paths are small and with the crowds some savagery is expected. Folks will walk right in front of your picture shot with no cares. Some others will go out of their way to try to take a picture unrealistic given the crowd. Folks with strollers take up significant walking real estate. - VIP Tickets & Parking is poorly executed. First of all, what a dumb decision to implement VIP tickets! Provide a limited parking area and reserve those for the VIP tickets holders? Umm, where do the peasants go park their car then? The answer is they get to pay extra to park in the middle of nowhere with slow and non-existent shuttle buses a few kilometers away! I parked exactly where I worked for $10 and during both my trips of walking... didn't even see a shuttle in sight. Yeah, I'm not waiting 30 minutes for a bus at -10 Celsius! Thanks. - VIP tickets get perks such as "access to areas to warm up". Geez, I guess the poor people get to freeze! Also, "Ooooh a carousel!" What's this? VIP tickets don't get to wait! Seriously? Was this REALLY necessary? Stupid stupid stupid. - Half the market was closed when I visited (Friday 8 PM) which took away from the experience. How can you have half a market open at this moment? - Book your tickets at your own risk! Your evening might be ruined due to heavy rain and from what I read on multiple sites... you're 100% on your own. No reimbursements. - Only saw a few heaters and they were all turned off. Pointless.

I was waiting for the day it opens! The place was amazing, the lights and the work everything was so pretty! It is the best place if you have kids, they will be so happy with all of the lights. The only thing is that the parking service was so not organized, and the crowed was too much, at a point you cannot move easily! I think the best thing to do for next time is to organise better the time where people enter and go out so it is not overcrowded! Overall it was great and so beautiful!

What an amazing feature for all those dedicated team members to create. Stunning ! I'm just going to have to go again to see it all

Illumi is a beautiful site full of lights and different colorfully worlds with a bunch of fun food kiosks like pizza, churos , pretzels and even a fire to make smores. They also serve maple candy and syrup. Great fun for a family outing. I hight recommend it but make sure to reserve online as it's often sold out and can have some lineups. Dress worm as it dose get cold if you do it by foot which is the best way to experience it!

This particular arcade is a "sister arcade" to the orginal amusement 2000 located on st. Cath one of the only arcades in Montreal. Both arcades are game focused and have no rewards system or tickets or anything like other arcades in the states or Toronto had so for me personally makes them a little bit less appealing but I take what I can get. I'm terms of size the location is not very big so often you'll be waiting to use a pinball machine or one of the racing games but the basketball game seems to be the most crowded. On a Friday night there were lots and I mean lots of high school aged kids pouring in and out of the place so keep that in mind if you're not a fan of having a lot of people in one spot In terms of actual game options there aren't to many on one side there's a line of pinball machines followed by 3 shooting type games and 4 basketball machines and on the other side there was a line of racing games followed by boxing machines. To me that isn't the most exciting options or diversity but again it's something. This arcade is a great way to kill an hour but it's not something you can spend a bunch of time with. With 20$ you can buy 80 tokens and it's more then enough for 2 people to play with try it out for yourself and enjoy bringing out the kid in you !

I've been here for Disney on Ice, Cirque de Soleil as well as the Rockets of Laval and never had any issue. The arena looks nice and is conveniently located if you get here by metro with a barely 3 minute walk. They started opening restos within the Place Bell so you can dine and attend your show without an issue. The concessions are limited in choices and grossly overpriced but that's what they're all about, so eat before you come! My issue lies with limited parking in this area. You have to show up super early to find free street parking. You can pay for parking but it's basically downtown prices. I hope when Place Montmorency opens up we can get more affordable parking. This has been an ongoing issue since this place opened. Place Bell does have its own parking but from what I heard it can be a challenge to leave without being stuck in traffic.... something I actively avoid. Another thing I wish this place would have would be more shows. They should be able to accommodate more musicians/entertainers considering the size of the arena. They simply can't seem to book a good comedian and seat 5000 people, it should be a non-issue.

The venue itself is fine, decent sound for an arena. Visited on Friday for Disturbed. The problem…read morehere is the parking. We arrived about half an hour before the show started but signs for parking said Full, and there wasn't much indication that we could pay to park in the mall parking lot across the street, so we drove around for awhile looking for something, finally parked about 2 blocks from the arena. The show was great. But took an hour to leave the parking lot. Unreal.

We played: Wardrobe for Sale Magnifico's Circus The Forgotten Cathedral Lost Island of the Voodoo Queen The Final Stop (And the now-closed Rain Corp) We ran these games with a team of six. For The Final Stop, however, I would strongly recommend four people for the best experience. This isn't just escape rooms; it's massive, cinematic-level immersive theater. Scale and Tech: The sets are absolutely MASSIVE, housed in a sprawling warehouse. Everything felt incredibly high-tech and meticulously built. You can tell they made a massive investment in creating a truly theatrical world. Magnifico's Circus (150 minutes): This room is one of the highest-rated in the world for a reason. The 2.5-hour runtime flies by. It's a huge, spectacular adventure where the actors are truly phenomenal--their passion for their craft elevates the entire experience to a new level. Game Lengths: The standard rooms are a satisfying 75 minutes long, giving you plenty of time to explore the huge environments and complete the challenges. Acting: For every single room, the actors were brilliant and clearly love their job, making the story and immersion perfect.

Now that's a pretty lofty goal to be honest. So I was looking forward to seeing why it's #1. L O C A T I O N Though folks say this spot is in Montreal, it's not. It's in Laval. It's not a far drive (roughly 30 minutes). We arrived at this large building/warehouse. The sign where the name is isn't where the entrance is and you have to go to the left of it to enter the building. There are signs at the door to tell you where to park. Plenty of parking. I N S I D E You walk in and there are lockers to the right and on the left a coat hanging area which is essential during the winter months. There is a wall of board games on the side and folks inside I believe waiting for their turn or perhaps they're the actors waiting for their next guests to arrive. Lots of areas to sit. There is a large rest room for all sexes. It reminded me a lot of the Star Wars land bathroom in Disneyland. There's a large center sink area and a steam punk like vibe in there. E X P E R I E N C E - M A G N I F I C O We entered and went to the desk. Unfortunately the lockers were all taken but they took our purses and left them behind the counter and we hung our jackets on the coat rack. We paid for the experience which is definitely one or the more expensive escape rooms per person (Roughly $190 CAD which included tax). This specific experience is 2.5 hours long and it did take us the whole 2.5 hours as it's meant to take up all that time. After a few minutes or so we were handed a ticket to join the circus and also asked if we wanted the experience in French or English. I think for the sake of us getting through puzzles, English was best. Then we were told of what we can or cannot do and also letting us know not to laugh at the actors. I guess it's happened enough that folks need to be told to be respectful of people. Then off we went. I won't spoil what happens but here are my thoughts on the whole experience. Do I think it should be #1? I don't know. Do I qualify this to be a escape room? I wouldn't. I would say it's more an interactive experience with fairly straight forward puzzles with a linear storyline. The Good Parts: + Very immersive + Easy to follow storyline and puzzles + Help was given freely + Lots of activity The Not So Good Parts: + Not really an escape room + Not really on a time crunch + Puzzles are straight forward + Hints are pushed on you relatively quickly, if you're taking too long or going down the wrong path + No way to "lose" or "fail" + Not so great for folks who cannot climb steep stairs + One of the puzzles isn't really accommodating to tall people and folks wearing big boots O V E R A L L I think as an immersive puzzler experience it's quite a memorable one but you will absolutely take all 2.5 hours. I thought oh, that should be the max time....nope. We breezed through some puzzles. Maybe 2 or 3 were a little more time intensive or we were going in the wrong direction but it's due to the story that it does take that long. The hints were really pushed on you. You'll notice lights flashing or straight forward a voice from afar saying, it's not that, don't focus on it. In terms of puzzles, they weren't super challenging especially if you've done other escape rooms. There's no sense of "escaping" anything or a time limit. So that was a little bit disappointing. There's no way you can fail in this experience. If you can't solve it, they will give you the solution to move the story along. Was it worth the price? I think if you consider it like a musical or play and most tickets are roughly that in good seats, then you're basically front and center in the whole action and doing some puzzles, then maybe? Did I think it was the best in the world? I think as an immersive experience, it was definitely impressive but in terms of difficulty of puzzles, not so much though some puzzles were creative in making use of the space you were in. It's hard to recommend, but overall, it was a good time. Just not really the escape room experience I was expecting.
