I took the online lecture portion already so I have to take skills in person to receive my BLS provider card. However, once I was rescheduled, they changed my date without asking me if I was available. The customer service rep over email does not even try to understand what I'm trying to tell them. It's beyond frustrating and unprofessional because I can't speak to anyone on the phone. My card expires by the end of the month and they're not allowing me to refund the first online class I took even though their scheduling is so messed up. They were basically having me pay $150 for an online plus in person skills. Another lady I was with while waiting for nothing at the location said she was rescheduled 5 times. 5 times is ridiculous! But on the day of the exam I found out something horrible: The Real GMAT is way different than the practice ones. No practice test could have prepared me for my 640 official score. I was mortified. I reached out to Josh at TPU and he introduced me to one of his partners, Jae. In 6 lessons we raised my Quant score from 44 to 49! After studying Quant with Jae, I learned that there were easy points i was missing out on. Really saved me a lot of headache, because before Jae I was focusing all my energy on the super difficult quant questions, but I wasn't seeing results. Thanks Jae and TPU!

My experience with this college has been extremely disappointing. One of my biggest concerns is the…read moreway on-campus job opportunities are handled. From my experience, it feels like Black students are not given the same opportunities or consideration when it comes to certain positions on campus. It has been extremely discouraging, especially when students are trying to work to support themselves while attending school. On top of that, many things on campus are unnecessarily overpriced. Students are already paying high tuition, yet basic things can feel excessively expensive. I hope the school takes these concerns seriously.

I discussed with my cousin about his experience taking the Elitte Bartending School curriculum. He told me they didn't even offer him BASSET certification and he didn't like that the instructor there didn't have any sort of bartending experience, ever. I was just too skeptical to spend money on a course that he didn't even have a good experience with. I signed up for this course instead because I saw all the good reviews and because it offered a BASSET certification. I finished the 2 week course and feel very confident about applying for and working a bartending position now. Greg was extremely insightful when discussing his personal experience in the industry (which he has a ton of ) and with his curriculum (which seems refined over the 7 years this course has been running). You will be tested on the material that is taught, so you'll have to take notes and study at home to prepare for the class. This sounds stressful, but the curriculum is set up for you to learn everything at a good pace and be confident by the end. The set up of the place is half classroom, half bar. The bar set up was incredible and was the biggest reason for my 5 star review. You can tell the effort he puts into making the bartending simulation as accurate as possible. You'll be put behind a state of the art bar as you learn practical methods and techniques of bartending. I cannot express how grateful I am for the bar set up.
